Andy Serkis?[/QUOTE] Maybe "like" is too strong a word here, but he's one of the few things I actually genuinely enjoyed about The Force Awakens because he had a backstory tied to the main characters and the rise and fall of the Galactic Empire, was a nice foil to Palpatine (especially when it came to his obsession about balancing the dark and light side of the Force) and his presence was perhaps a hint to the future of the franchise (like what actually is hiding in the Unknown Regions of the Galaxy). [The Last Jedi spoilers][sp]Hearing that he's going to kick it halfway through the second movie in a trilogy is something that leaves me baffled to be honest. That said I'll wait till I watch the movie proper to judge the whole thing, 'cause maybe his death will serve SOME KIND of purpose to the plot. I hope.[/sp]

Just watched The Last Jedi. It was... anticlimactic? Heavy spoilers below. [sp]Snoke's death lol. I was sitting in the theater thinking "wait, that's it?". What a completely useless character. Also Luke's "death" felt incredibly forced.[/sp]

Well watched Last Jedi as soon as i could and i have to say, i enjoyed it, some questionable choices but the thing that pissed me off (spoilers below) [sp] Phasma is still GARBAGE, the only cool thing is just her armor deflecting a blaster shot, that's it. She's only there to make merchandise.[/sp]

I'm genuinely starting to have second guesses about going to watch The Last Jedi to be honest, but I'll try to[I] force[/I] it on myself for the greater good (or so I chose to believe)

Oh my god I'll only get to watch it with friends on the 22th [B]how will I not die of curiosity until then[/B]

There of course were some great highlights but man am i a little disappointed.

I'm not even exaggerating. I really liked TFA, I liked rogue one, I even like the prequels. I'll watch and enjoy some absolute shlock but that was one of the worst movies I've seen in recent memory

Just finished watching the midnight release, overall impression would be that, there's a lot to negatively critique about it. But was overall an enjoyable story wars movie. As opposed to a masterpiece of cinema that a lot of people are probably expecting, or hoping for. If I had to say one thing before I succumb to sleep, it would be that [sp]I fucking hated the casino sequence [/sp] more than I can say I enjoyed a particular scene.

like I don't mean to be that guy that says anybody elses opinion is wrong but I honestly can't imagine anybody watching this movie and giving it anything higher than a 6/10 I hope people enjoy it and I'm the crazy one though

To me it seems like George Lucas walked on set one day and convinced Rian Johnson to let him direct a scene. [/sp]
