I really liked the comment about the hair. I don't think anyone ever mentioned it in the comics, that made me smile.
It's mentioned. He says something about it making him appear less intelligent.
comic spoilers: i really wish they could have [sp]tried harder to make TV eugene more believable. at least comic eugene acted somewhat smart, and proved to be useful to the group, and not like the TV version spouting video game and geek references and talking out of his ass.[/sp]
I fucking hate how they're depicting him honestly He's not a remotely believable character compared to the Eugene of the comics
eugene in the comics was just as (comic spoiler if you're not at this point)[sp]full of shit. dude kept constantly referencing the living dead spinoff parodies, with the whole "army experiment gone wrong" schlick. one thing the tv show hasn't done yet which they should have was brought out his radio that he claimed to check in with the brass in dc every morning, had they done that he would be way more believable.[/sp]
Eugene is still [sp] pretty unbelievable in the comics. [/sp]
Eugene is honestly one of my favorite characters in the comic, I want to believe they will do him justice once he we are over this whole road trip arc in the show.
Eugene is honestly one of my favorite characters in the comic, I want to believe they will do him justice once he we are over this whole road trip arc in the show.
[sp]I hope he gets shot, preferably with that dumb ass look on his face he always has... Plus, this scene right here made me commit to hating him forever:[/sp] [t]http://puu.sh/cF3JG/da4a3a5035.jpg[/t]
[sp]If they follow the comic, eventually, we won't be seeing katbug's dad, codename Sergeant Ginger, anymore[/sp] and yes, I know that's not his actual hair color
They referenced [sp] Him being in contact and using the radio, but it got destroyed [/sp]
wow i barely remember that they ought to remind us about it
Eugene is still [sp] pretty unbelievable in the comics. [/sp]
it's just that [sp]there was more of an attempt in the comics. at the very least, he proved his worth to the group, that whole candlestick thing with glenn's leg and things like that made him more believable in the sense of "hey this guy is actually a smart and resourceful individual who may very well have a refutable scientific background after-all." TV eugene feels too casual and laid-back in his attitude to sell the whole "i'm a scientist and one of the most invaluable people currently alive" thing when he has done nothing whatsoever to back that up.[/sp]
Not available in my country :(
It's just AMC restricting all their videos and everything to North America. Why do you eliminate all your potential customers, i'll never understand...

I find Eugene annoying in general on the show. The way he talks, the way he acts, the way he's written. It's just, bad.
I find Eugene annoying in general on the show. The way he talks, the way he acts, the way he's written. It's just, bad.
it's like they know they aren't going to surprise anyone so they aren't even trying
i hope he dies a painful death
I don't know if everybody here has been reading about this, but Season 5 character death spoiler [sp]There are some indications that Beth dies this season at the hospital. Stuff like how she hasn't been seen during the more recent shootings after the midseason and Scott Wilson (Hershel) was seen on set at the hospital, actor's whose characters have died still show up for the filming of other character deaths, he would be there to see his show daughter's death.[/sp] [sp]If she dies, what a waste of time and resources for the group that would be. They all could be on their way to Washington now if it wasn't for that. I guess it would be closure for the group or whatever, maybe they get Everybody Hates Chris to replace her.[/sp]
It would be very unwise to put emphasis on a single character as a plotline for a season only to kill them off thank god this show has never done that before LOL
Beth is so boring though and they either have to make her badass and useful like Carol or hurry up and kill her off.
Carol is my favorite character. I've said this many times but damn is it true. Never would have figured that of the original S1 group, it would be Rick, Carol, Glenn, Daryl, and CAROL of all fucking people. [editline]8th November 2014[/editline] reading the synopsis for the next few episodes worries me. It seems they're going to drag out the beth thing for awhile.
Beth is going to be in the next episode, I thought it was going to be an Abraham episode.
I read that it was an abraham only episode.
Just finished All Out War: Part Two (Volume 21). Now I need to move onto Volume 22 (if I can find it) and then the issues. And then I'm upgrading to a subscription instead of individual purchases, if that's possible in Sweden. I will say I'm a bit pissed at Rick [sp]for just slicing up Negan like that, because I was interested to see if Negan was actually turning good, or if he was just acting. Regardless it does look like Negan's kinda given up, so I'm excited to read the coming issues to see what will happen.[/sp]
@Above: People who've already read all comics up to date be like:

I just don't feel like Negan would have given in to Rick that easily and suddenly called the war to a truce.[/sp]
I haven't been interested in the show or comics for a while, but the "Bethisode" and her silent braindead stare for 95% of the episode has made me lose any and all interest by now. And why the fuck is young Chris Rock in the show now.
It begins.
You guys got your wish [sp] Eugene's starting to do things now [/sp]
[sp].....this episode is just full of awkward moments.[/sp]
So, [sp]Eugene's dead?[/sp]
