I always feel like what's happening in the show crossovers what he's currently writing with in the comics and vice versa. For a few seasons each one has kind of been similar to whatever current issue they were on. Like how issue 136's cover reminds me of what's currently going on in the show. But Andrew Lincoln did an interview. What I remember of it is that he said the first three episodes are crazy, but the last four episodes take the show in a new direction.
I'm quite excited to see the whole beth storyline play out. It seems really interesting.
who is this negan guy anyway
who is this negan guy anyway
from what i've come to understand (i haven't read past like issue 96) he's basically if hitler were in a zombie apocalypse. so, kinda like the governor but somehow worse and he swears a lot for no real reason.
why does everyone think he's Negan? He looks nothing like him, he wasn't super buff, he was covered in face tatoos, he was locked in a box, and he was killed. There is absolutely no reference to him being Negan at all. He was just a crazy guy being crazy. Plus I don't even understand how they will do Negan without swearing and massive sexual innuendo being allowed, though they will probably do a very watered down version of him if they keep following the comics.

With a little bit of make-up and grime, he definitely would've looked the part.
I obviously meant the dude that everyone is mistaking for Negan for some reason. If random dude which looks like Negan dies, then he is not Negan
if by "mistaking for" you mean "really hoping for because they don't understand narrative pacing and want everything to happen immediately"
who is this negan guy anyway
a really fucking well written villain
[t]http://i.imgur.com/kqAAeOp.png[/t] negan [t]http://i.imgur.com/xeDSFzr.png[/t] thats all the negan you get from me
I don't think they'll have actual Negan in the show, it just wouldn't work with the stupid ass AMC policy of no swearing. Maybe they'll have some character similar to him.
I don't think they'll have actual Negan in the show, it just wouldn't work with the stupid ass AMC policy of no swearing. Maybe they'll have some character similar to him.
is that an actual policy wtf?
No f-bombs.
they said fuck on breaking bad a few times it was just censored on tv and uncensored on the video release. the problem is half of negan's dialogue would be silenced.
is that an actual policy wtf?
Yeah, no f-words. If you take a look, none of the characters in the show is really vulgar. And Negan is REALLY DAMN vulgar. So I'm not sure how he'd fit.
I'm sure they're aware of how easy it will be to fuck Negan up for the series. I would honestly prefer them to go with the tv-friendly broadcast versions and the uncut versions on the blu-ray release. If you didn't know, that's what they did for the end of last season. [editline]26th October 2014[/editline]
Honestly, I wouldn't mind that. At least you'd be able to hear what he says later on. [editline]26th October 2014[/editline] Could you imagine if Negan's dialogue was like Abraham's obviously censored-for-TV speech? "I'm done screwin' around with this crap." "I don't give a monkey's left nut." He was one of the biggest pottymouths in the comics. It makes me sad to see him neutered as much as he has been so far.
I kinda like the creative dialogue Abraham has been delivering.

You could say it could represents the character development and if I'm being honest they couldn't have picked a better quote than that to dust off the ole fuck bomb
oh man this is a thousand times better
They honestly should have just used this one for the premiere. Sure there would have been a few complaints, but as the last sentence in the entire season, it could have been pushed under the rug and people who were upset would have forgotten it by the time the show came back. Not to mention it was at like 10pm on sunday, not like many kids would be up at that time. Also who cares

the most ironic thing is the scene with the claimers vs the censorship on language in the same episode
Cannibals violently cutting peoples throats in one of the most horrifying scenes ever = A O.K.! Saying a naughty word = STRICTLY PROHIBITED
i mean you technically CAN say the f-bomb before 10pm it just costs money, which is stupid because by technicality it defies the first amendment.
i mean you technically CAN say the f-bomb before 10pm it just costs money, which is stupid because by technicality it defies the first amendment.
No, because it's the networks station, they can do whatever they want. It's unfortunate, but they're not defying anyone's rights by not allowing foul language.

That said, ratings boards seriously have the wrong priorities.
How long until new episode?
How long until new episode?
30 minutes
30 minutes
4 minutes now
Is there a stream? Can't seem to find one! [editline]27th October 2014[/editline] Found a low quality one. If anyone has one with good quality, link would be neat. [editline]27th October 2014[/editline] Oh boy here it cooooomeeeesss, the long awaited line! [editline]27th October 2014[/editline] [sp]"YOU'RE EATING TAINTED MEAT!"[/sp] ITS EVERYTHING I DREAMED OF
