Well thats why I added the clause,
but just in case they want to butcher the canoncity of his name too

I'm gonna be hated for this, but this is why I like the show more than the comic (well the ones I read, which weren't many), the characters like the Governor and Shane, viewed as antagonists, are given more character than just "they're the bad guys, go kill em Rick". You get to see more about them and see their more human side.
You're right. You're so so right. I like it how Shane is pictured to have a more human side in him, or how the Governor kept [sp]Penny[/sp] even though he knew she wouldn't make it.
This show is great.
Oh Christ, I just had a thought.
[sp]Carol ends up with Martinez, they raid/attack the prison, and the Governor kills them before they kill Hershel/The kids/somebody people like. Rick will confront the governor, the governor will hand over the little girl. Then he looks at Rick, suggests he could be apart of the group. Then Rick goes through the "questions."[/sp]
I can actually see it now. Broken Governor laugh/crying like the "pirate" scene.
[sp]How many walkers have you killed? How many people have you killed? *bang*[/sp]
[editline]19th November 2013[/editline]
Episode title will be "Life of Brian" :suicide:
How many times do i have to tell people... ALL THIS IS A FLASHBACK MEANING [SP] CAROL CAN'T BE ANYWHERE NEAR THE GOVERNOR OR MARTINEZ [/SP] Like are you even watching the same show that we are?
[editline]19th November 2013[/editline]
I don't think this has been explained in the show, only in the comics/novels.
Surely those who didn't read them don't care though?
Who is Brian Herriot? Something from the comics I assume, can someone clarify in a simple way I can understand?
How many times do i have to tell people... ALL THIS IS A FLASHBACK MEANING [SP] CAROL CAN'T BE ANYWHERE NEAR THE GOVERNOR OR MARTINEZ [/SP] Like are you even watching the same show that we are?
well there were a few days between [sp]carol leaving[/sp] and [sp]the governor being outside the prison[/sp] so it's entirely possible that [sp]carol bumped in to martinez[/sp]
i guess that little thing at the end of the last episode is the governor after the events of the most recently aired episode~
[editline]19th November 2013[/editline]
so i do not know why you are screaming the air from your lungs
:eng101:
Oh, and watch the latest episode of The Talking Dead. David Morrissey is a guest on it, and as usual is very funny.
btw when the Governor was looking at that wall with all the writing did anyone else see "Negan?"
[editline]s[/editline]
daw shit nvm it looks like it says megan looking at that picture
It's bugging me how many people I've heard so far bashing the latest episode because it was "boring." This show is often guilty of horribly exhausting pace that hardly takes the story and/or the character development to new heights, but this episode was one of the few exceptions. Only thing bugging me was the [sp]part where the Gov has to convince the girl to run to him. They were on a flat road and there wasn't really any impending sense of danger even with the oncoming horde approaching. It would've been a lot better if they cut out that scene and just showed the trust-building with the zombie pit.[/sp]
I don't know how to feel towards the governor now. He seems so broken and I nearly feel sorry for him, but then I remember he's a bit of a psychopath. I don't know how to feel.
You hear boring every time an episode isn't just smashing zombies 24/7 and someone isn't dieing.
You hear BAAAAW anytime a character gets more than ten minutes of screen time an episode.
You hear WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY anytime something isn't exactly like the comic frame for frame.
Welcome to entitled fandom.

Nice title.
One thing TWD always nails is the music

The part where [sp]The Governor is standing in the burning Woodbury with this song is probably the scene that will stick with me most when the series ends. Fucking awesome. [/sp]
As we can see by this picture, Carol was already a crazy bitch in season 3.

If you really want to see a big (potential) spoiler, look for the New Zealand trailer for Sunday's episode.
It's got me hyped!
I'm on my phone so I can't add it atm.

Found this really cool drawing of Rick. So young,so innocent.
Did you guys see the NZ promo for the next episode.

Holy fucking shit. [sp]the tank at the end has got me moist. I guess we're not going to see him turn into the good guy after all! I think last episode was just a huge curve ball to make us feel for both sides. [/sp]
I'm really pissed off at the writers now, though. [Comic spoiler][sp]Because now when The Governor is eventually killed by Lilly, I'm gonna be really fucking sad.[/sp]
Reminder, mark significant comic spoilers!
edit: I marked that one for you gmodfan.
Ahaha I just saw this.

Carol is awesome
The piano piece from the chess scene. Was really pleasantly surprised to hear it:

Next episode is going to be so fucking good.
I think you mean the episode after next episode.
No, I mean the next episode. That's not to say that the mid-season finale won't be great, but I really think they're onto something awesome here. Plus, I really dug the last episode and this one looks even better as a Governor episode.
Sucks that that pretty much shows the gov hasn't changed.
Really hope they dont do what the comics did. If they did then [sp]poor judith[/sp] (< comic spoilers)

Probably why we haven't seen a lot of [sp]time between Rick and Judith, won't be as horrible.[/sp] (comic spoilers)

Judith has had more screentime, and about as many lines as T-Dog

Pretty sure that was the point.
