Possibly the worst of the season, if not the whole series.
Liked the episode overall, though.

[sp]What the fuck Beth. Honestly that shit was so disappointing. I used to be a little defensive about the writing with the trope that character stupidity drives a majority of the plot, but seriously, I find it very hard for that situation to have any sort of gravity given what Beth did was so astronomically pigheaded. I used to be excited for the next season but that was horrendous. I would have been shocked if Beth was suddenly killed or something, but that turn of events was so illogical as to completely destroy my suspension of disbelief.
They spent [I]one entire episode[/I] developing her character just for her to die at the hands of her own stupidity. With tragic at the complete opposite spectrum, that death was horribly pathetic. Yes, I'm shocked... at how poorly it happened. I really wanted Beth to have some cool, perhaps even heroic death after all those episodes they spent on her, even bringing back the suicide attempt in Season 2. She never even underwent any sort of proper character transformation, it's as if she hardly even existed. Rick just seemed mildly displeased for Christ's sake.[/sp]
