season 5/comic issues relating to season 5 spoilers
[sp] The more I see these previews for season 5, the more I believe we just got more backstory to the cannibals in the comics, and we're going to be getting that story arc on the show around the mid season finale. [/sp]

The one scene he's in during every trailer they've shown, Terminus guys are clearly about to kill SOMEONE, and given Bob's not seen in any other scene ever, it's definitely him.[/sp]
Still, maybe they'll throw a curve-ball. I think that'd be giving the writers too much credit though.

Season 4: [sp]I really liked the flashback with bob surviving alone in the last season. It feels like he could be a great character, but they dont do much with him.[/sp]
[comics] [sp] If the Hilltop Colony lacks guns, why not tear down some trees and make some good old fashioned bow and arrows and some spears and large pikes? Maybe some wooden shields? Probably wouldn't do so well against human survivors but against walkers it would really conserve ammo and teach people not to rely on guns so much[/sp]

Yeah the comics have definitely slowed down, [sp]after the whole saviors thing[/sp] but all that was pretty intense so it's hard not to slow down. Now that a new development may is occurring it looks like it will present us with something new.
I'd love to see them deal with a man made disaster during the course of the show honestly. Word of a nuclear plant melt down, or some other facility breakdown like that. A threat worse than the zombies that can't be so directly dealt with, you know? But I understand that the show is more geared towards interpersonal interaction and stories.
Trying to avoid all the spoilers I can for S5... for a change haha. Really looking forward to things, so glad the Prison is out of the picture for good now.

honestly, the best thing to do is go into a live /tv/ thread and watch how many people claim to watch it because it's bad or because they have nothing better to do.
you'd be surprised how many people say that.
i watch it because i like seeing it unfold and i'm determined to see how it ends

comics [sp]Rick was also a lot more calm and collected in the comics, compared to Tyreese who was a little more volatile. In the show, Rick was volatile as fuck and basically went insane, and Hershel was calm and collected.[/sp]
It was an interesting take, but I feel like the show was much more realistic cause everyone was basically relying on Rick to take charge and I can't imagine how stressful that would be in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.
