Don't like how she just whacked off the jaws and suddenly they don't try and eat her

Tbh people hate on this show way to much. They expect either breaking bad tier story telling or all action for 45 minutes. What this show does offer however is a fun ride with a fairly equal amount of ups and downs. What keeps me watching is the prospect of seeing the comic scenes come to life. If anything play the telltale game and read the comic before jumping into the show.

they explained it that once you hack these parts off, the zombies would become more passive-like.
although yeah, "realistically", you should be able to piss of a bunch of hacked up, idle zombies by simply getting close and startling them or something.

and as for Comcastic's question, there is a lot of crying and whining over bullshit in this series, and some stupid things happening in general. but at least the theory behind zombie infection is consistent.
The line in the series that described it was "you take away their ability to eat and they lose interest"

as a whole it's a 7, it would be higher if I didn't read the comics.

The comics are way better imo. If they don't show [sp]the hunters and do something similar to what happened to Dale in the comics[/sp] this season I'm gonna get mad. Seriously, just imagine an episode ending like that. People that only watch the show are missing out.

Seems like something that would happen for the finale
Is there any explaination as to how the outbreak happened yet in the comics?
Nope.
Anyone have any guesses on what will happen in #122-#126?

What I dont get is how they mask her scent.
In that case, why do the leashes matter, if theres like 20+ zombies how to they find anything. I dont see how having some chain connecting yourself to them would suddenly make your scent dissapear.
I mean, maybe after a week of traveling with them. But Andrea shows us its almost instant when she goes to the Prison
I always thought it was a little more than just masking the scent. You know how the walkers form hordes by just following the action of one or they would attack a building just because one bumped the door on accident?
Maybe it is slightly the smell and because those two zombies are so close to her yet are not interested in attacking her. So the further away zombies wouldn't see her as a target.
But that is just an inference on my part. A guess really.
And as seemingly evident, it's easy to freak out and draw the attention of the horde.. maybe, or maybe it was just a big "fuck everything" moment back there.

IIRC the writer said he's not gonna reveal it.
so I keep seeing here and there that (minor comic spoilers) [sp] Eugene is going to show up next episode. Is there any source or evidence to back this up? Or is it wild speculation? [/sp]
I wonder how other countries are. Dr. Jenner said France was close to a cure, but the power went out before they could finish it.
That would mean that France and possibly surrounding countries has been overrun. But what about countries like North Korea? Do you think there are any nations that has the whole situation under control?

Also I don't think its really possible to keep this under total control. [sp] Any death that is not brain injury related allows for reanimation. Now try having a huge society where many die everyday, you would have to be on top of it at all times. [/sp] I mean unless a cure could be found.

We don't know anything more about the outbreak than the characters though, and everything we've heard about else where is all hearsay, all we know for certain is that Madagascar is untouched.
North Korea started the outbreak. Calling it now.

To anybody who reads the comics. What do you think will happen in the show regarding Daryl and [sp]Dwight?. Will Daryl be dead before Dwight appears? Will Dwight not appear at all? Or maybe he is the one that kills Daryl and starts using his crossbow? Or could it be that Daryl IS Dwight and might join Negan in the future? (unlikely). I don't know but having two characters using crossbows seems a bit silly for me, altough maybe Dwight won't be using a crossbow at all. What do you think about this?[/sp]

i doubt [sp]they'll bring in dwight, he's probably more likely to become another martinez[/sp]
The comics are really getting good as of late. I don't think they've been this good since the prison assault.
Definitely, ever since Something To Fear the quality just skyrockets with every issue. I hope they kill of Jesus in this war story arc because I think he's outlived his mary sue-ness
I'm okay with them not explaining the outbreak. The whole point is that they're not a special group. They're just one lot of survivors in a massive overrun world.
If wouldn't make sense for them to find out information like that.

I would love to have just one episode that focuses on a group of people in another part of the world. Just one isolated episode... they could even speak a foreign language most of the time so we have to use the visuals and actions to piece it all together. Maybe show a group of scientists holed up in one of their own facilities like the CDC situation in season 1? Could end the episode with them on the cusp of actually creating a functioning cure, but having a horde of infected about to completely overrun them.
Leave it open as to what happened and potentially even return to the story line much later in the show. I suppose it probably wouldn't fit with the overall flow of the series so far, but damn if I wouldn't enjoy an episode like that...

Funnily enough, season 2 was originally going to open with a whole episode following a group of soldiers as they try and fight against the outbreak. One by one they were picked off until only one was left in a tank in the middle of the city. Suddenly Rick appears in the tank and it's revealed he was the zombie soldier from the first episode.
I dunno, he hasn't been around for THAT long and I'm enjoying him. Maybe he'll die, but I've got my fingers crossed for Negan getting a reeeeeeally brutal death. I love him, but I fucking despise him in so many ways.
In his short run in the comics, every time he appears it's just in the nick of time to save Rick and then Jesus fights all the bad guys and comes out unscathed. It's starting to get kind of reptitive.

I feel like(comic spoilers) [sp] Daryl is Dwight. Negan will find him, so he becomes his right hand man to survive.
Then they come across Rick's group and thats whenever issue 100 events happen.
They're all hurt by Daryl's betrayal, but then eventually he comes to them to talk about being the inside man to take down Negan. [/sp]
