I can't be the only one who [sp]Thought and hoped Daryl was done for, right before he went zombie shield mode[/sp]
[sp]Man they really rushed the whole governor's crew agreeing to go to the prison with him thing. "hey want to go murder a bunch of innocent people even though most of you have probably never used a gun before and you've known me a week" "yeah sure"[/sp] [sp]a lot of things were rushed actually: Megan dying, the governor's fight, the lesbian chick never getting a scene after her girlfriend was shot, michone teleporting to kill the governor, the fact they run down the fences and start blowing holes in the place theyre trying to take over just to add drama[/sp] [editline]2nd December 2013[/editline] good episode though
[sp]What I dont get is how dense the Gov's people were. They wanted to live at the prison, yet they dont listen to Rick's plea at all, and have no problem tearing down the fences. [/sp]
Every mother on TWD is so retarded jesus fuck.
This episode just makes even more irritated at how the US makes TV even more. The series starts again in February. Why not wait a bit longer and just call it Season 5? We don't have breaks halfway through a series here in there UK, so maybe I'm just missing something. There's a chance [sp]Judith[/sp] isn't dead right? That blood could have come from anywhere.
Also Bob played no part in the season whatsoever, he may as well have not been there. Hopefully they do something with him in the next half.

Why not show the season as a whole, instead of splitting it in two?
I would like to thank all the Stormtroopers for their part in the making of this episode.
[sp]I totally thought the tank would blow up the bus. It's nice that the tank wasn't just for show like in the comic.[/sp]
Holy fuck what an episode. I know I am a little late but man I was not emotionally prepared for that episode. [sp] I knew from the start it would escalate and a lot of people would die but holy fuck that was so God damn intense. [/sp]
Welp See you guys in February
I really enjoyed this episode. The only thing that was out of place for me were [sp]Lilly's scenes during the battle. The way she appears at the start and then near the end are just too convenient. I loved Rick's speech. Sad it didn't work and poor, poor Hershel. He was so much better as the elder of the group than Daleface could ever hope. Bulletproof zombie was stupid but if Arnold in Total Recall can do it why not Daryl?[/sp] I'm indifferent towards Daryl but he was pretty cool in this episode. Also Beth, that is not how you are supposed to shoot a gun.
Does anyone have the preview for next half of the season? It was promised on talking dead but I didnt watch. Never mind found it. SPOILERS [editline]2nd December 2013[/editline]
just noticed this [sp]the first shot that the governor gets after killing herschel is from Carl, not Rick[/sp] also, after [sp]the governor finishes Megan, its clearly obvious that his motives were forgotten and came back to vengeance[/sp]
Man I am going to have the watch the second half of the episode again. There were a lot of really tiny neat things like that in it. [sp] Basically from having Carl be the one who got the shot from the 50 yards or what ever, he probably really could of shot the Gov before everything went south. Damn. [/sp]
[sp]The thread title holds true now more than ever...[/sp]
It feels like we haven't seen much of Glenn lately, he's an awesome character. I hope he becomes even more badass and has another growing-stronger-moment like when he killed the zombie in governors chamber.
I feel like the only point of breaking up the season is to have 2 "WOW CRAZY ENDING" episodes instead of 1, with the mid-season finale. They've obviously done work on part 2, as seen in the promo. It's probably a combination of that and some corporate shit we don't have access to about how it somehow increases viewers or something.

can't wait for the direct adaptation of issue 50 in 4x09
Yeah but a) he wasn't in the tank and b) why did his crew keep on going even though they fucked up the place they were trying to take
Mitch was a fucked up guy himself. He didn't even care that the Gov killed his brother and has no problems killing for his own survival. Some people like Tara, I'am sure did run away from the fight.
Emotionally jarring. Great episode. [editline]2nd December 2013[/editline] The governor was right when he said [sp]Michonne wouldn't kill him.[/sp]
Even on repeated viewings, the episode still holds up. I was afraid I was getting too excited last night. Is it just me or are the mid-season finales always better than the actual finales so far?
Jesus film, how many times have you watched this episode now?
[sp]I miss Dale.[/sp]
While it was a good episode overall I'm slightly disappointed that the Daryl train now has more orgasm-fuel Honestly he hasn't done much this season to deserve staying alive, he's had almost 0 character development and very few lines. But we get to see him in the mid-finale being a badass. Apparently rotten flesh is bullet proof from fairly high caliber automatic fire
I feel like I'm one of the few people who don't care about Daryl at all. Honestly, I wouldn't mind one bit if he was to die. People go all crazy about him for some reason. I don't get it :v: Enjoyed the episode.
[sp]I miss Dale.[/sp]
I wonder[sp]who is going to be the next old guy of the group. I don't recall there being any in the recent issues of the comic.[/sp]
I wonder[sp]who is going to be the next old guy of the group. I don't recall there being any in the recent issues of the comic.[/sp]
there was [sp]that old fart that initially ran alexandria before giving rick control when that huge fucking herd attacked, but in between the prison and that, second oldest dude would be abraham i think?[/sp]
I watched the finale last night after missing it and I gotta say it was probably the best one so far I hope they keep it up
I think Daryl's cool but not hillbilly Jesus like some others think.
Awesome episode. Really sad about [sp]the death of Hershel. He was the coolest old man in the show :( . I mean I know it was going to happen, but when he smiled a bit after Rick's speech I was going NOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo00000000000000000oooooooooooooooo[/sp]
Dale was way cooler.
