I just got back from Demon Dayz. It was fucking fantastic. De La Soul had a fantastic performance earlier in the day and Gorillaz were lit.
Also, I saw someone with a facepunch badge on their bag so hi to whoever that was

First hour and 15 minutes or so are all Humanz songs, after that it's a mixture of Gorillaz, Demon Days, Plastic Beach, and bonus tracks/unreleased Humanz stuff
What are everybody's opinions on The Fall? Seems like quite the contentious record.

It's great for what it is and fools like Anthony Fantano who trash it because it's not a masterpiece miss the point entirely. It was a side project done on an iPad while Albarn was on tour in America. It was also released for free. Really not fair to try and compare it to something like Demon Days or Plastic Beach, I don't know why people do.
It's got some really standout songs like Revolving Doors, Amarillo, and Bobby in Phoenix and the rest are to individual taste. I love Aspen Forest and think it's an overlooked gem, it's incredibly relaxing.
Wish I could go to the Philly show tonight. Are there any reliable live streams for these concerts?

They even played a song from The Fall (Revolving Doors), actually. Pretty cool to see them play lesser known songs like that.

That concert was insane, totally not what I expected. They pulled tons of songs from all their albums, with the smallest selection being Rhinestone Eyes and Stylo from Plastic Beach. No Charger or Let Me Out sadly but they started with M1A1 and ended with Don't Get Lost in Heaven/Demon Days which was amazing. I lost my voice singing along with Dare.
I'm really glad I stuck with Humanz, it's a great album. I always heard Gorillaz albums are growers, but that was never the case for me until this album so it really put me off.
But man I really turned around on it lately. pretty much listening to it all the time.
Also Ticker Tape's the best.

So I started listening to Gorillaz sometime this winter, and I listened to Humanz about 2 months ago (started from the first one, which, as it turned out, I owned as a kid). And I really disliked it? People seem to love it for some reason.
Strobelite is the only one I like, some songs are straight up annoying (Momentz), I feel no flow in the album whatsoever. What did you people think of it?
As a note, Plastic Beach is my favorite one, haven't listened to B-Side albums yet (got through half ot D-Sides because I love "Bull Murray" so much)

Bill Murray is awesome. I really disliked humanz too, except maybe shes my collar, charger and andromeda. Plastic beach is awesome cause it had just the necessary amount of coops, while humanz tend to lose it's focus way too soon since it must be real fucking hard to come up with something cohesive. Way too much yelling, strange digital noises, compared to plastic beach it's way less melodic.
Latin Simone is my favorite.
Strobelite looks to be the beginning of something, the Gorillaz account is making quips about what Murdoc's up to.

Anyone else listen to the new Super Deluxe Humanz songs yet? I feel like there's a few on there that really should of been on the actual album, stuff like Midnite Float and Duetz would of been great additions. And why on earth is the 2D special version of Carnival not on the main album?
Anyone been to any of the UK Humanz shows? I'm going to the Birmingham one tomorrow night and from what I've heard it should be titled the 'Demon Days' tour.
Went to the Amsterdam show, if the setlist is the same there's very few Humanz songs
good to hear. am seeing them tuesday and dont care for humanz
