Ah, yes, that was it, some later releases have it included.

That's pretty meta if so because from the looks of the music video (assuming it takes place after On Melancholy Hill) Daley is the last one to come to Plastic Beach.

Still one of my favourite Gorillaz tunes, and yes, i did get the cool shoeshine.

19-2000 is a pretty nice tune. But I find that the Soulchild Remix completely blows it out of the water. I'm glad it was put on the Gorillaz CD.

It was alright i guess, i liked the original more, but different strokes ey.
Cant wait to get my Noodle tattoo, ive had it planned for so long.
I just started listening to Demon Days finally, I'll do Plastic Beach in April then The Fall in May.
There's a pretty good chance I might like all of the songs on this album, though Dirty Harry's rap part feels a bit shoehorned in.
One song that a lot of people seem to look over when talking about Gorillaz song, and it's Snakes and Ladders:

A demo that was only heard as a snippet from Bananaz, it eventually evolved into Martina Topley-Bird's song Soldier Boy. Pretty good stuff.

Speaking of Gorillaz collaborations with other artists, there's also Nathan Haines' FM. More of a relaxing tune than what's usual for Gorillaz:

And Routine, which was made all the way back in phase 1 with Kid Koala.

More art was posted on Hewlett's instagram, this one might get this thread a little more alive with speculation.
Sorry for the huuuuuge bump, but here's some relevant news. Recording for the new album starts in September.

Heres the link to the others, he's updating in a pretty nice pace. https://www.instagram.com/hewll/
ive never been this hyped for music releases
So did this thread die because nobody liked the new album? I personally thought The Fall wasn't terrible, but absolutely not his best work. It was more dubby/electro than the Gorrilaz. It reminds me a lot of the Spacemonkeyz, who Damon Albarn himself actually had remix his entire "Gorrilaz" album, which they titled "Laika Come Home".
Also, anyone remember the last song on the self-titled "Gorrilaz" special edition album where instead of Deltron they had Ed Case doing his bit?
(managed to find it youtube)

Oh wait the Fall isn't a new album crap

The new album hasn't come out yet?
The new album hasn't come out yet?
Oh my god I am so stupid. I somehow thought "The Fall" was a new album because I had never listened to it before. I must have assumed that it was made in 2016 and just yeah, wow... Brainfart.
Thanks buddy
Del is awesome and the one thing I've always said about Gorillaz is that they need more solid rap in their songs. I love stuff like November Comes.
Dracula is my favourite Gorillaz track. Come at me.

Didn't MF Doom do that one?
Yeah November was one of my favorites off of Demon Days
Ya, I was just saying a bunch of things at the same time. I do also love MF Doom though.
Man I'm super hyped for this, saw them live during their world tour for Plastic Beach, really hope for another tour
i'm probably the only one who thinks artists performing live sound like garbage.. off key voices, different sounding notes/instruments, not playing the original 1:1 melodies..
as much as i love gorillaz, i can't stand a single minute of their live stuff :v:

Gorillaz('s?) live performances really vary in quality depending on the song. I love live performances of Melancholy Hill for example, but Shaun Ryder always messes up performances of DARE

MEGABUMP with a little content here. Audi appears to be taking some homage to Jamie Hewlett's art.

Speaking of, some new pictures were posted today. Art's picking up, as the recording should have started this week.

I would like to add that several pictures are in fact different parts of the same image, as seen in the images of 2D's feet and him on the piano. I'll figure out more later.
I don't know if you guys noticed or not but the official Gorillaz Youtube channel rereleased the videos for Clint Eastwood, Feel Good Inc, and 19-2000 about 2 months ago.
