Thanks...
[sp]Beth died due to her own stupid mistake[/sp]
not so much of a clever girl.

Great
I had the episode spoiled for by amc themselves
They just had to share a fucking picture about who dies
fuck amc
[editline]1st December 2014[/editline]
they even posted it like right after the fucking episode aired
[SP]Beth death was dumb. She didnt havnt any motivation to try to kill her and the cop lady wasnt even that bad of a person. The whole scene was really good except Beth death. [/SP]

[sp] the two of them dying was the stupidest situation possible, I mean Daryl shooting Dawn was expected, but Beth stabbing the officer? That's some seriously stupid shit, and horrible scripting. Despite her 'imprisonment' Beth had no purpose for trying to kill her, and of all things to stab them in the shoulder area? Dumb as fuck.[/sp]
[sp]rick shot dawn, daryl didn't shoot anyone. also yes beth was stupid for trying to kill dawn, she should have went for the jugular, not her ribs.[/sp]
also there's no conservation of detail
[sp]officer bitchface's gun was holstered and in full view of daryl as beth approached. the gun somehow got unholstered to point up and be just below beth's chin without daryl seeing?[/sp] yeah right
[QUOTE=Pops;46613156][sp]rick shot dawn, daryl didn't shoot anyone. also yes beth was stupid for trying to kill dawn, she should have went for the jugular, not her ribs.[/sp][/QUOTE]
[sp] Daryl shot Dawn, they even showed him doing it. Norman even said he did it [/sp]

[sp] Other than the fact that she cared about Noah, and Dawn wanted Noah, which wasn't part of the deal. Beth acted out of hatred and within the moment, she could have aimed better, but I don't think she thought anything was going to happen. [/sp]
To be honest I thought this was a really boring episode except for the last 10 minutes and [sp]Abraham showing up at the church[/sp]
Anyone else think the first episode of the second half is gonna end in (comic spoilers) [sp]Maggie hanging herself? I wonder how it's gonna work out with Glenn and Ab, seeing as their show relationship is a lot different than in the comics[/sp]

[sp]Maggie forgot about beth one time, I'm sure she can do it again.[/sp]
Just finished watching this mid season finale and it was was nothing compared to last season, I've not spoken about TWD on any other board/forum but [sp]Beth dying brought tears to my eyes and I could barely contain myself from becoming a sobbing mess. Especially the reaction of the other group members by her death.[/sp]
Never before have I felt such emotion from a TV series, best one in the world I love TWD.
[sp]Shame about Beth though, I really wanted to see her and her sister united again :( [/sp]

[sp]The other thing that really bothered me about how that went down is Rick really didn't do anything to intervene as the group leader. He was a full-on brute at the beginning, "my way or the highway" mode (he had no reservations with Officer Lamson-- the guy he hit with the car, shot dead, and then for good measure told his corpse to shut up) and yet he didn't even seriously flip out and try to stop Beth when she decided to go in Noah's place. No arguing, no fighting-- not with her or Noah, or Dawn for that matter who it really would have made sense for him to argue with her... he just protested a little bit, stood by, and let Beth go.
I also was expecting Rick to be more brutal and uncompromising with Dawn than he was. Maybe he was subdued more than he had been recently because she was a cop and a leader and he could relate to her. I don't know. Again though, he had no reservations about brutally killing Officer Lamson the way he did; why the reservations with Dawn? Why no big argument or anything at the very least?
The whole thing just didn't make much sense. They stuck around and kept talking when there wasn't anything to talk about and when they should've been making a fast exit, there wasn't any sort of intensity by that point or build up, and suddenly Beth's stabbing Dawn and everything goes to shit. The set up was just really bad. Like I said, there was no reason based off what had happened why things went down the way that they did.
I can kind of understand Beth not giving a shit anymore, it was established back in Season 2 that she had suicidal tendencies and was depressed, and wanting to cause as little trouble for both sides as possible, hence why she opted to go with Dawn in Noah's place, but there wasn't any reason why she had to attack Dawn like she did other than the writers felt the need to kill someone off quickly for the midseason finale and bring the hospital story arc to a close.
Daryl shooting Dawn in the forehead was incredibly satisfying at least.[/sp]

I've been in uni all day else I would have. I was going to when I found it on AMCs site but it seemed a bit too close to the episodes release to post videos.
It honestly wasn't a terrible episode and it worked well enough to set us up for the second half of the season, but it wasn't a great episode either. Not much happened until the end, and what did happen didn't make much sense.
It looks like we're going to be seeing more scavenging than before when it returns in February too. That's going to be fun. I love the scavenging episodes.
Legit don't know what's gonna happen now that both terminus and the hospital have been resolved. Find another shady group to get involved with I guess.
has anyone noticed how weird bob's army jacket is, it's got like several different division/regiment patches, like he's got 82nd airborne, 1st Armored Division and a bunch of other shit.
[editline]1st December 2014[/editline]
I'm not sure if it's bad costuming or they're implying he served in those divisions (what is entirely possible since most of them are still active) but if it's the latter it would imply bob is a great fighter.
he was a medic, could have easily gotten transferred to those units
show/talking dead: [sp]so their last skype question was like "so why does rick not just say 'yo eugune we've been to the cdc there is no cure'", but chris hardwick and kirkman glossed over it, probably because he doesn't want to explain shit-tier writing[/sp]
Well, it's not like they had anything better to do. Terminus was gone, so was the prison. Might as well take the only thing left :v:
Just my personal opinion[sp] season 4 mid season final was much sadder and just overall better. losing Hershel had more of an impact on me than Beth and seeing the after match of his death was really satisfying. [/sp]
[sp]Holy shit with facking BBQ sauce, that must have been the most pointless and unnecessary death ever. But was it ever so awesomely dramatic.
Beth HAD to know that stabbing Dawn would lead to her own death, I knew Beth's character development was on the dark and edgy path but this took it up to eleven, holy shit.[/sp]
[sp]The whole exchange was weird as fuck. I expected the bad cops to try some shit. Dawn early on seemed reasonable enough and I expected Beth to be upset but to actually stab Dawn like that? A bit too much. I also found it a bit funny how quickly Dawn shot Beth. Stab, BOOM, gun amazingly fast under the victim's chin. I even think Dawn herself was surprised how quick the gun got there looking at the face she made.[/sp]

[sp]I think there's no reason for her to off herself as long as Glenn's still alive.
and i don't want her gone from the show anytime soon cause lauren cohan is hot as fuuuck[/sp]
[sp]Man, Daryl breaking down into tears and carrying Beth's lifeless body and Maggie's reaction to that was absolutely heartbreaking[/sp]
So what became of the clip of [sp]Rick and Daryl firing rifles back to back in the empty warehouse building[/sp]?
It kept showing up in teasers and adverts. Never saw it, maybe for the next half of the season.
I'm sorry but the actress playing Officer Sheperd was very beautiful. Maybe I just have a thing for how she was rocking that uniform though, who knows.
S5 2nd half speculation: [sp]I really really want to see the Morgan/Rick reunification, I feel like it will be a real tearjerker for me. Honestly kinda confused as to why he abandoned his trick master town of traps though, he could had survived anything there.[/sp]

[sp]I don't think the CDC guy was looking into the possibility of the virus being some sort of weapon with a kill switch[/sp]

But that was so long ago I don't really remember exactly what he told the group
