I literally cannot wait till February, that fucking episode was, jesus
Honestly they botched his character in the show.
If anything he was more annoying than he should've been
*looks at shane*
*makes a funny face*

A TV channel here is replaying all of the old TWD's and I found their promotion pretty funny

Anyone else bothered when [sp] the Govs men just strolls on past the bus Rick clearly went behind for cover then having him attack the Gov who was all the way in the back. [/sp]

I actually completely forgot about him and was kinda surprised when he jumped onto the [sp]governor[/sp], so I wouldn't be surprised with what was going on they forgot too.
[sp] If the Exprods were smart they'd split Carol Daryl Sasha and Tyreese off into the spin-off and let the rest continue on their way. [/sp]
Anyone else really into the back story of the whole Apocalypse like when the outbreak happened, it fantasies me I just wish there was more story to it in the show, like how are other states doing, is the Government still functioning, has the military officially split up into little sections.
And also you know how when they [sp]went to the medical center for supplies due to the virus, did they ever find out who was on the radio[/sp]
[sp]do you think it was perhaps the group the Gov found??[/sp]
TV speculation:
[sp]I'm guessing the foreshadowing with Glenn and Maggie and the photo earlier in the season means they'll be split up for a while.[/sp]

I'm pretty sure it was just a recording somehow still looping for months.
[sp]When Carol's girls shoot the attackers, it totally caught me by surprise. Brutal.[/sp]
I burst out laughing at that
And now dear children, we take a minute to remember dear old Dale who [sp]died 26 episodes ago.[/sp]

You know who's death was totally underwhelming, I'm sorry to the hardcore fans that I'm writing a post with a little venom but it could have been so much more, the whole thing felt boneheaded. It could have been a lot more poetic ([sp]they tried with repeating history with the little girl but he goes and pops her in the head like it's nothing and returns to going full retard and wrecking the joint). Alternatively it would have been so much more powerful if the Gov and his Borg followers took over the prison with much more casualties on both sides, with the remainder of the main characters of Rick's tribe fleeing in the bus. Once the Gov took over the prison, his girlfriend (forgot her name, completely forgettable character) should of then returned with her dead daughter to witness the carnage that is partly responsible for her child's demise (that and being a shit caretaker). Attracted by the noise the zombies begin to flood the place and the Gov's cronies begin to panic and shoot without discipline. The girlfriend approaches him to reveal the dead daughter, repeating history with his daughter (implied) and he breaks down, she is also in complete desolation. The zombies close in on them all, everyone in panic shooting except the two lovers. The Gov falls to his kness, he tries to make sense of the consequences of his actions to her. She is mute and draws closer to him as he speaks. A knife is drawn and stabs him in his left eye, and moves down to his chest after the initial screams, manically thrusting the blade into his body. The zombies close in and finish them all off. [/sp]
I thought something like that would have been more poetic, not that I think that is exactly perfect. To be honest with you I just pulled that out my arse with little effort and I feel if things had panned out in a similar fashion I might have FELT more of a reaction to anything that happened. [sp] Hershall's death was cliche at best.[/sp]
The show is exactly that, a show. A guilty pleasure. I was still entertained none the less, can't wait for February.
Except that ending would be soooooo cliché

He even told Hershel [sp] when he asked about killing other people's daughters. "they're not my own". Thought it was that line that made Meghan's death intense.
So I like the way they did it more. [/sp]
comic spoilers: [sp] It's pretty obvious Judith isn't dead in the TV series. I think she should have died. It would've been so much better if it went like this: the little girls are taking care of her when a governor thug shows up with a weapon. They get scared and run away, leaving Judith behind. The thug stares at Judith, surprised and shocked that Rick's group not only had children, but a baby as well. Meanwhile we see a zombie aproaching the thug from behind and killing him, leaving Judith alone and defenseless. Later, the scene where Rick and Carl are looking for Judith comes up, but this time when the camera shows the carrier, we see a little bloodied arm coming from inside, and the zombie who killed the thug eating Judith (we don't see the corpse and it's all out of focus, I mean you can't show a baby being eaten on tv right? But you can imply it I guess). Then Rick breaks down and Carl goes batshit with the zombie exactly like in the show. The emotional impact would have been so much better that way, plus Judith doesn't play an important role in the series whatsoever, they are gonna get rid of her sooner or later. [/sp]
[sp]holy shit Megan's mom (Lilly or whatever the fuck her name is) is the worst parent ever except maybe Lori
YOU ARE IN A WORLD FULL OF ZOMBIES THAT CAN COME FROM ANYWHERE AT ANY MOMENT AND YOU ARE SITTING A HUNDRED FEET AWAY FROM YOUR KID NOT EVEN LOOKING AT HER
What kind of awful ass parent does this??? You're just ASKING for a mudman to get her. Dumbass.
Also where the fuck did michonne go, she was helping rick up and walking with him but when he got up the hill she had just disappeared[/sp]
Good episode regardless
I agree 100%. Watching that scene... "WATCH YOUR FUCKING KID GOD DAMMIT!!"
Honestly that part was so cheesy, you always know when something like that is going to happen because they've got the camera placed on it for 5 seconds, then someone does something and bam surprise walker
[sp]Probably the closest to the comic episode we've had since the season 1 premiere, I liked it a lot.[/sp]
It's been confirmed that there will be [sp]four[/sp] separate groups for at the least the start of the next 8 episodes.
Emotionally jarring. Great episode.
[editline]2nd December 2013[/editline]
The governor was right when he said [sp]Michonne wouldn't kill him.[/sp]
Nah, Michonne did. [sp]Lilly[/sp] just made sure.

So its
1-Rick, Carl
2-Maggie, Bob, Sasha
3-Daryl, Beth
4-Glenn and the Woodburites(?)
I probably need to rewatch it, but which group did Tyreese and Michonne end up with?
Also.

This man is a member of Martinez's camp in Season 4 of AMC's The Walking Dead.
RIP Man.

Tyrese is with some little kids and Michonne will likely join up with rick and carl
I just thought while watching this, has any zombie apocalypse story ever shown the apocalypse actually overcome? Society being rebuilt on top of the survivor's world?

that was pretty bad, not to mention [sp]governor's entire crew got wiped out, only tara and lily remain. also there was blood in the carrier, so someone who got all bloodied up during the battle took her, and it sure as shit wasn't the group of girls. my guess is daryl.[/sp]
so I'm still catching up with season 4, did I miss out on any governor pirate jokes

No shit sherlock I know what happened, I stated what SHOULD've happened to make the episode better with [sp]Judith dieing for real like in the comics. Don't tell me an empty carrier (which makes it obvious that she's alive) has more drama than a dead baby being eaten by a zombie in front of his father.[/sp]
