The FFG X-Wing minis are really good too. A bit more expensive because they come with rules and stuff to play them, but they look good on my shelf.

Also, they have the Outrider, which is the best star wars ship period.

There are people out there who do buy Miniature game models just for display and not play.

Rumors go around saying there will be 8 sets based on TLJ.

Lego will probably keep tighter security this time after the Ep.7 set leaks.

All of these new Star Wars sets makes me want to be a kid again. Like 6-8 yeas ago I would have loved these.

Most of the phase 1 suits are pretty similar, but if I had to pick one I always liked the red ARC trooper the best.

Shame the empire/First Order are all about that uniformity, I adore the coloured stripes used on the clone troopers. Unless you're Captain special snowflake Phasma with her ridiculous shiny armour.

Yes of course, and I respect that. It's really more that I've grown kinda out of it, and I can't afford spending money on Lego myself. Plus I don't really have enough space to display it. It will always have a place in my heart though, so who knows, I might start collecting when I can afford it again.

I always really liked the Episode II Clone Pilot's design.

I was never a huge fan of them replacing the full-head helmet with the open-face one in Episode III, especially since they go right back to full-head helmets with the Empire. Plus, this one just looks so much cooler to me.

Damn I forgot how awesome the pilot's helmet was. Wish it would've been used more. Really looks like the precursor to Tie pilot armor

Seconded on the original pilot, although he was best as Battlefront 2's Engineer class. Blaster flechette shotguns are a horribly underutilized and radical idea.

Shotguns IRL do terribly against body armour. The force is too widely distributed so it's easy to absorb. I think the same logic would apply even more to blasters.

A full auto blaster shotgun would be fantastic against jedi tho (they could probably dodge single shots) Until they start wearing armour.

I would've liked to see full plate that really works well against sabers and blasters, so we can have full-on-knightly (or samurai) fights. It's a shame kylo has a saber modeled on a late longsword and doesn't have the armour to go with it.
