He isnt getting fired. His contract ended and they couldnt agree on new terms so he left.

I haven't read the comics, but from my understanding (from tvtropes :v:) is that the comics and TV show have a lot of differences already, it would be silly to assume things are the same before they happen.

I think either one could arguably be worse, (comic and show spoilers) [sp] Ben killed an innocent child/his brother who was actually part of the group and had no sense of morals and could kill anyone else at any moment. Jody had caused no harm whatsoever at the time he was shot, but was on the opposing side. [/sp]

It seems to me that people are starting to 'calm' down a bit about the finale now.
Am i the only one that was really disappointed by this season? The first half of the season was pretty decent, but the rest was just really boring, dull and lazily written. [sp]excluding Morgan episode[/sp].
Now that i think about it, season 2 was actually better then season 3. It almost feels like an enitrely different show.

That's not what i mean. By different 'feel' i mean the whole atmosphere of the show changed, and not in a good way.
Its almost like they changed the entire team of writers.

Not the best comparison, because that was the best 6:30 minutes of the entire season.
I get what you mean, each season has a very different feel. The first season was different to the second as well. Some may like the direction the show took, so won't. The good news is that with a new season comes a new perspective and road for the show to take. Who knows, it could be the best one yet.

Missing my point. I'm talking about the overall quality and the writing of the show.
For example, They spent the ENTIRE 2ND HALF of the season building up for the "war", and what happened? 25 fully armed guys walk into the prison for around 3 minutes, get shot at a few times and run away. Seriously?

The show used to have much more content in every episode. These days it seems there's very little content for the sake of elongating the season. Now there's a lot of lazy camerawork, lazy angry acting, and a cast that feels like they're procrasting from doing anything productive. Yes, finding shelter and keeping low might be realistic, but realism doesn't always equal fun to watch.

[sp]People seem to forget that Martinez and whatever the other guys name is, have done equally as bad. They're not 'good' people, killing the military and who knows how many others. At the end of the day, they were shocked, but they knew the Governor wasn't a good guy. The people he killed were civilians, with no knowledge of what Gov. Martinez and Co. had been up too in earlier episodes, I think Martinez may pull a Milton next season, but I doubt he'd join our main cast. [/sp]

And Merle's last stand was one of my favorite scenes from the entire series. Now I'm looking forward to the new writer even more, this should be good.

Yeah, right now, he looks good, even though I liked Season 3, and 1, and most of Season 2, if those quality episodes is what we have to look forward to, then I'm happy.
