Ahsoka is a teenager and not fully trained as of yet. Give her a break
In her final scene with the Council before she left, they said her trials were done and she could be knighted. She was 17 in her Final appearance in Clone Wars. She was Born in 37 BBY, and the Battle of Mandalore was a year after she left the Jedi which would be 19 BBY. so math
Isn't she like 16 in The Clone Wars? In Europe, the legal age is set around one's 18th birthday.
they're a society of warrior monks trained from childhood, who are fighters on the side of also being diplomats, mystics, wizards, healers and what have you. i'm not sure if "underage" padawans are even supposed to be on the front lines like they are during the Clone Wars, a little galaxy-wide debacle that challenged established rules.
Temple guards were made to look intimidating, and the saber pike thingy Is there to reflect that
i saw rogue one for a second time and one thing i really appreciate about THAT scene is [sp]how even though they showed Vader as a complete badass, his movement and fighting style was very faithful to how it is in the original trilogy films -- powerful but somewhat restrained. it makes Vader very cool without taking away from his menace in the originals.[/sp]
Temple guards were made to look intimidating, and the saber pike thingy Is there to reflect that
But it'd hardly look intimidating to actual jedi. It'd be like walking around with a sword that's too big for you to use. Yes, it's scary if you don't know how swords work, or you're in some kinda manga, but any master will know that you can't fight for shit with that sword. You just look like a dickhead or something.

Seeing Vader use the force to smash a Rebel-soldier in the roof and hold him there only to slice his gut open is probably the most satisfying thing I've seen in a while.
I'm actually hyped for the Han Solo solo film if Lando is a huge part of it. It'll be like some kinda sci fi Miami Vice.
Don't expect anything too exciting. Got to keep it PG13 to sell the kids toys
Rogue One was PG-13, and it was pretty mature.
I think Disney has shown they really want to experiment with the brand to avoid stagnation, Rogue One's success will probably push them towards more balanced movies in the future.
Rogue One was PG-13, and it was pretty mature.
It was but it was very borderline. Hoping they cross that line soon
Kinda surprised it was pg-13 in most parts of the world, was M here (tho not sure if they fill the same role)
Disney won't do R rated material. [editline]31st December 2016[/editline] I mean, that's been their mission statement for ages
Disney won't do R rated material. [editline]31st December 2016[/editline] I mean, that's been their mission statement for ages
There is a first time for everything.
Disney won't do R rated material. [editline]31st December 2016[/editline] I mean, that's been their mission statement for ages
Disney owned Miramax, which put out plenty of R rated flicks. It may not mean much, but to me the view askewniverse and tarantinoverse are part of the mcu.
Disney also got rid of miramax and buena vista.
It was but it was very borderline. Hoping they cross that line soon
They literally [sp]killed off every character[/sp] what more do you want :v:
They literally [sp]killed off every character[/sp] what more do you want :v:
An ultra-violent rated R movie where Vader slays even more villages full of Sand People, says every curse word, and fucks a Twi'lek prostitute.
I doubt vader still has a dick
I doubt vader still has a dick
yeah they couldn't reattach it because of the budgetary constraints.
yeah they couldn't reattach it because of the budgetary constraints.
How would you reattach what was burnt to a crisp?
An ultra-violent rated R movie where Vader slays even more villages full of Sand People, says every curse word, and fucks a Twi'lek prostitute.
At the same time.
Not to mention it is canon that they really did skimp out on his suit
Not to mention it is canon that they really did skimp out on his suit
Vader got top of the line prosthetics made by the best cybernetics expert in the galaxy. There were no expenses spared on the armor of Darth Vader
Decided to rewatch Return of the Jedi today out of the blue. Jesus, that scene where the A-Wing flies through the bridge of the Super Star Destroyer and it crashes into the Death Star II is so goddamn awesome. The effects just bleed an 80s vibe, and they still kind of hold up. Hell, a lot of the effects in Return of the Jedi have aged better than some of the CGI in the prequels. [editline]31st December 2016[/editline] Unpopular opinion: I actually prefer Yub Nub to the Special Edition John Williams closing track. I find it to be highly superior and much more emotional and no one can tell me otherwise.
I actually prefer Yub Nub to the Special Edition John Williams closing track. I find it to be highly superior and much more emotional and no one can tell me otherwise.
i shall attempt to tell you otherwise loudly and impolitely
Vader got top of the line prosthetics made by the best cybernetics expert in the galaxy. There were no expenses spared on the armor of Darth Vader
Besides the fact that the Emperor purposefully sabatoged the long-term dependability of his suit so that he'd always be forced to rely on Empire maintenance and not be able to rebel.
Besides the fact that the Emperor purposefully sabatoged the long-term dependability of his suit so that he'd always be forced to rely on Empire maintenance and not be able to rebel.
Vader comic spoilers [sp] Well even without his suit Vader is so pissed off he can still fuck shit up, as that poor bastard Cylo found out. [/sp]
They literally [sp]killed off every character[/sp] what more do you want :v:
A movie where a character doesn't stay [sp]fully intact when they're blown away by a thermal detonator.[/sp] [Sp]a lot of the deaths like that were cheesy. Get blown ten feet by an explosive, body is fully in tact.[/sp]
Is there a Disney-canon explanation for Vader's suit? I've always thought the idea that he's stuck with a purposely sabotaged one is silly. Especially now that we know [sp]he bathes in big glowing tubes.[/sp]
