Jyn being called Sergeant on toys and such is explained in the R1 novel [sp]From Wookieepedia "she was approached by Special Forces Lieutenant Taidu Sefla who expressed his concern that the troops would have trouble respecting her without legitimate authority. After being given the rank of sergeant,[4] Jyn proceeded to address the Marines on the situation while Andor detailed the mission and their role in it.[3]"[/sp]
Why are we using the 'but Obi-Wan drew blood in the cantina' thing? Like it or lump it, the newest versions of the films always override the canon of the older versions, and thus the wound was bloodless just like any other. Also, with the 'Hammerhead being [sp]a ramming ship[/sp] with the bridge in front', I would say that maybe the image in front is a screen rather than glass, but considering you can see the other way in shots where the front is visible, it might just be that [sp]ramming was a last resort tactic.[/sp] The glass does seem to be inset, though, which is silly because obviously you'd have massive amounts of the field of vision blocked off as a result. So in other words, it's just a slightly dodgy design.

The Death Trooper TIE transport in rogue one has a name, TIE Reaper
Just binged through the rest of S3. I do have to say it left me wanting more.
It's so shit that rebels gets a bad rap for not being more clone wars. I get that clone wars should have gone on (for at most two seasons) But Rebels gets good. S1 had a lot of garbage, but TCW was hardly an example of a good start. Better quality has been canceled sooner.
I like a fresh storyline and characters. I love Clone Wars but any more than a season or two and it would have gotten old imo.
I miss Ahsoka in Rebels, I really wish she would be back even if it is just for one episode
We posting Star Wars figures now? [t]http://i.imgur.com/842cfK6.jpg[/t]

A tiny thing that bothers me but I'm about 100% sure that good, bulky ship design would be asteroid proof. Like they got weird, advanced fantasy metals and are apart of a civilisation that's been building ships for thousands of years. Asteroids should bounce right off destroyers (and vice versa). Looses suspension of disbelief when such advanced and expensive technology is destroyed by slow moving objects. And scenes where the bridge gets destroyed so the entire ship crashes (Like a certain flagship into the deathstar) are also just really bad.
I'm pretty sure starships/flagships were made out of common real life metals and materials

A several kilometer wide chunk of ore and rock flying at top speed is gonna smash through anything because of pure force alone.

lol "slow moving objects" If anything, you should be complaining about such minor damage the strikes are doing to the ships. It's funny how something about physics you clearly have no understanding about somehow kills your suspension of disbelief rather than something actually made up in the film, such as the fact that there are thousand plus manned starships in space with laser canons and artificial gravity.
If anything, you should be complaining about such minor damage the strikes are doing to the ships.
Exactly. Remember when the Millennium Falcon got hit by an asteroid in ESB? Presumably a similar asteroid to the one that annihilated a TIE Fighter in the ensuing chase? Yeah, that should have torn a pretty significant part of the ship off, or just crushed the whole thing. But it didn't. Because Star Wars is a science fantasy franchise. If you want something close to scientific accuracy, try Star Trek out. That's where I get my science fiction nerdy goodness, and I go to Star Wars for my science fantasy action and explosions.
Exactly. Remember when the Millennium Falcon got hit by an asteroid in ESB? Presumably a similar asteroid to the one that annihilated a TIE Fighter in the ensuing chase?
To be fair a Tie fighter isn't shielded like the Millennium Falcon is.
I feel there hasn't been as many TLJ leaks as there were TFA. I think maybe even less then R1. LucasFilm must have stepped up their security.
To be fair a Tie fighter isn't shielded like the Millennium Falcon is.
it's almost like the story was written before the fake science was
it's almost like the story was written before the fake science was
Uh, the Falcon always had shields and TIE fighters always didn't.
Do you really think George Lucas went that indepth?
Do you really think George Lucas went that indepth?
i'd believe it, yes.
I feel there hasn't been as many TLJ leaks as there were TFA. I think maybe even less then R1. LucasFilm must have stepped up their security.
I've seen tons of "story leaks" on sites like 4chan. The chance of them being true is usually very low, but quite a few of the TFA leaks were true, so you can't really be sure.
Did people survive direct hits from a blaster in the OT? I feel like the OT it blasters being a one hit kill was 100% consistent, and ever since then people have been surviving as many four shots for plot reasons.
Leia cops one to the shoulder in ROTJ
most stormtrooper kills were chest hits anyway
