It's fun reading through the old threads and laughing at all the predictions and theories.
I fucking love the Gov. I'm totally fine with having episodes dedicated to him. David Morrisey is fantastic and while I wish the whole prison arc wrapped up last season, I'm stoked his character is still alive.
Oh hey WD is back on my birthday
tyreese gets swarmed by zombies in that trailer. Bullshit if he survives that. I still miss Axyl. That guy was funny.
I miss Axel too, but [sp] honestly, the way he died was brilliant. One of the most shocking deaths in the series for me because it just comes OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE. [/sp]
I'm still pissed that he didn't get to finish his story.
I saw it coming somehow, don't know if anyone else did
Both versions of his death were unexpected and I wish they hadn't happened :c
[sp]Axel was one of my favorite characters. Goddamnit, just when character development started happening and shit.[/sp] Anyway,COMIC SPOILERS[sp]I accidentally found out how Glenn dies in the comics[/sp] Pls don't make that happen in the show, oh god no
oh yeah, remember that time where that bastard rang the alarm and let a load of zombies in? I was confused because everyone was acting like carol died.... So i looked it up and.... [sp]Found out loads about baseball bats, barb wire, favourite characters.. [/sp]I didn't realy want to know about this stuff. I JUST WANTED ONE SNIPPET OF INFO!! ONE!!! *cries* .. Ah well, the comic books are different enough from the tv series anyway for it not to be absolute. For all we know; carl could die of alcohol poisoning in the next season and one of the redshirts could become emperor. Who knows?

Pretty big spoilers, so don't click on them if you aren't that far into the comics.
I hope the show gets more brutal honestly. It's AMC for christ's sake, less censorship.
I don't think they could kill (COMIC SPOILER) [sp] Glenn [/sp] like they did in the comics. Might be a bit too brutal for television.
Well they [sp] showed stomping in season 3 [/sp] If anything they could do it offscreen.
so theres talk of a new threat. In a set video for season 4 Lauren Cohan aka Maggie [sp] said "It's not the walkers, it's not even the humans, it's something potentially more dangerous". NOW, The Gov. also said this in one of his interviews, and we've seen pictures of people with bandanas over their faces. It could potentially be a airborne agent affecting people. [/sp]
One problem i see with the walking dead is; how the fuck can you loose to the zombies? They're slow and the person's gotta die to change (as opposed to a food/water/airborn variant that changes them instantly) I mean: the only way that zombies would spread in the first place would be because of someone infected dying unexpectedly whilst near lots of survivors. Zombies get defeated by fences. How can you possibly loose to an enemy who's defeated by fences? You could probably clear an entire city by driving in with a steel cage, attracting zombies with noise whilst sitting inside that cage, poking at the skulls that come to the cage with something long and pointy. i can understand how humanity would be defeated by zombies from other films... but not the walking dead. The walking dead zombie virus would realy just put everyone in fortified houses and make everyone more weary of old people.
Isn't the problem that they form hordes, which will absolutely fuck up your fence?
Isn't the problem that they form hordes, which will absolutely fuck up your fence?
Chain-link shit, maybe. But against shit like the Apartheid Wall, humanity is pretty much invulnerable [t]http://www.dissidentvoice.org/Articles9/089qalqiliyawall.jpg[/t] Second pic for scale [t]http://www.stl-psc.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Picture-031.jpg[/t]
Chain-link shit, maybe. But against shit like the Apartheid Wall, humanity is pretty much invulnerable
Shingeki no Walking Dead.

I understand what you mean and all, but most of the time the zombies manage to succeed due to human error, or human sabotage.

In the Walking Dead world, zombie media doesn't exist. No one was prepared for it. Anyone strong or lucky enough to survive for a while have a much better chance, but by then, the walkers aren't the main threat. Starvation and other desperate humans would be the worst part then.
More spoiler info from season 4: Judith: [sp] Judith's days might be numbered according to this interview http://www.tvguide.com/News/Kecks-Exclusives-Walking-1068364.aspx [/sp] Kirkman is writing episode 3 and 9, the premiere and episode 9 will be the closet the show has ever gotten to a direct adaptation of the comics. Herschel: [sp] Might die, theres a set joke going on, and pictures of his costume being bloodier.[/sp] Possible gov spoilers [sp] People are talking about a tank being on set, and hearing a loud BOOM. Theres also rumors of a big attack on the prison around the same time Hesrchel news broke out. So we may still get the big attack on the prison. [/sp] The new guy [sp] Some are saying he may be the inside man for the Gov. (Riley I think is his name, was standing watch infront of big lots and said TY! when he was getting surrounded) [/sp]
Again: i don't understand how you can loose to zombies when you're in a prison. Only a lack of food could drive someone out, not a lack of "safety". A Prison is better than a castle. A: you can set guards to kill the zombies as they get to the fence before they accumulate. B: even if they get past the fence in a horde; no amount of zombies are going to be able to pass the steel bar gates that are everywhere in that prison.
Kirkman is writing episode 3 and 9, the premiere and episode 9 will be the closet the show has ever gotten to a direct adaptation of the comics.
i'm sure that title will always belong to the pilot.

Get rid of the last of the Lori and Shane relationship bullshit[/sp]
Does anyone have the audio, where I think a lot of people basically orgasmed over it when it was shown on an episode? It was like, the synthesizer, or something. I forget. Agh.
and episode 9 will be the closet the show has ever gotten to a direct adaptation of the comics.
There has to be a reason why he's saying that Something big, right? I hope it doesn't include vampire bats
There has to be a reason why he's saying that Something big, right? I hope it doesn't include vampire bats
Something very big, I'm trying to think timeline wise of what could possibly happen around that episode. It's the first episode after the mid-season finale it seems. So that may mean the mid-season finale is a cliff hanger. Purely opinion on what I think the potential mid-season finale cliff hanger could be is: *comic spoilers* [sp] The prison attack with the rumored tank being on set. or even the aftermath of the prison attack from the mid-season finale. [/sp] Though apparently more info on season 4: [sp] After the attack on the prison the group splits up, instead of going to the greene farm, they're at a church. Theres local talk about a church being blocked off in some county. If this is true, then episode 10~ is likely to follow the storyline similar to what happens in the comic counterpart after the group split up. [/sp] comic spoiler [sp] Was trying to be vague, but Abe and them might find one of the groups[/sp]
Thank you plenty. @ Maestro
