Gotta say after the first episode i was not impressed what with it basically just being a run down on the who's who of Batman villains. But since then it's really stepped it up. The only minor issue i have is with Barbra and that's all down to them making her Bi, I don't give a shit normally but i can't see that design choice any other way than trying to sex the show up. That aside the series is great.
Decent finale, but it's only gonna be gone for a month? It's coming back in January.

[sp]Falcone choking out Liza was fucking PERFECT[/sp]
I haven't seen the latest episode yet(E12, the one that aired the other day) but the IMDb rating was, here me out here, 9,9. NINE POINT NINE. Can anyone confirm that this is an appropriate rating? If so, my hype will be blown off the scale.

It sets the physics of the gotham universe, it's alright but the show has grown on me. From the teaser "oh god this is going to be stupid" to "ohhh oh okay, I like this show"

I like the way the plot is moving. The whole baby batman adventures bore me but I really like episodes like the last one that focus on the bad guys doing all their double crossing trickery and shit.
Anyone got the "Fear and Loathing in Gotham" scene from 1x13, where Penguin gets drunk in Fish's place?
Well i thought there'd be a little hint to the joker in gotham, not this but whatever still enjoying the show
Anyone see the commercial after better call saul? Instead of a ginger laughing it showed a dead body with a sheet over it with a red smile on the sheet with the actor laughing.. didn't show the kid actor though so I thought it'd be an adult Joker. I can't find it anywhere. Other people have brought it up too. I feel like it had to have been collective hallucination because if not for that Dark Knigh-esque hype version after BCS I would totally believe that this episode will be a big red herring.
The episode was odd as heck. Honestly the best thing about it was the Jerome's actor. I'm honestly not sure where they're taking this whole possible Joker/Red Hood gang plot line so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Episode was pretty good, Jerome was the best though. Also i have a feeling that [sp]Victor didn't really torture Butch and he will attack Penguin next episode.[/sp]
Is Jerome actually the joker then?
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! [sp]fish plays hardball, with her eye![/sp]
[sp]christ that new eye[/sp], they are really pushing their 'OC do not steal' character hard.
Jada said she's not returning for season 2 and that she's going out with a bang
Snip
I'm still not sure how I feel about this Joker.
I'm still not sure how I feel about this Joker.
I mean I don't like the fact he's in the show, like I understand the other characters/villains but joker has no origin usually, like he's still unknown but then again I thought he was pretty awesome in the episode he was in series 1 and he looks awesome in this trailer so, i'm fine with it, i guess it's their own show and take on stuff so
You know what, I might go back to watching this if it drops the boring plotlines and focuses just on people playing Batman villains. Since it's a popular show, I can totally expect the new season to start in a way everyone can catch up. [editline]23rd August 2015[/editline] I mean, I think this gets better once you stop seeing this is a TV show and more like 60's Batman Prequel. I took a lot of enjoyement out of Smallville once I started seeing it as Silver Age, the TV Show.
Started watching this since it popped onto Netflix. I've just finished the Arkham episode and it all feels very...formulaic I suppose? Jim is just arbitrarily visiting Bruce and Alfred, Barbara (who I thought was meant to be Jims daughter aka Batgirl and not some arbitrarily bi character who once loved Montoya?) having a dark secret and standoffing with Jim all the time because he doesn't want to talk about how much his job wears him down, when she's proven she can't be trusted with important police secrets. It feels rather by the numbers but I'll finish the season I reckon, if nothing else because I really like Cobblepots Actor, he's a fresh spin and I enjoy watching him murder people in carparks. [sp]Also, what the hell was up with that assassin? I have two concealable daggers that only apparently work if I snap them together and roll them into place? Stupid. "You know why they hire a professional? So I can get in some last words because I'm clearly not a professional".[/sp]
Barbara is the name of both his [sp]first[/sp] wife and daughter/niece/the one that's Batgirl.
Barbara is the name of both his [sp]first[/sp] wife and daughter/niece/the one that's Batgirl.
Ah right, that'd do it. I was confused about that a little bit, I watch it with my brother and it introduced Barb and I told him "That's his daughter, though she seems a bit too old" and then they started kissing.
So it's Smallville with Batman?
gothville
Man, fucking Barbara is fucking everything up. [sp]He could've taken down the head of Gothams main Gang there, but Barbara (I'm guessing) decided to get off the Coach and...get captured somehow. Stupid bitch. [/sp] Still, all aboard the Cobblepot express! EDIT: Now she's [sp]sleeping with Montoya again, why is this meant to be interesting in any way?[/sp] It's obviously just "Drama at home" so Gordon has more to deal with.
Finally decided to start watching Gotham. Just finished episode 6 and actually really liking this so far. Love Cobblepot.
I finished the first season and I thought it was pretty good.
Episode two is really good. Jerome is looking like this seasons Penguin.
[SP] NOOOOO JEROME WAS PERFECT AHHHHH WHAT THE FUCK HE WAS LITERALLY PERFEEEEECT[/SP]
