One thing that annoys the crap out of me is no one mentioning Jenner or the CDC at all.
What's there to mention? Just some crap that happened in the past.
What's there to mention? Just some crap that happened in the past.
With Eugene's whole 'reverse engineer the infection' claim, you'd think the CDC [sp]being blown up[/sp] might have some effect on his plan
With Eugene's whole 'reverse engineer the infection' claim, you'd think the CDC [sp]being blown up[/sp] might have some effect on his plan
the CDC isn't the only part of the government infrastructure y'know [editline]20th October 2014[/editline] If I recall Jenner mentioned that he lost contact with other facilities when the CDC went on emergency power? I'm not 100% on that but if that's the case it kinda fits right in with why they wouldn't call Eugune out on the spot?
Regarding the tree markings in the first and second episode http://i.imgur.com/kqu0E0E.jpg
[sp] I Wanna destroy the cannibal guy so hard right now , what's the name of the motherfucker? Gabriel? , also , MOTHERFUCKIN MORGAN , i hope he saves the day on episode 3 [/sp]
I dunno, there wasn't much to discuss. The only thing that left audiences curious after they left realistically was whatever the fuck Jenner whispered to Rick at the end of season 1 which we later find out [sp] is that everyone's infected and unless your brain is severely ruptured when you die, you come back as a walker anyway. [/sp] No offense, I just don't see much good in going back to it when we have much more interesting storylines to work with right now. I really hope season 5 keeps doing what it's doing, because it's fucking excellent so far.
[sp] I don't know exactly what Eugene plan is whether it's just getting rid of the walkers or finding a cure but both of those things the cdc prove to be useless. why not mention you were at the cdc you met a guy there who said you all are infected and that there is no cure, that even if you kill all the existing walkers there will just be more cause we all have it.[/sp]
Keep in mind Jenner and the CDC took place ~2 years prior to the point they're at now and only a few months into the apocalypse. [editline]20th October 2014[/editline] Please, just wait before you start picking apart Eugene's story. All your answers will come soon.
I hope we don't get an episode 3 cliff hanger, it sounds like episode 4 is going to be about [sp] Beth in my opinion [/sp]

Holy fuck that last bit of the latest episode They pretty much captured that scene in the comics to a T and it was amazing. Can't wait for next week.
My only complaint is how unhurt Mr. Gum Chew Baby Killer looked.

Can't wait for next week.
If I remember correctly, [sp]it was Dale that got his leg eaten in the comic, and he died. Bob seems to be hanging on in there, but the bit that's got me the most intrigued is when Sasha says that '3 more have gone missing.' I wonder who will be next? I assume Carol And Darryl are two of them as they just left to give chase. Also surprised that Gabriel didn't take Beth, what with there being a white cross on the car. Could come back to him though.[/sp] Also, [sp]Gareth is a cunt and Martin is a baby-killer wannabe cunt.[/sp] I want them to die as horribly as possible please.
so i've been thinking about it and after rewatching the episode i'm pretty sure bob was crying because[sp] he got bit or scratched or something[/sp] which means the end scene's going to be an unpleasant surprise also i think when they said "they took three of us" in the promo they just meant [sp]bob and they assume daryl/carol because they both took after the bethmobile[/sp]
to be honest the whole [sp]scene with the flooded basement was pretty stupid. bob could easily have picked up on the air bubbles the walker was creating (they were so obvious, first thing i spotted) and i can't even think of a reason as to why the group had to handle the walkers in such a complicated way, of course waist-high water is likely to have something lurking unseen, and tipping the shelves over only increased the likelihood of something creeping around in the murkiness[/sp]
semi-comic spoilers:[sp]so who's gonna shoot the guy's finger off I bet it'll be Carl[/sp]
[sp]My money's on Morgan[/sp]
So yeah I can't wait til [sp] Bob reveals to the hunters he was bit in the basement struggle.[/sp]
What is the anticipated "end-game" for the walking dead? Will they eventually [sp]get to Washington?[/sp] They could essentially keep adding characters to the group and killing others as actors come and go. Or will the series end when it wanes in popularity and they all walk into the sunset towards [sp]Washington[/sp], never really getting there.
The comic is quite amazing where it is now, I hope the show gets to some of the stuff they are doing now.
crazy ass comic shit ETA wednesday
What a great idea to go swim in poopy corpse water :v: No seriously. Going for a dip in certified disease broth. [sp]Would've imagine that if Bob were nicked in the poopcorpsebath; then he'd been pretty damn sick. I once got pus into my blood and it took less than two hours and I was struggling to walk[/sp]
So anyone know how long [sp]this Hunter story line will last? it's not going to take the entire season will it?[/sp] By comic standards it should only be like [sp]2 episodes?[/sp] [editline]20th October 2014[/editline] Also there is no possible way [sp]Martin could have survived Tyreese's punches. God damn he was finished after the first 4, then the camera pans out. Like really? How?[/sp]

Best quality of the New Zealand promo that I could find on Youtube Also managed to find more videos of Beth in the hospital she's seen in the trailer in this Instagram account. Confirms that[sp]Carol gets captured by the hospital group and crosses paths with Beth though there's no sight of Daryl in any of the videos.[/sp] http://instagram.com/twd_daily_bite

Or whatever its called.
I will be disappointed if they drag this out til the "mid season finale". Or whatever its called.
They definitely will. I take it that this + the establishment of wherever the hell Beth is will take us to the mid-season finale, and afterwards will be [sp] the trip to DC and arriving at Alexandria, seeing as they've been filming on an alexandria set. [/sp]

comics kind of:[sp]people expecting literally every shady looking character to turn out to be Negan make me laugh everyone forgets he didn't even show up until they'd been in Alexandria for a while[/sp]

If they plan to stay true to the comics like they said this season, it might be two or three more episodes - 4 at most if they're stretching it. And that's still plenty of time for them to settle down and get introduced to Negan. Maybe not get to the war itself, but at least introduce him far enough that [sp]Glenn gets to meet Lucille at the end of the season[/sp]. In fact, I think that would be hell of a way to end the season.

Everyone's so impatient about waiting for this character's introduction, just give the show some room to breathe. There's plenty to cover. Terminus was completely new to the show, even if it's an adaptation of the Hunters arc. I'd rather see things expanded upon than rushed.
