[sp]sad andrea died, michone and daryl are my fav[/sp]
Season 1 was good, nice way to start things. Season 2 was the worst one so far, mainly because half the episodes went nowhere. Also I think Shane's behaviour sometimes changed very rapidly. The third was possibly the best one but I noticed a lot they had good ideas but executed them poorly. [sp]Instead of that filler episode with Andrea running away they could have focused about ten minutes showing the rest of Gov's army not really thrilled about attacking the prison. That way it wouldn't look so silly they run away after first sign of battle.[/sp]

For the collectors out there, here's the lineup for the Series 4 Walking Dead action figures:
ANDREA Strong-willed and capable of dispatching Walkers with an almost chilling ease, Andrea is an original member of the group of survivors led by Rick. Separated from her friends during the chaos at Hershel’s farm, Andrea has fought hard to make it through a number of dark days–first with the aid of Michonne, and later against the sadistic will of her one-time lover, The Governor. This action-figure comes with 22 points of articulation, pistol with leg holster, sniper rifle, and pitchfork from Hershel’s farm for fending off the undead. THE GOVERNOR The charismatic leader of the seemingly utopian town of Woodbury, The Governor plays the role of stern, but just, leader–a hero and source of confidence and hope to the people he protects. But, the role he plays and the man he truly is are too very different things. Beneath his well-meaning facade is man capable of acts of violence and dread that could make even a Walker’s skin crawl. This action-figure includes 22 points of articulation, an alternate head without eyepatch, pistol with hip holster, hunting knife with sheath, and large knife. CARL GRIMES The son of Rick and Lori Grimes, Carl has gone from being a reserved, fearful child to becoming a true battle-hardened Walker dispatcher. As the youngest original Atlanta survivor, Carl has been forced to grow up brutally fast with little to no room for childhood amenities. Accessories for this figure includes 22 points of articulation, a hunting knife with sheath, prison medical bag, prison keys, and a removable sheriff’s hat given to him by his father, Rick. RIOT GEAR ZOMBIE & RIOT GEAR GAS MASK ZOMBIE All Walkers are dangerous, but some pose a greater threat than others. Covered from head to toe in body armor, the riot gear zombies prove to be difficult to exterminate. In order to secure the prison, Rick and the group must come up with inventive ways to dispose of these Walkers. The Riot Gear Zombie includes a flip-action helmet and Maggie’s knife for head-stabbing action, while the Gas Mask Zombie features removable gas mask to expose skull. Pairing these two armored walkers together forms a threat like none the survivors have ever known! (each sold separately) THE DIXON BROTHER 2-PACK Two badass, backwoods, rebel yelling redneck brothers thrust against an unyielding onslaught of ravenous undead. Both original Atlanta survivors, Daryl and Merle Dixon have proven time and again, blood is thicker than brain matter! Family reunions can be a bitter sweet pill to swallow, especially in a world inhabited by The Walking Dead! Both of these highly detailed figures for this much anticipated 2-pack feature the exact likeness of the characters from the show, using a 3D scan of actors themselves. The Daryl Dixon figure comes 20 points of articulation, crossbow, hunting knife, fire axe, pick axe, and prison keys. The Merle Dixon figure is re-armed and ready for action with 20 points of articulation, prosthetic arm with bayonet, assault rifle, pistol, and knife.
If any of you guys want the Daryl figure, my suggestion is to pre-order these now because he'll surely shoot up in price not long after release.
Season 3: Not really sure, the whole "insanity" plot felt too random and awkward. Morgan episode was great though.
I liked the insanity thing because it makes sense in that kind of world that they live in. It also showed that he still had his humanity. It made a nice contrast as well for the people who don't go somewhat insane are most likely going to become psychopaths. Which would be Rick Vs Governor.

