I'm still secretly hoping that it's going to be (COMIC SPOILERS) [sp] Daryl. He pretty much took over Tyreese's role in the comics, and I think that his character really has no where to go at this point other than just continuing to be that cool guy with a crossbow. I also hope that Beth ends up taking Lori's place and Judith is killed because I'm a blood thirsty asshole who likes the pain of seeing characters I like die. I really want to see that point in the comics where Rick and Carl are wandering around alone on the show too. [/sp]
Daryl "The woman i sort of have feelings for was removed from the group without me being told about it" Dixon?
They'll think of something.

"Sort of have feelings for"
Remember how pissed off Daryl got last season when they thought Carol died? They've had months to develop their relationship since then, imagine how he would feel now.

lol, governor looks so cheesy with that coat in front of that house fire. he looks like a saturday morning cartoon villain
And the interviews stating they were going to have two flashback episodes for the gov pre-season.
But yea I didn't think about [sp] him looking back to his potential new army. [/sp]
If we are going to have flashbacks especially for 2 episodes i'm hoping that we get to see some of the governor before the outbreak

Did anyone mention Glenn was in [sp]cell no. 100? Possible reference?[/sp]
I don't know about you but I found [sp]the Gov reveal a bit anticlimatic. Also what happened to the beard?[/sp]
Class episode. Definitely the best of the season so far. Hershal, man. What a fucking hero.
Am I the only one questioning why [sp]they waited for the fence to collapse before finally mowing them all down when they could've done that while distracting them with the pigs 2 episodes ago[/sp]
Episode 5 was fucking brutal holy shit.

[sp]My guess was that Rick thought they wouldn't need to resort to that due to the noise it would make. It's good to see him pick up a firearm again.[/sp]
The [sp]Rick and Carl[/sp] scene was so fucking awesome.

I thought he was trying to impersonate Sephiroth.
I got bored of the show and haven't bothered to watch it again this season until last night when I watched all of season 4 so far
I like bob, hope he stays
Hershel has been my favorite character since his infinite ammo shotgun moment, like, holy christ he's head and shoulders above everybody else in practically every way.
Badass? Check.
Smart? Check.
Human? Check.
Nice? Check.
I'm pretty sure he's had the most character development in the series so far, too. He had the whole thing on the farm, the challenging of his beliefs, the loss and gain of family, the friction within the group-and being one of the few things that held the group together-and has just had practically an entire episode dedicated to how good of a person he is.
If I can accurately guess when I'll likely lose interest and stop watching the show, it'll probably be when/if Hershel.
I really hope he doesn't, though. It'll be sad and depressing, but then you lose all the other benefits of Hershel being in the series. He's like a fucking anchor for half the cast.
[sp] I really thought Hershel was going to die this episode, when someone had died the next cell down and he left the door open I thought that was it[/sp]
[sp]Anybody think that the Governor released the flu?[/sp]
[sp]Anybody think that the Governor released the flu?[/sp]
The Gov invented the flu.
Comic spoilers [sp] if Hershel dies the same way in the show as he did in the comics, I'll fucking lose it. It was just so quick. [/sp]
Comic Spoiler/TV Speculation [sp] Wouldn't that also involve beth dying? I recall him dying because his son died. Whom doesn't exist in the TV show[/sp]
[sp]Governor's probably going to kill Hershel next episode and beat the living fuck out of Michonne, I fear.[/sp]

Hershel was pretty much the center of morality/wisdom for the group in the comics up until his death. That's why now I fear he's going to die next episode; [sp]The Governor kills him in the comics. I can see the Governor, in future episodes, taking the role of Negan, almost, which means we'll hopefully get a badass duel to the death between him and Rick in the S4 finale.[/sp]

Don't read unless you're up to date with the comics:
[sp]He won't be taking the role of Negan, his character is far too different for that to even happen. I can definitely see them doing around 8 seasons so we get to that point and ending it around there though. There's no way they'd make the Governor the main villain of the entire show, especially when you have Negan. And right now the comic has Rick and his army about to fight Negan, I really doubt they'd just skip out on that.[/sp]

Comic Spoilers [sp]Jesus christ that would be heart breaking, the way it happened in the comics was heartbreaking, but that would be stomach churning.[/sp]
[sp]Was The Governor burning Woodbury in that promo video? I wonder what he has planned.[/sp]
[editline]11th November 2013[/editline]
[sp]Also do we think The Governor was feeding the zombies to bring the fences down?[/sp]
Check out what I just got!

As good as it would be, I doubt it'll go down the same as in the comics.
[sp]too many people are like 'waah if my boyfriend daryl dies i'm going to punch my tv' for them to actually kill off that many characters and in a way that's as brutal and undignified as in the comics[/sp]

Hah that reminds me, I wish that they had all changed into prison jumpsuits in the TV series as they did the comic.
I think Hershel is more likely to die like [sp]Dale[/sp] than [sp]Hershel[/sp].
The Hershel in the TV show has evolved to the point he wouldn't just give up if put in the same situation as his TV counterpart. He's pretty against giving up because of grief. The guy who plays Hershel was told he'd die way back in Series 2. But then the guy who played Dale quit so I think they probably swapped them round.
[editline]11th November 2013[/editline]
No death has quite hit me as hard as Dales a few years ago (long time ago hence lack of spoiler tag).
It was so unexpected and he was such a solid character. The actor fucked up on that one. I heard he regretted it and tried to change his mind but it was too late.
It's really hard not to click on Comic spoilers.
aaaaa

I'm loving the massive Rick spoiler on the cover of Compendium One

Spoilers for the comic yes, but for the TV show no.

that's the point
say someone wants to start from issue one and picks up the first compendium - they're gonna be like [sp]"why the fuck is rick missing a hand?"[/sp]
its just a dick move by the cover artists imo
I also cannot get over how bad ass this track is.
