How the force works and Malachor are two things I can think of.
I know about Malachor, but I always assumed it was a system of planets or something similar to Yavin or Endor, with multiple planets sharing the same name. And what about the force?
IDK what it is, but Rey's outfit at the end of 7 (and also in that box art) is one of the coolest in Star Wars to me. It's so sexy. [editline]16th February 2017[/editline]
I don't follow much of the new canon, what kind of stuff has been rewritten to contradict KotOR? Only think I can think of is the recent Rebels episode changed something about the Mandalorians, but I don't follow the show so I don't know specifically.
They also changed stuff with lightsabers. Kylo's lightsaber is based off of an ancient design which was found on Malachor in Rebels (or hinted at). So we know the technology was just a bit different than what we see. The hammerheads are canon, but they're no longer TOR era. They're GCW era technology. They also changed things with how many Jedi Temples there are around the galaxy and how they're scattered pretty much everywhere. You also have the Guardians of the Whills now, which have been a part of Jedi society for a while. I mean, there's new stuff and contradictory stuff. Revan doesn't make sense anymore (in terms of the MMO), Zakuul doesn't make sense (at all). A lot of what was described by Kreia and others in TOR games has been changed and tweaked- that doesn't matter much since it's just dialogue. But I think the main difficulty with it is that they'd have to spend some time ironing out a new canonized version of the Old Republic era to fit with what they're doing thematically now.
The hammerheads are canon, but they're no longer TOR era. They're GCW era technology.
They're older then GCW era. When Ezra first sees them he says 'Some old transports?' The lore also says they're based on a design that dates back centuries. http://www.starwars.com/databank/hammerhead-corvette Though, since 'centuries' isn't an exact measurement of time, it could mean as little as 200 years or more then that.
Weren't the Hammerheads said to be ancient designs or something? -Damnit Tuskin.
They've slightly changed the First Order storm trooper helmet https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWars/comments/5ub2c8/new_image_from_the_set_of_the_last_jedi/?st=IZ8F56LE&sh=03152c8c https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWars/comments/5udxgr/looks_like_the_stormtrooper_face_plates_have_been/
Big fan of this. Looks a lot more like an evolution of the original helmet than just a mock-up.
The mouth piece does look more OT now.
Doesn't seem more consistent? It looks more like the OT helmet then it did before
This is the Italian title of SW EP8 "Ultimi" is the plural form of "Ultimo", Italian's adjectives have plural forms. If "The Last Jedi" meant that there's only one Jedi left, they would've translated it as "L'Ultimo Jedi" So this means that there's more than one Jedi alive.
Neat! Though. I'm pretty sure that it's given that rey and luke are who the title refer to.
The German and French titles are plural as well.
Rey's new hair is lovely
plural in spanish too
Would it be worthwhile getting 'A New Hope' on Laserdisc to see what it looked like before Lucas lost his marbles and did 4 remasters? (Assuming I have a Laserdisc player which I do... don't ask)
Not sure if this has been mentioned or noticed yet, but in other languages (for now I can confirm italian and german) "The Last Jedi" is plural.

New novel coming http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/815831-inferno-squad-star-wars#/slide/1 Follows a squad of Imperials tracking down the remnants of Saw's rebel group.
The Rebellion may have heroes like Jyn Erso and Luke Skywalker. But the Empire has Inferno Squad. After the humiliating theft of the Death Star plans and the resulting destruction of the battle station, the Empire is on the defensive. In response to this stunning defeat, the Imperial Navy has authorized the formation of an elite team of soldiers, known as Inferno Squad. Their mission: infiltrate and eliminate the remnants of Saw Gerrera’s Partisans. Following the death of their leader, the Partisans have carried on his extremist legacy, determined to thwart the Empire — no matter what the cost. Now, Inferno Squad must prove their status as the best of the best and take down the Partisans from within. But as the danger intensifies and the threat of discovery grows, how far will Inferno Squad go to ensure the safety of the Empire?
I would have thought Saw's group would be allowed to live by the empire, because they give rebels a bad name.
why would the 110% authoritarian Empire tolerate any kind of insurgents, even if they give rebs bad PR
The premise seems like a fantastic returning point for Delta Squad, I'm a bit miffed that isn't the case. Although the last RC novel series turned into Tumblr-tier fanfiction really quick so I wouldn't wanna touch that again either.

(Assuming I have a Laserdisc player which I do... don't ask)
Yeah, try the Faces releases since they're less likely to have degraded with things like laser rot. My copy is a very older issue and there's a lot of analog noise on the screen. One thing that I noticed is that the Laserdisc edition of Return of the Jedi handled 4:3 very well, the camera actually pans for some wider shots. Like this scene: The camera initially focuses on Luke due to the 4:3 ratio, but when Han turns his head towards him, it pans to the left to get him in the shot properly, and it kind of makes the delivery of the line funnier as well. Just something I though was interesting. I don't think he plays blind very well there.

Even if we did get one, I have serious doubts about the quality of an EA backed one.
