fan service of the highest order. neat, but very pointless. still, i can't help but wonder if it's going to be canon or not. also, considering they stole the falcon from platt, and platt wanted bb-8, i think it's safe to say that he got off jakku and started searching for them asap, listening in on frequencies and picking up whatever chatter he could to point himself in the right direction.
I think ultimately leaving Unkar Plutt's fate ambiguous is better - and considering that he got stuck on Jakku just as the First Order was blowing his entire livelihood to smithereens, whatever happened to him was probably just what he deserved.
interesting http://nerdist.com/rogue-one-darth-vader-scene-star-wars/ [sp]the vader scene was part of the reshoots[/sp]
Isn't that technically a pickup then, not a reshoot? It would be a reshoot if it was already shot but had to redone.

That scene reminds me how much I like Rey's blaster. It's got a nice heft and size to it. [t]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/2/2e/Rey_Blaster.png/revision/latest?cb=20160709011851[/t]
The opening of today's rebels episode was very familiar, music too :v:
I don't like it much. Like it's not terrible, but I kinda liked the whole 'mostly WW2 weapons with some changes and attachments' they had going on, even if they use MG 34's a bit too much (and should have never used an AR-15 since the receiver is so identifiable)

fuck me I forgot rebels airs on saturday and not friday
Well, guess which episode just shat on the idea of The Old Republic era of Legends ever becoming canon?[sp]The next one[/sp]
I don't see how.
I don't see how.
[Sp]There is absolutely no fucking mention of any Mandalorian Jedi being active at that time. At all. You would think that with a war between the two he would've been mentioned atleast few times.[/sp]

There is no way you can reconcile that with Legends timeline unless there was another Old Republic that fell after the first one.[/sp] The swear was for an emphasis on how impossible the situation would be. Sorry if you interpreted it otherwise.
There was never any chance of it being canon anyways.
while I love revan, and I love how good of a story arc he had, I honestly don't get why people are constantly wanting him to come back to canon no matter what. It'd be cool, but I would rather have him re-appear in some smaller form that added to the plot, rather than a force ghost or whatever to appear and be 'yo im revan' I appreciate how hesitant the rebels team are to add in some well requested callbacks to legends, if it doesn't play into the plot in some way
There was never any chance of it being canon anyways.
People are still going to bring it up in vain hopes that their favourite game(s/books/comic books) will ever be made canon because I dunno, they feel more validated if their favourite thing is more special than someone's else favourite thing from Legends or something. Don't expect anything (that isn't a piece of technology) to be just straight up made canon. All you are going to get is something like Thrawn. Concepts and characters but with some new spins put on them.
I could see maybe some form of Revan becoming canon, hell he almost appeared in Clone Wars. But it wouldn't be as a force ghost. Maybe a hologram, or some piece of art. [editline]15th January 2017[/editline] So in Rebels (I'm sure this was done with the movies too) the scripts actually have what Chopper is saying, to help with the animation, sounds and story. LucasFilm has even asked Comic writers to do it as well to help the artists.
Best part is the <save me> from R2.
If they made Revan canon, I'd rather they appear as a statue or something that keeps the character ambiguous like that in an episode than a force ghost. I know TOR and the Revan book already did it, and that KOTOR has an established canon(well Legends, but canon to it I guess?) path, but I just personally never liked the idea of Revan having a set character(even having a set gender). Especially since in KOTOR 2 you could decide facts about them through a conversation. Edit: I just kinda feel like if you're going to make a canon version of an RPG protagonist they should be as ambiguous as possible.

I'd prefer if Revan was male since it's always been that way. Now the Exile being female is stupid. The Exile being female was dumb because in the old legends canon it was actually impossible to do a canon play through of Kotor 2 thanks to LucasArts

almost looks like yautja writing
almost looks like yautja writing
When I scrolled past I legitimately thought the second pic was a screenshot of that predator gauntlet computer thing. Edit: I'm dumb and need to go to bed, the second one is a predator bomb. But yeah the first one really does look like predator text.
You know guys, sometimes your discussions about canon scare me.
