i believe there exists a wikipedia app you can download for an iphone that you can get an offline version for, where it downloads a fucking magnitude of the information on wikipedia onto your iphone. As long as you could keep the iphone charged that'd be useful.

It also matters if the wikipedia hardcopy would contain the images or not. Without them the file size would be significantly smaller, but a lot of Wikipedia articles depend heavily on the photos themselves so there'd be a few problems with that.

I never really understood how exactly the zombie virus would spread, given it's in the Walking Dead universe. Sure, you have zombies catching people by surprise, but it's not like 1 zombie kills 1 person, 2 zombies get up, no, that 1 zombie just stays there and eats the person and is easily disposed of. The military realistically would make easy work of zombies imo. Tanks would be the most effective, impenetrable and can go through hordes quite easily (with the addition of machine guns)

I doubt fuel would be that big of an issue considering tanks on the battlefield don't have a constant supply of fuel. Ammo being limited to the military? with our defense spending? pfft. I'm sure the military would start shooting in the head once they realized shooting them doesn't do much but make them recoil.
20 military men with assault rifles should be able to take down a sizeable zombie force but like you said, it relies a lot on everyone being a dumbfuck. Oh well, if it were to ever happen in real life, people are so genre-savvy that everyone would be having fun with it :V
