I knew it was something, but didn't really pay attention to the writing on it.

Jeez you're not paying attention to the important parts of this show

alexandra breckenridge, whom some of you may recognize from american horror story, has joined the cast. my guess is [sp]that girl jessie from alexandria who rick has that brief romance with before, well you know if you've read that far..[/sp]

When I first heard of [sp]Rick's romance, this is the kind of woman I imagined. Suits pretty well I'd say.[/sp]
I can't even imagine trying to find a partner in the walking dead universe. Especially after so long... Talk about baggage.
upcoming comic spoilers
[sp]So there's a rumor floating around that the leader of these "skin-stalkers" is Michonne because Kirkman said that the leader of them is a woman and possibly somebody already known in the series. Kinda fits into what Rick said an issue or two ago: "even after everything I still miss Michonne". Either way I'm anxious to find out Michonne's fate (as well as Ezekial's)[/sp]
[sp]"They don't get to live."[/sp] was my favourite line of the episode.
I liked the line [sp]that's what im going to use to kill you[/sp]

i love badass boasts
Is this thread for the games too, or just the comics and TV show?
use the thread in GGD for the games
Is this thread for the games too, or just the comics and TV show?
Should probably keep the game stuff in the game section. Only talk about the comic here because there's no actual thread dedicated to it. I imagine people who don't read it are probs tired of it being talked about here as well.
i've always wondered why there wasn't a literature/comics/manga section
garry get on it already
I liked the line [sp]that's what im going to use to kill you[/sp]
[sp]Just the look on his face when they were getting dragged, he was pissed the fuck off and definitely has seen some shit.
Gareth is going to get fucked. You don't mess with Rick's group[/sp]

It's so niche it's going to get almost no activity.
We had a book club thread that died ages ago and the comic book thread died a little back too.
Well, people have been good thus far about prefacing their spoilers with comic so I guess it isn't a huge problem.
[sp] I hope Rick getting his daughter back doesn't make him less massively pissed off, angry Rick is a great Rick [/sp]

reading is niche?
what the fuck kind of world do we live in?

[sp]I'd say maybe something happens to the baby and it makes Rick even more of a loose cannon but I highly doubt AMC would take a risk like a dead baby at this point[/sp]

Well, on this forum at least.
Seriously, look up the book club thread and see how dead it is.

Im actually kinda hoping they don't ever [sp]kill off Judith like in the comic[/sp]
Its kinda interesting to see them have to take care of a baby, especially if she grows up into a toddler later on.
Im genuinely curious what a person who was entirely born and raised in this sort of world would be like.

I feel like it'd interfere with a large portion of the source material.
[sp] certain points of the comic just wouldn't make sense in the TV show with the baby alive. Rick's happiness and content with his child is a stark juxtaposition to what he will end up doing to the hunters/terminus.
while there's no doubt in my mind the baby will stay alive because AMC, it really shouldn't. [/sp]
At this point comic =/= tv show. So many things are different at this point. I think we should avoid making comic = tv predictions because we obviously know they're going a slightly different route.

I'm pretty show since the very beginning comic =/= tv show.
But in this aspect it's not far-fetched to assume they will continue to take story elements from the comics.
certain story events have to sync up while the context may be slightly changed. That's kind of the rule with adaptations.
v some very light comic spoilers, mostly an analysis of Rick's character arc in the comic vs the show. v
[sp]Rick's character arc in the pre-alexandria post prison stuff is basically that he has to accept the brutality that is this life he's living and with that brutality do everything he possibly can to keep Carl from ending like Lori(and Judith). This ultimately leads to a very stark contrast to what Alexandria stands for vs what rick's people are at the time they arrive. Things SEEM like they're syncing up from my perspective, judith being alive really just attributes to Rick wanting to be the monster he has to be to protect his family. Kind of staying a beacon of hope for the entire group in what they're fighting for as well. I trust the current showrunner enough to see how it goes. [/sp]
Have we got any streams for tonight?
Preferably not brettygood but if its the only one I'll live.
is it me or is the new intro awesome and what they should have gone with from the beginning?
also, hurrah gabriel.
Was literally just about to comment on the new intro.
no link to a stream?
I'm not entirely sure about this, but didn't someone say that [sp]they saw a cross in the back window of the car that Beth was kidnapped in?[/sp]
