To a small extent yes but not what i mean, maybe i should say inspired by a series of small thing, basically similarities. The most obvious 1 for me being how Dr Stevens reminds me of Dr Stevens from Woodbury.

(comic spoiler) [sp] I read the issue about why people get their face burnt quite awhile ago. As I thought it was that if the person's wife refused to be with negan that they would get beat/tortured. I kind of shoehorned carol into this role because of that. Daryl would defend her and Negan would eventually break Daryl's spirit.
They already said they were going to do negan however. But we've seen that they can deviate from the comics, so Dwight's role could easily be altered a little bit. Making it to where the reason Rick doesn't feel like he can't trust him anymore, is because he [B]was[/B] his brother, and he killed one of their own. [/sp]
There's a lot that needs to be smoothed out in this theory, but with Gimple as the writer, and them showing they'll add new stories that deviate from the comics, something could work out.
I really, really hope they don't introduce Negan this season, maybe as a teaser in the final, but I don't want Rick and Co dealing with him yet

this seems pretty likely, not counting any potential filler storylines that will indefinitely arise

[sp]Dwight might not appear as he is in the comics, a character might be introduced that fulfills his role but I'm pretty sure Dwight was designed to be kinda like Daryl from the show. While it isn't out of the question that Daryl/Carol end up on that side of the fighting, he isn't going to "replace Dwight" in that sense.
At this point I feel it would be entirely out of character for Daryl to turn on Rick.[/sp]

That'd be more likely happening around the midseason 6 mark. There's a lot to cover in between those two points, that only happened [sp]after they'd been at alexandria for quite a while[/sp]

Look, I know the show likes to drag things out for very long periods of time, but Alexandra is a looooooong time, longer than both the farm and the prison together (at least comic-wise), so unless they plan to put Alexandra in 2 seasons or something, I think they'll speed up.
Honestly I really really hope Negan doesn't show up for a long time. Remember his build up in the comics?0 [sp]He got loads of mentions, everyone at the hilltop was afraid of him, he sent that girl back alive to kill the hilltop leader guy (forget his name) as a message, he has loads of goons out on the roads which Rick and co kill some of...[/sp]

comic spoilers: i really wish they could have [sp]tried harder to make TV eugene more believable. at least comic eugene acted somewhat smart, and proved to be useful to the group, and not like the TV version spouting video game and geek references and talking out of his ass.[/sp]
