with all these old people, they can have an audition to find a new dale
Honestly most people that like the finale sound like they're in denial
As an episode I enjoyed it and it was pretty good imo, but as a finale it was terrible.
I don't know why but this whole season wasn't all that great. Overall uneventful and filled with filler episodes. It basically came down to settling in a prison, Glen and Maggie's kidnapping to set up a feud between Rick's group and Woodbury, and then minor events leading up to an underwhelming finale leaving the group in the prison for another season (maybe). Feels almost like they ran out of ideas.

Hershel and the Gov apparently didn't get the memo that this was a funny face picture. And Carol just doesn't want to look.
Didn't expect a finale like this, and the set-up for next season seems dull. And now we play the waiting game.
-snip automerge- So... I'l ask again: does anyone know where I can watch last night's Talking Dead?
Just being honest, better than the whole thing with people thinking they're better because they can enjoy a finale that's not action packed
Those people are assholes too, what's your point?
Those people are assholes too, what's your point?
Considering my initial post was for those kind of people I guess I have a pretty good point then

Guy in the back is just trying to do his fucking job and these twats keep taking pictures [editline]1st April 2013[/editline]
herschel's knitting club
I got a reliable source on the writing team who told me some stuff going down next season. An episode focused on Herschel starting a knitting club next series has been confirmed. It starts off fun with them knitting warm multicoloured hats for everybody in the prison. Rick thinks it's funny to come in totally naked with a little knitted hat on his erect cock but nobody laughs apart from ghost Laurie, T-Dawg and Ben Kenobi. He's the only one that can see them anyway. Herschel and Beth get piss drunk and knit an Eye-Patch and send it to the Gov. He opens it and it's pink and says "Gays" on the inside. There's a letter attached saying "NoW YoU'rE ALwaYs lOOkIng aT GAyS". He throws it at the wall and says "I wish I had some friends". He starts to cry and Martinez comes in and hugs him. He sees the eye patch and tries not to laugh. One of the old people (named Abdul) gets a little into it and starts to try to take over leadership from Herschel. Plus Abdul is banging Beth loudly every night. Herschel gets really upset about it and starts to cry. Things are taken too far when Herschel turns up to the Knitting Club to find everybody is knitting 'Left' and 'Right' socks. A concept totally useless to him. He sits in his cell and cries for 8 hours but Daryl comes in with a little multicoloured hat on his erect cock and everybody laughs. Then the credits role.

Ohohhohohhahhaahahah! Regarding episode 16 [sp]Andrea's death: What the fuck are you doing?! You are not even fucking trying!!![/sp]
I have some predictions for season 4. Here's to hoping it goes something like this. [sp]Episodes 1 to 8: Rick and his people struggle to maintain the enormous group now filled with people from Woodbury, while at the same time Rick tries to fix his relationship with Carl and convince him to trust his judgement again. During this time, Rick and Tyreese begin to develop a friendship, and romantic relationships begin to sprout up amongst the group. They enter a period of peace in the Prison. Meanwhile, the Governor grows more vengeful than ever upon returning to Woodbury and finding it abandoned. He commences a final suicide attack on the Prison, killing off several members of Rick’s group, including Hershel, Beth, Judith, Sasha, Tyreese, and Doc Stevens. A herd of walkers swarm into the Prison after him. Karen shoots the Governor in the head just before she is swarmed by walkers, killing him. Martinez and Shupert are both killed. The walkers follow the remaining elderly, women and children of Woodbury as they flee inside the Prison, and presumably eat them all. The surviving members of Rick’s group flee the overrun Prison in different directions. Mid-Season Finale Break Episodes 9 to 16: Rick and Carl spend several days alone together on the road. At this point, Carl distrusts Rick more so now than ever, and blames him for the loss of so many of their group. The two spend several more days alone on the road before they are reunited with Michonne. The trio travel together for several days and eventually end up back at the ruins of the Greene family farm. Here, they discover Maggie and Glenn have survived. Maggie is devastated by the loss of her father and sister. The groups is eventually reunited with Daryl and Carol. At this point, the group has absolutely no idea as to what direction they should head in next, and decide to stay put at the farm temporarily as the herd has long since moved on, and the farm is relatively abandoned. After a short time at the farm, the group is surprised by the arrival of several people making their way North - Sgt. Abraham Ford, and his group of followers. Rick is initially reluctant to trust the group, until one of them, Eugene, steps forward and tells Rick he is a scientist making his way to Washington D.C. with a solution to the infection. After some debate amongst the group, they agree to join with Abraham’s group and make their way to D.C. The journey North has begun, but the group is unaware that they are being followed by a herd of several thousand walkers. [/sp]
[sp]So, nearly exactly what happened in the comic?[/sp]
I'm wondering, will we get a Carl Fucking Grimes twitter account now that he's somewhat become the alpha of the group?

