I could sit in this thread looking at pictures from The Walking Dead for the rest of my life.
I wonder if Carl or someone will go a bit Hitler and kill some of the old people as they're not useful for the group
Carl will pull a (Telltale video game spoiler) [sp]Crawford. Which will gloriously ironic[/sp]
I wonder if Carl or someone will go a bit Hitler and kill some of the old people as they're not useful for the group
Carl will (comic spoilers) [sp] murder some of the old people emulating his murder of Ben [/sp] callin it.
Carl will pull a (Telltale video game spoiler) [sp]Crawford. Which will gloriously ironic[/sp]
Speaking of the game, it'd be neat if we got an old guy similar to Larry. Him and Carl could conspire. Or she. :O
Carl will (comic spoilers) [sp] murder some of the old people emulating his murder of Ben [/sp] callin it.
I think Jody emulated that.
Carl has been quite a dick last few episodes. But then again, the world has gone to shit and there are zombies everywhere so I dunno.
Id let Maggie beat my brain
So did anyone else hear about Glen Mazarra getting fired? I haven't heard much, nor do I know why a bunch of my friends are really excited about it.
So did anyone else hear about Glen Mazarra getting fired? I haven't heard much, nor do I know why a bunch of my friends are really excited about it.
He isnt getting fired. His contract ended and they couldnt agree on new terms so he left.
If you hadn't noticed, Hershel is [sp]Dale[/sp] from the comics, he will die to the hunters.
Only one thing is similar, you can't make they assumption especially since TV =/= comics
You're only on season 2 episode 9 and you don't know if it can get any worse for the characters? Oh, it gets worse. A lot worse. But it gets soooooooo much better. If you're making it through season 2 fine, you'll love season 3.
[sp]I don't feel any better after watching season 3 now :([/sp] [editline]3rd April 2013[/editline]
If you hadn't noticed, Hershel is [sp]Dale[/sp] from the comics, he will die to the hunters.
I haven't read the comics, but from my understanding (from tvtropes :v:) is that the comics and TV show have a lot of differences already, it would be silly to assume things are the same before they happen.
Not really. [sp] Ben was part of their group. Not to mention that he was significantly younger than Carl, which made his death that much more effective. [/sp]
I think either one could arguably be worse, (comic and show spoilers) [sp] Ben killed an innocent child/his brother who was actually part of the group and had no sense of morals and could kill anyone else at any moment. Jody had caused no harm whatsoever at the time he was shot, but was on the opposing side. [/sp]
[sp]He was holding the gun in such a "I could flip this and shoot you at any second" way, if he'd just dropped the fucking gun like he was told rather than hold it out for so long carl probably wouldn't have shot him[/sp]
It seems to me that people are starting to 'calm' down a bit about the finale now.
Am i the only one that was really disappointed by this season? The first half of the season was pretty decent, but the rest was just really boring, dull and lazily written. [sp]excluding Morgan episode[/sp]. Now that i think about it, season 2 was actually better then season 3. It almost feels like an enitrely different show. Seriously, watch this scene from season 2 Don't tell me it doesn't feel completely different. -The camerawork -The dialogue -The acting -The writing what happened AMC

Also, yeah, but every single season has a different feel to it.

Its almost like they changed the entire team of writers.
That's not what i mean. By different 'feel' i mean the whole atmosphere of the show changed, and not in a good way. Season 2s whole atmosphere was different to Season 1 as well.

I get what you mean, each season has a very different feel. The first season was different to the second as well. Some may like the direction the show took, so won't. The good news is that with a new season comes a new perspective and road for the show to take. Who knows, it could be the best one yet.

I'm talking about the overall quality and the writing of the show. For example, They spent the ENTIRE 2ND HALF of the season building up for the "war", and what happened? 25 fully armed guys walk into the prison for around 3 minutes, get shot at a few times and run away. Seriously?
-The camerawork -The dialogue -The acting -The writing
The show used to have much more content in every episode. These days it seems there's very little content for the sake of elongating the season. Now there's a lot of lazy camerawork, lazy angry acting, and a cast that feels like they're procrasting from doing anything productive. Yes, finding shelter and keeping low might be realistic, but realism doesn't always equal fun to watch.
[sp]Seriously, there were like 30 armed people there. How does no one shoot him... That was just fucking retarded and stupid. Just like no one dying in the prison attack.[/sp]
[sp]They didn't expect it I guess? Or maybe they just looked up to him that much. I dunno. Or maybe it wouldn't be that great to just have a citizen kill him and then everything is solved[/sp]

Or maybe it wouldn't be that great to just have a citizen kill him and then everything is solved[/sp]
[sp]People seem to forget that Martinez and whatever the other guys name is, have done equally as bad. They're not 'good' people, killing the military and who knows how many others. At the end of the day, they were shocked, but they knew the Governor wasn't a good guy. The people he killed were civilians, with no knowledge of what Gov. Martinez and Co. had been up too in earlier episodes, I think Martinez may pull a Milton next season, but I doubt he'd join our main cast. [/sp]
Well, the guy who was behind "Clear" (AKA [sp] the Morgan episode [/sp]) is the new showrunner, and that was the best episode on the second half of the third season. The guy also made "18 Miles Out", the one with Rick and Shane duking it out. Not to mention "Pretty Much Dead Already", the [sp] barn clear-out episode [/sp] and "This Sorrowful Life", the one with [sp] Merle's last stand.[/sp] I think we're in good hands. The guy obviously knows what he's doing and he's given us some of the best episodes the series has ever had. He's all about progression with the story, and I honestly couldn't be more excited. I'm just hoping we get a decent trailer at Comic-Con or something.
Oh nice, I only knew that that guy wrote "Clear" before. If someone were to ask my favorite episodes, all of those would probably all be in my top 5. And Merle's last stand was one of my favorite scenes from the entire series. Now I'm looking forward to the new writer even more, this should be good.
