I liked this episode
Comic spoilers inbound. [sp]A bunch of people are going to die next episode. I think after the mid season finale we're going to see the likes of Abraham and maybe even parts of the cannibal story arc. Although someone will have to take over for Dale.[/sp]
the governor's new group reminds me of rick's group in season one. makes you wonder how things would end up if [sp]one of the characters did what the governor did to someone in the originalcamp[/sp]
Season 4 promo from a month ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pfiSmzn5GA cough cough
I think a lot of people didn't understand what the Governor episodes were really about. They weren't trying to show that he had ~changed his ways~, because obviously he hasn't. It just shows how much of a connection he had with his family and the two episodes of him getting to know this new family show that he never was all bad, really. Yes, he does terrible things to survive, some of which may seem psychopathic to many, but his intentions were always noble: protect Lilly and Megan. It was evident in the first half of "Live Bait" that he pretty much didn't want to live anymore, or at least was in the process of making that decision. Lilly and Megan gave him a reason to keep going, something to fight for, and after [sp] burning down Woodbury [/sp], the prison would be a perfect place for shelter. The reason he [sp] killed off all those leaders [/sp], like I said, wasn't because he WANTED to. He knew that the only way he could get them to a better place was to take over and do it himself because this new group was unstable. I can't wait to see what happens next week. Maybe I'll be proven wrong, I don't know. Maybe it'll be as disappointing as the season 3 finale was. Regardless, I'm still really excited.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Too bad 90% of TWD's fans will go "wow see governor is 100 percent evil fuck him omg daryl ughuu~~"
Man, can't wait for [sp]a bunch of characters to be killed.[/sp]
Season 4 promo from a month ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pfiSmzn5GA cough cough
Think it was just a promo for the season, not actually in the show.
Season 4 promo from a month ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pfiSmzn5GA cough cough
seeing as how carol and some unknown are there, i don't think this was meant to be fully canon or a sneak peek.
Well. Apparently Maggie is going to be on Talking Dead next week. You know what that most likely means.
Judging from that preview trailer or whatever it is posted above.. [sp]looks like Daryl isn't there?[/sp]
Well. Apparently Maggie is going to be on Talking Dead next week. You know what that most likely means.
chris hardwick is going to be talking down to the floor so he doesn't pop a stiffy during the middle of the show?

Now, is that him trying to deny that he actually DOES want to, or that he has changed and is only doing what's best for people in the camp? I guess the conversation he has with Mitch counters that though, clearly being jealous of his brother and wanting to be a hero of sorts again. A power thing. He hasn't changed and just wants control. The new 'family' he has is oohing really new to him. They're just a collective Penny.[/sp] [editline]25th November 2013[/editline]
the governor's new group reminds me of rick's group in season one. makes you wonder how things would end up if [sp]one of the characters did what the governor did to someone in the originalcamp[/sp]
The first Governor episode reminded me of that. So many parallels. Rick was disheveled, confused, looking for his family/hope...
seeing as how carol and some unknown are there, i don't think this was meant to be fully canon or a sneak peek.
[sp]no unknown, sasha, and carol could just come back, so i wouldnt be so sure[/sp]
-goddamnit it, Autodesknoob-
Man, I wanted (both show AND comic spoilers) [sp]Martinez to die the way he does in the comics. Imagine the Governor getting drunk together with Martinez accidentaly gives a hint that he plans to invade the prison using the tank etc. Martinez runs off to alarm both his and Ricks group, but doesnt get very far until the gov runs him over with the RV, strangles him to death and then leaving him to reanimate on the field.[/sp]

Seeing next week's promo has made me the most excited I've ever been for a Walking Dead episode in a long time. [sp]Governor's 'bout to go Game of Thrones on their asses.[/sp]
OH HELL NO
I doubt anything will happen, [sp]as you can see a gas canister next to Hershel, as well as a bunch of bodies being burnt behind him. If I remember right, he also drops his gun and surrenders when the Governor points his gun at him. Most likely being taken hostage or something like that.[/sp] Not sure if anyone has mentioned it already or not, though. And I don't know if this qualifies as spoilers, i'll be on the safe side: [sp]It would seem that the Governor is being torn between settling down and forgetting the past, and letting the old self overpower his new self. Whether he sees a new opportunity for revenge, or if it's simply the new family that hes found, I think his evil side won, and now he only seeks revenge, rather than trying to forget the past and moving on, rather than him simply being evil through and through[/sp]
Two whole episodes of The Darryl Dixon Show without Darryl?? Tumblr/Facebook must be having riots by now
I felt bad for [sp]Pete.[/sp] Such a classic [sp]here's a nice dude who's just there to get killed.[/sp]
Well. Apparently Maggie is going to be on Talking Dead next week. You know what that most likely means.
It means she's gonna talk about the show. She's been on talking dead several times. She would have been a special guest if she would die.
It means she's gonna talk about the show. She's been on talking dead several times. She would have been a special guest if she would die.
So I'm guessing it'll be [sp]Herschel[/sp] then since there's supposed to be a special guest?
I felt bad for [sp]Pete.[/sp] Such a classic [sp]here's a nice dude who's just there to get killed.[/sp]
[sp]As soon as he made his sense of morality known it was obvious he was dead, like Dale or T-Dog[/sp]
It's also funny how whenever they give a "major minor" character some lines you know they are destined to die that episode.
I was really dissapointed when Martinez said that [sp]Shumpert died[/sp] I mean he was such an interesting character and then they just finish him off like that...
Man I really hope its not just [sp]Herchal[/sp] to die next week. The show needs a big shake up like the comics had after the prison assault.
I was really dissapointed when Martinez said that [sp]Shumpert died[/sp] I mean he was such an interesting character and then they just finish him off like that...
Taken from the TWD Wiki, "Martinez, we got biters." I think this might have been one of the only lines he had and I don't even remember him saying it.
So... The zombie mud pit was pointless after all?
Taken from the TWD Wiki, "Martinez, we got biters." I think this might have been one of the only lines he had and I don't even remember him saying it.
That's the thing isn't it? I was so waiting for them to give him some character development, to explain why he was so quiet.
As long as Rick and or Carl are living I'am going to keep watching spoilers [sp]they won't die[/sp] Also may we pay our respects to [sp]Rasta Fasta and Mexican Darth Maul[/sp] RIP