Beth wants carls D
Beth wants carls D
Beth Greene 17 Carl Grimes 13 Emily Kinney 27 Chandler Riggs 13 I am jealous of Chandler Riggs. [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] The girl who plays Beth is the same age as the girl who plays Sasha and nearly the same age as Glen and Maggie.
^nobody else it could be, considering that's also the general plotline of the comics.
Is that article not just talking about David Morrisey reprising his role and not Morgan? And come to think of it, it only occurred to me that Morgan was madly rumoured to be in the episode but wasn't.
And yeah... I was disappointed.
And you're going to continue to be disappointed. It's funny to see all the bitching about season 2 and now 3 like the creators and decades-old industry pros don't know what they're doing. They absolutely know what they're doing, and they did it well. Look at the cinematography of season 1. Go back and watch it. All of it. Notice some mood and ambiance is missing? That's because the people that created it are no longer there. Notice the character interaction is super simplified in season 3 compared to season 2, with exception of Darryl and Rick. Hershel seems like almost different character, and the reason why is pretty plain. Wanna know why? Cause the people who wrote most of that aren't there any more. The reason they're gone is because of the people oversighting the show, namely Charles Collier and Joel Stillerman are world class assholes. Collier is the guy who cut season 2's budget by 40% and decided to keep the credit money sent by the state of Georgia on the show's behalf for filming there for AMC instead of giving it to the people actually using and making it, the cast and crew Joel Stillerman is the guy who runs AMC scripted programming department, and the guy who's responsible for the rest of AMC's line up being reality shows shot for about about a tenth of the budget of Walking Dead. Mad Men and Breaking Bad are ending because both the creators of said shows have had it up to their ass with Stillerman. Vince Gilligan won't even allow Stillerman on set. The difference with Walking Dead is AMC owns it outright. When Stillerman tried the same tact with Breaking Bad, Gilligan and Sony TV immediately contacted FX Original Programming about jumping ship, and suddenly AMC had a change of heart on show cost. Mysterious. Let's see some of Stillerman's suggestions: "Hearing zombies instead of ever seeing them, cause make up is expensive." "Shooting the show almost completely indoors to save on location shooting and make permanent sets" (Remember season 2) "Have more adultery and infighting amongst the cast so zombies aren't as necessary to fuel conflict, and then like Mad Men there will be more sex scenes which draw viewers" The reason WD is having thematic issues isn't the writers, and it isn't the producers. It's the people who got greedy after the ratings came in. The people in charge keep quitting for rather straightforward and plain reasons. AMC's other shows are finalizing for the same reasons. [editline]1st April 2013[/editline]
season was good finale was meh [editline]1st April 2013[/editline] mm
he'll be hungry an hour later.
Great episode, bad finale. When's season 4 slated for? [sp]I'm really glad it ended with nice feels between Tyreese and the group. Taking in the Woodbury citizens was a massive shock to me but I think it could work. Definitely going to be a big change of pace.[/sp]
http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/04/01/the-walking-dead-exclusive-season-4-preview-video/ Thought you guys would find this interesting
[sp] I was getting really excited about the jail fight then it was over within minutes, very poorly done, writers.[/sp] I'm pretty much done with this show now, last season was shit IMO and this one was just as bad, barely even bothered watching this season, I had hope for it but I got cock slapped in the end.
AMC better not fuck Breaking Bad up like they fucked this up
dont worry, breaking bad writers actually think while they write
i enjoyed it sorry guys
i enjoyed it sorry guys
Fuck you and your opinions! >:(
I watched the finale for the second time and I enjoyed it a lot more second time around. [sp]Yes it was built up to be a spectacular action packed thing which it didn't turn out to be but I still liked it for the sentiment. Woodbury citizens being saved from the Governor who has apparently gone to defcon 1, Andrea and Michonne having a sad moment before she blew her brains out. Rick looking up and not seeing Lori was emotional too. Next season is set up to be interesting. Carl needs to get his shit together. The Governor is bound to do something crazy now too. I do see why people thought it was underwhelming and I agree to a certain extend. Andrea could have saved herself if she hadn't talked so much and the attack on the prison was a bit short lived really. It wasn't as good as I had hoped but I still enjoyed it a lot.[/sp]
