He's dead. End of story.
I hope he's dead. I have a bet on him going and I don't want to lose money.
I hope he's dead. I have a bet on him going and I don't want to lose money.
They have concept art for him turning up in rebels. It's a hard thing to do because if they kill him off in rebels what was the point but I wouldnt mind Vader taking him out
They have concept art for him turning up in rebels.
Proof, because this is the first I've heard of this.
I think a low amount of jedi post PT is fine. They couldnt defeat vader anyway, luke is still the only one that can save the jedi order and his father.
Luke definitely was the only one who could save his father, but I would argue that it's possible for any remaining Jedi to save the order, especially those who, unlike Luke, were actually part of it at some point, even if as a padawan.
Proof, because this is the first I've heard of this.
I think what he was referring to was fanart, like that fan made dark side Ezra that fooled a few people. [editline]edit[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/n2SXLw2.jpg[/t] found it, yeah it was a fan picture mixed with fan speculation about Rebels season 2 and "WHAT IF MACE WINDU IS ALLLIVVVVVEEEEEE" nothing official at all.
I think i actually would have preferred Windu to [sp]Maul[/sp], bringing him back but as basically a hollow shell of what he used to be would have been pretty interesting to see. We've got characters like Obi-wan and Yoda who even years after it all ended have still their faith in the Jedi way and not much has really changed for them personally, but bringing back Windu and having him lean a bit more towards the Dark Side and just having given up hope would have been something different.
Technically only Kanan would have to die for that to be true. [editline]edit[/editline] Even Dave commented on this, his comments seem to imply that Kanan might be for the chopping block given he's one of the few "actual" remaining Jedi who was actually a part of the order.
So long as they're alive, they have the ability to "go back to the light side" and be Jedi. If Luke is to be the last Jedi, then all others must die.
So long as they're alive, they have the ability to "go back to the light side" and be Jedi. If Luke is to be the last Jedi, then all others must die.
So? Leia has the ability to go to the light side and become a Jedi and probably would have given she was pretty much Yoda's fallback plan just in case Luke failed, at least that's what I gather from what Yoda says of her.
Obi-Wan: That boy is our last hope. Yoda: No. There is another.
Does that mean she has to die too, just because she has that potential.
Rogue One [sp]I really like how Director Krennic was in a continuously insecure position pretty much throughout the bigger part of the movie. Was a lot more interesting than the antagonist being 'above it all' and some kind of infallible mastermind right till the end.[/sp]
Found myself a little dissapointed with the recent rebels episode. Here's all this cool stuff. You gain [sp]nothing but a hologram and a shield core[/sp] despite everything else available. [sp] I don't even know why though. There wasn't a reason to let go of the canisters, with the imperial ship defeated they could have gone back for them. They could've took the highly capable geonosian with them rather than have him hide in another tunnel, and there were plenty of great-shape droids for the salvaging. [/sp] Plus I thought the geonosians had some cool tech in the prequels. You could see why they were weapon designers, and it's sad nobody [sp] looted that awesme blaster [/sp]
Honestly I really hope we get an Anthology movie that's like Rogue One but with a platoon of Stormtroopers. Rogue One did a great job at showing how the Rebels aren't these perfect heroes, I'd like to see a straight up war movie that shows that Stormtroopers are really just average soldiers with actual personalities, not just despicably evil faceless space Nazis.

Ben didn't come back in ESB to tell her to go to Yoda, he went to Luke.
problem is it'll have to be set far enough into original trilogy that the stormtroopers aren't clones, but it can't be TFA troopers because they're basically grown to be stormtroopers
It could be anywhere after the formation of the empire because once that kicked in, recruiting jumped up. Or, at the absolute earliest, when they finally transitioned into OT stormtrooper armor.
problem is it'll have to be set far enough into original trilogy that the stormtroopers aren't clones, but it can't be TFA troopers because they're basically grown to be stormtroopers
actually it would be cool if there were a few clone veterans still amongst the recruited rank-and-file (all the CGI Temurea Morrisons though)

Even 5 years after ROTS Tarkin was surprised to see a Clone Squad Leader.
The Clone troopers became Vader's personal guard after the events of ROTS. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/501st_legion
Not in the new canon. Like with all Clone Units they were replaced by regular people.
I think it was reading the wiki or something, but I like the idea of the empire still using clones for stormtroopers, just clones of different people. So say there's like, 20 faces that are coppied and pasted into the ranks, all chosen for their obedient, loyal and ruthless mentality [sp]Don't make a joke about the chinese...[/sp]
Not in the new canon. Like with all Clone Units they were replaced by regular people.
If anything to do with clones, this is the one thing I wish they make canon again.
well if they did it would be contradicting to what has been established.
I don't care :v:
Bit contradictory there Scorpious. :pudge:
Pretty sure if Leia was good for the job, they would have sent for her first. Ben didn't come back in ESB to tell her to go to Yoda, he went to Luke.
Then the same could be said of Kanan or Ezra, neither of which are good enough for the job from what we've seen of them encountering Vader.
clones are stupid
clones are stupid
Did you just dis Rex and Delta Squad?
I dunno, the Clone Wars cartoon actually made them pretty likable characters. If your experience of clones is just from the movie however, I can see how you'd think that.
I wonder if we'll be seeing any Clone War veterans in any of the new films, I mean they'll be getting on in age but it'll be sweet to see.
EP7 is 53 years after ROTS, I can't see any Clones being alive. Non-Clones, maybe.
They don't have to be episodic films. We could potentially see clone vets in the Han Solo movie
