I heard they're making a new star wars movie
no way
I heard they're going to make a new Star Wars movie every year until we're all dead.
Donnie Yen's [sp]"Are you kidding? I'm blind!"[/sp] line in Rogue One was actually improvised by him.
it's a great line
So wait, they actually put in the script [sp]to have a hood placed over his head[/sp] without any thought about the practicality? :v:

why would the rebels trust that he's actually blind anyway
His eyes looked fucked up.
yeah but it's a world of scifi magic tech, he could be wearing contact lenses for all they know. why risk it
Pablo seems to insist that Disney has no influence on Star Wars story wise.

Disney honestly seems to be one of more creator friendly companies in the industry.
Yeah, but there are a lot of people out there that insist on blaming Disney for everything wrong.

Saw this image on reddit, some people think [sp]Gold Leader[/sp] is going to be in Rebels http://i.imgur.com/beApOuq.jpg Even if he isn't that character, he is probably going to be named character, he doesn't have a generic face covered by a helmet like all the other pilots.
I just watched the deleted/extended Geonossis arena battle from Episode 2 and my god it was an experience. They used comic sans on an offical blu-ray release.
How do people here feel about the Lego Star Wars models out of curiosity? I got the 'Poe's X-Wing' set a week ago and I'm super pleased with it. It was reduced to a price i felt was acceptable (about £10 off) on Amazon but the build and model itself are to a way higher standard than I had anticipated.
Star wars lego has always been fucking awesome, but dramatically expensive, shame older builds are significantly more expensive now a-days since a lot of it isn't in production anymore and collectors like to hike up the prices, like I'd love to have a lego Star Destroyer or a Lego AT-TE, but that shits expensive as all hell, Even the recent re-release of the Star Destroyer is like £220 at best. Like while I'd LOVE to collect that shit, I just don't have the extra cash to throw away.
I want the new y-wing

They're no more than $5-$10 a pop, and look nice lined up on a desk. I've got a few lined up on my desk along with a Normandy SR-2 and the USS Reliant.
I imagine most people here aren't interested at all in model kits, but if you are, I highly recommend Bandai's line of Star Wars models, they're quite good and cover everything from starfighters to stormtroopers.

I really like the microfighter line, they're no more than $15 and they're adorable and get the point across. I play with mine. I met get the scale Y-Wing this year since that's my favorite ship.
I've always been a big fan of the die-cast ship models like this, most (read: not the wookie one) are really great quality and they all have nice little details added in like fully fleshed out cockpits and landing gear so you don't need the stands (they're terribly unbalanced and cheap). Obviously you can't build them but they make great little ornaments to stick around on shelves and whatnot. I have the Nubian cruiser below on my desk at work. I believe they're now doing Force Awakens models like this too.

Because that's fucking awesome if it is.
You can get 5 diecast models for 15$. The models themselves are usually 5 bucks a pop. Good deal.
Anyone remember these? http://starwarsactionfleet.com/ I had half a dozen of them as a kid, and as a dumb kid I'd take one or two to school and lose them, the rest of them were lost in a flood. I wish I could have them again, but as they're so rare prices have jumped. My dad originally bought them as a collection off E-bay I remember the Y-Wing had a loose engine, and I used to pull it off and pretend it crashed.
I haven't taken a look at the x-wing minatures, but I heard they're also really good in terms of quality
