Okay. You got me interested, show. Selina Kyle as a child burglar is something I didn't know I would want to see.
It makes sense for Catwoman, she's a skilled thief, that takes time and practice to get too. I'm excited to see how this works, it'll be interesting. Although, is its own batman universe? Nolans? The Dark Knight(comics and year one)?
is the actress for selina a woman who looks like a child? she looks weird. and young bruce looks like a dweeb. i hope his parents die
is the actress for selina a woman who looks like a child? she looks weird. and young bruce looks like a dweeb. i hope his parents die
I'm not sure whether she's 12 or 21. Definitely looks like a child, though. She also looks a bit like Michelle Pfeiffer who also played the same role in Batman Returns.
The actress playing Selina is 15.
Site's up Official synopsis
Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. He is one of the crime world's greatest foes, a man whose reputation is synonymous with law and order. But what is known of Gordon's story and his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner? What did it take to navigate the multiple layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world's most iconic villains? And what circumstances created them – the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker? GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), GOTHAM follows one cop's rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time. Growing up in Gotham City's surrounding suburbs, JAMES GORDON (Ben McKenzie, “Southland,” “The O.C.”) romanticized the city as a glamorous and exciting metropolis where his late father once served as a successful district attorney. Now, two weeks into his new job as a Gotham City detective and engaged to his beloved fiancée, BARBARA KEAN (Erin Richards, “Open Grave,” “Breaking In”), Gordon is living his dream – even as he hopes to restore the city back to the pure version he remembers it was as a kid. Brave, honest and ready to prove himself, the newly-minted detective is partnered with the brash, but shrewd police legend HARVEY BULLOCK (Donal Logue, “Sons of Anarchy,” “Terriers,” “Vikings,” “Copper”), as the two stumble upon the city's highest-profile case ever: the murder of local billionaires Thomas and Martha Wayne. At the scene of the crime, Gordon meets the sole survivor: the Waynes' hauntingly intense 12-year-old son, BRUCE (David Mazouz, “Touch”), toward whom the young detective feels an inexplicable kinship. Moved by the boy's profound loss, Gordon vows to catch the killer. As he navigates the often-underhanded politics of Gotham's criminal justice system, Gordon will confront imposing gang boss FISH MOONEY (Jada Pinkett Smith, “The Matrix” films, “HawthoRNe,” “Collateral”), and many of the characters who will become some of fiction's most renowned, enduring villains, including a teenaged SELINA KYLE/the future CATWOMAN (acting newcomer Camren Bicondova) and OSWALD COBBLEPOT/THE PENGUIN (Robin Lord Taylor, “The Walking Dead,” “Another Earth”). Although the crime drama will follow Gordon's turbulent and singular rise through the Gotham City police department, led by Police Captain SARAH ESSEN (Zabryna Guevara, “Burn Notice”), it also will focus on the unlikely friendship Gordon forms with the young heir to the Wayne fortune, who is being raised by his unflappable butler, ALFRED (Sean Pertwee, “Camelot,” “Elementary”). It is a friendship that will last them all of their lives, playing a crucial role in helping the young boy eventually become the crusader he's destined to be. GOTHAM is based upon characters published by DC Comics and is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Executive producer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist”) wrote the pilot, which will be directed and executive-produced by Emmy Award nominee Danny Cannon (the “CSI” series, “Nikita”).
Holy shit, they're quick with everything.
I hope Commissioner Loeb appears at some point during the season with Flass and Branden.
Catwoman is older than batman?
Here's Alfred: [t]http://i.imgur.com/0Y2AuiX.jpg[/t] [editline]25th March 2014[/editline] And here's Penguin: [T]http://i.imgur.com/V5yTgww.jpg[/T] [editline]26th March 2014[/editline] And here's Gordon: [T]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BjreQ7bCIAAXQiQ.jpg:large[/T]
Sigh, still a little mad about the lack of mustache. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/MTWriuY.jpg[/img_thumb] Much better.
They don't really fit him. Must be because he's young.
I disagree. I think they look perfect. And besides, the Gordon in Year One sported the look so I don't see how it couldn't work now. At least give him glasses or something. Ollie in Arrow didn't don his mask for quite a while but at least he had a decent beard.

I'll be damned. That 2 minute trailer looks good. Alright, I'm in.
Wouldn't consider myself a fan of Batman, but damn that trailer looks promising.
I was actually unimpressed with the trailer. What was shown was obviously early, unfinished footage but I was very bored by it. The thing that did catch my attention was "BEFORE POISON IVY". I didn't know Pamela Isley was going to be in this. Maybe we'll get some paranormal to mix up in the gritty realistic gravel that live action Batman has had to be.
I kind of like the visual twist they've put on all the character designs. It's like they're faint echoes of what's to come twenty years down the line when the big bad Bat rolls in. I've just realized that this series is being made by the same person who created Rome Suddenly my interest is much higher.
Joker cards(or sign) near the top of the image. *sigh*
Joker cards(or sign) near the top of the image. *sigh*
Riddler question mark on the far right, too.
Riddler question mark on the far right, too.
Cartoon penguin over Penguin.
Cartoon penguin over Penguin.
Black cat underneath Selina.
So is this implying that all the supervillans of Gotham came before Batman, even though one of the recurring themes of the comics is how Batman's presence lead to the existence of all those villains (especially Joker)? I have a bad feeling about that.
Please do not in any wy shape or form include Joker because his main origin theory is that he was an unnamed engineer in ACE Chemicals, and became Joker only because of accident that killed his wife AND because Bat showed up and he fell in chemicals.
I wonder if they'll bring in Aidan Gillen as the CIA agent, since the character become so popular in the first 5 minutes in the dark knight rises.