I still don't have a fucking clue why nobody is bothering to use the riot gear at the prison, shit would be practically impenetrable by walkers.
I still don't have a fucking clue why nobody is bothering to use the riot gear at the prison, shit would be practically impenetrable by walkers.
It probably makes you considerably slower. If you were cornered they could also get under the helmet and you'd be screwed then.
why do people always love calling out the walking dead franchise with racism. seriously. if you think it's racist that something happens to minority character, or a minority character does something, you're being racist by looking at the person as their race and not a normal fucking character.
because it's set outside of atlanta, a city with over 50% black people, yet there are fairly few black characters in the show (and for a long time, the only black character was called t-dog for fucks sake)
because it's set outside of atlanta, a city with over 50% black people, yet there are fairly few black characters in the show (and for a long time, the only black character was called t-dog for fucks sake)
Really? are you being serious? only racists dwell on shit like that
so i'm racist for saying that the amount of black people on the show is much smaller than it should be considering the geographic location?...
so i'm racist for saying that the amount of black people on the show is much smaller than it should be considering the geographic location?...
I dunno about you but I see a fuck load of black walkers with over 50% of the people in Atlanta black, it would make sense for there to be alot of dead black folk ?
Yeah, because that's the main aspect you would want to get right. Not really.
so i'm racist for saying that the amount of black people on the show is much smaller than it should be considering the geographic location?...
You're racist for implying that that in itself is racist.

people who are so afraid of people being racist have looked at every single fucking thing and been able to nitpick as to why it's racist why is maggie going after the asian only??? RACIST why was merle a jerk to tdog??? RACIST why did [sp]jenner convince jaqui to[/sp]to stay behind??? RACIST why is the spoiler tag, WHURCH MURNS TO SPOIL, AKA RUIN, BLACK, fuckin racist garry tl;dr accusing the show of racism is stupid and you should feel bad for doing it
why was merle a jerk to tdog??? RACIST
uhm that IS the reason he was a jerk to him
What the fuck, people Everyone's saying that season 2 was good now, have you guys forgotten how this thread was like an angry mob with pitchforks and torches after every single episode? Everyone was hating that season, even after the [sp]barn with sofia episode, it was great but everyone realized it didn't make the rest of the season suck less.[/sp] Now everyone is saying it was ok or even great just for the sake of it, or even worse, just to say that "season 2 was great this one sucked ass!" simply because they're mad at the finale
Agreed, Season 1 was damn fine but short, Season 2 was hit and miss, Season 3 is fantastic, especially the first half (as in mid-finale). It can be acceptable to believe that the finale was anti-climatic but don't judge the whole season because of it.
Season 1: The feeling of waking up in a abandoned world you're not used to, not being able to predict what will happen. That part in the pilot where Rick looks inside some old farm house and sees an entire family with their heads blown off before getting the horse, that was some major feels man. Season 2: Started off great with the same feel as Season 1 before starting to lose it, got stuck on the same plot device for several episode before finally moving on. Season 3: Not really sure, the whole "insanity" plot felt too random and awkward. Morgan episode was great though.
Season 3 was about how a certain period after the initial hysteria, things end up in a state of chaos and anarchy, it becomes a war of the people rather than the zombies.

Merle's episode was the best of the season though
Merle's episode was the best of the season though
For me i have to say [sp]Morgan's[/sp] episode was the best.

I wish they didn't play the actual tracks over the actor's singing. It kinda ruins it.
At first I was honestly disappointed that [sp]season 3 didn't wrap up the prison arc[/sp] But then I remembered [sp]how much they'd left out from the comics, and how well that could be developed into another season[/sp] I mean little things like [sp]Tyreese's gym scene[/sp] or [sp]Glen and Maggie's wedding[/sp] and of course [sp]Rick's "we ARE the walking dead" speech[/sp] This is what I think should happen in season 4: [sp]It should start out about a year after the events of season 3 (since that's how long they're in the prison in the comics, even before the Woodbury arc), since then Hershel's been growing crops, the prison's been rebuilt and its all cleaned out safe and sound. Meanwhile the Governor, Martinez and Rasta (whats his name seriously) stumble upon the national guard base (with the tank) and another group of hardnuts (could be Randall's) which the Governor forceably takes control of. They return to Woodbury and train up or whatever for the REAL final showdown, involving the tank and everyone dieing. Plus since it's like a year later, the prison group think that the Governor threat is gone, so they are taken by surprise[/sp]
season 4 should focus on carl backtracking to find out why he ruined christmas and what he can do to fix it
