If you want something cheap to collect, I'd suggest the Black Series starships. They're no more than $5-$10 a pop, and look nice lined up on a desk. I've got a few lined up on my desk along with a Normandy SR-2 and the USS Reliant.
The FFG X-Wing minis are really good too. A bit more expensive because they come with rules and stuff to play them, but they look good on my shelf. Also, they have the Outrider, which is the best star wars ship period.
There are people out there who do buy Miniature game models just for display and not play. I'd probably do it.
I've always been a big fan of the die-cast ship models like this, most (read: not the wookie one) are really great quality and they all have nice little details added in like fully fleshed out cockpits and landing gear so you don't need the stands (they're terribly unbalanced and cheap). Obviously you can't build them but they make great little ornaments to stick around on shelves and whatnot. I have the Nubian cruiser below on my desk at work. I believe they're now doing Force Awakens models like this too.
I've not seen those ones before, what are they from? I'm assuming those aren't availble now?
http://imgur.com/a/98vGN some up coming lego sets, I don't think any of them are spoilers
http://imgur.com/a/98vGN some up coming lego sets, I don't think any of them are spoilers
Rumors go around saying there will be 8 sets based on TLJ. Lego will probably keep tighter security this time after the Ep.7 set leaks.
http://imgur.com/a/98vGN some up coming lego sets, I don't think any of them are spoilers
All of these new Star Wars sets makes me want to be a kid again. Like 6-8 yeas ago I would have loved these.
All of these new Star Wars sets makes me want to be a kid again. Like 6-8 yeas ago I would have loved these.
You are aware that adult fans of Lego exist, right?
I'm pretty sure the tracker I Is a freemaker adventure set, so nothing from episode 8. on the topic of LEGO, it was a rainy day out so I decided to make a tie advance (which then turned into a tie fighter because I was too lazy to make an advance) https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/267458368120029186/275393285718147092/20170129_173405.jpg https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/267458368120029186/275393324129583104/20170129_1733500.jpg I'm pretty happy with it, even though the panels are no-where near the right scale.
http://imgur.com/a/98vGN some up coming lego sets, I don't think any of them are spoilers
The Republic Tank and Bounty Hunter Battle Pack really stand out to me; I think I'll pick those up.
I'm happy to see there are some sets coming out that are less expensive ways of getting some characters.
I'm working on a project, what are your guy's favorite phase 1 clone armor designs? OR are there any really unique ones you can think of?
I'm working on a project, what are your guy's favorite phase 1 clone armor designs? [t]http://i21.servimg.com/u/f21/15/31/37/80/captai10.jpg[/t] Shame the empire/First Order are all about that uniformity, I adore the coloured stripes used on the clone troopers. Unless you're Captain special snowflake Phasma with her ridiculous shiny armour.
You are aware that adult fans of Lego exist, right?
Yes of course, and I respect that. It's really more that I've grown kinda out of it, and I can't afford spending money on Lego myself. Plus I don't really have enough space to display it. It will always have a place in my heart though, so who knows, I might start collecting when I can afford it again.
I'm working on a project, what are your guy's favorite phase 1 clone armor designs? OR are there any really unique ones you can think of?
I always really liked the Episode II Clone Pilot's design. [t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/a/a6/Clone_trooper_pilot.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20080118201354[/t] I was never a huge fan of them replacing the full-head helmet with the open-face one in Episode III, especially since they go right back to full-head helmets with the Empire. Plus, this one just looks so much cooler to me.
I love the commando armor designs. Or is that phase 3?
They're phase 1

I tried to rate you funny and it said "This user cannot rate posts!" and I thought I got banned but it fixed when I refreshed. :worried:
Rumor time, related to both Han Solo and Visceral's Star Wars Game [sp]So according to an anonymous source (so I'm taking this with a grain of salt) their game was ready to be shown at E3 2015, but when Jade Raymond came on, it was re-written because it stepped on the toes of the Han Solo film. http://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/2017/01/visceral-games-rumor.html[/sp]

I am the best to ever play as Darth Revan cash on it.
I am the best to ever play as Darth Revan cash on it.
No force powers. Republic Mod armor. Carth blasters only. Star Forge.

Wish it would've been used more. Really looks like the precursor to Tie pilot armor
Seconded on the original pilot, although he was best as Battlefront 2's Engineer class. Blaster flechette shotguns are a horribly underutilized and radical idea. [t]http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr84/Necromander/Expendable1/BattlefrontII2013-03-2410-22-36-43.png[/t]

Are there members of the 501st here? I spoke with someone from the Dutch Garrison, I recognized her patch from the Facebook page. I'm considering joining them

The force is too widely distributed so it's easy to absorb. I think the same logic would apply even more to blasters. A full auto blaster shotgun would be fantastic against jedi tho (they could probably dodge single shots) Until they start wearing armour. I would've liked to see full plate that really works well against sabers and blasters, so we can have full-on-knightly (or samurai) fights. It's a shame kylo has a saber modeled on a late longsword and doesn't have the armour to go with it.
I just want for honor but with a star wars skin on it
