Been watching the walking dead season 1 and 2 with my girlfriend recently, and holy crap its amazing how much some of the characters have developed, like Rick in season 1 saying "we don't kill the living", man has that gone out the window. Also Carol has changed a lot too.

I like them reusing some of the older comic story they never got to flesh out. [sp]Female officer having the same mindset as comic Shane (rescue is gonna come for us!!) and the rewrite of Doc Stevens.[/sp]

It was pretty much solely a character development episode. Get to know the new crew, etc etc.
I hate how they're teasing us though. Skipping straight to [sp]Abraham story[/sp] instead of finishing the [sp]Beth storyline. The ending got me good though I kind of expected Carol to be captured and Daryl to return with Noah for Rick and Co. to knock on their doorstep.[/sp]
They're doing a great job so far, and this episode was a nice change of pace imo. I enjoy seeing what else is out there, but they could have skipped some of the bullshit though.

i would rather have them interweave the storylines as opposed to doing them straight through, now that the show has separate storylines, kinda like how game of thrones never fully plays out one thing in an episode, except for the penultimate finale.
