Has there ever been a given reason why Palpatine was so drawn and dedicated to the Dark Side? I mean, even if you deal some crack to someone in a back alley, the chances are very slim that that guy will go on to become a dealer themselves, let alone the US President and biggest crackdealer in the world. As far as I know, each story about Sidious has started with him already being a Dark Side-user and I've not found anything on just how get got is start or why UNLIMITED POWER held such a draw to him. Or is it meant to be like a Joker-type situation where his backstory is deliborately ambiguious?
never heard of the author before, but all imperial point of view stuff is welcome
For Star Wars she has written Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Omen Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Allies Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Ascension Star Wars: Dark Disciple She has written a lot more then just Star Wars though (Including Star Trek :v:) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christie_Golden#Bibliography [editline]18th February 2017[/editline] Summer lego sets https://imgur.com/a/uXlIE
How many more times are they going to make this into a Lego set? [IMG_thumb]https://i.imgur.com/7U6YgBz.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
How many more times are they going to make this into a Lego set? [IMG_thumb]https://i.imgur.com/7U6YgBz.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
this is actually the second time they did this
How many more times are they going to make this into a Lego set? [IMG_thumb]https://i.imgur.com/7U6YgBz.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
Lego seems to have 7 or 8 Star Wars sets that they constantly have in rotation, look at the history, they've released the Snow Speeder about 6 times with little variations.
How many more times are they going to make this into a Lego set? [IMG_thumb]https://i.imgur.com/7U6YgBz.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
This is literally only the 2nd time they've done that set. Last one was in 2005, the only other one similar was one of the shuttle that brought him back to Corscuant. If you want to complain about LEGO constantly making new versions of scenes or ships, go look up their half-dozen Landspeers and Naboo Starfighters over the years. EDIT: Beaten to the punch.

Star wars Lego upsets me. Was lego that expensive when I was a kid. Was I that much of a burden on my parents? Or is this just a lot worse because it's got both star wars and disney logos on it. But then base lego doesn't look good either. If I knew it was that horrific, I would've asked for the knockoff brands.
Lego has always been expensive. https://shop.lego.com/

I believe there is a dreadnought mentioned in the new Aftermath novel. [editline]18th February 2017[/editline] So next weeks episode focuses on Agent Kallus
A very bold move with the next episode. Color me intrigued.
Anothe great episode from Rebels this week. The series portrayal of the Mandalorians is far better than the Clone Wars'. I see the writers have definitely gave up on Ezra. Good riddance.
Good use of the Mand'o language too
I see the writers have definitely gave up on Ezra. Good riddance.
How so?
How so?
Ezra was an acceptable protagonist during the first and second seasons because, even if he was a children appeal character, he was endearing as a naive newcomer to the Rebellion and inspired sympathy by searching for his parents and trying to get into the whole ordeal of being a Jedi. Starting from season three, however, Ezra has been consistently portraied as an unsufferable jerkass know-it-all who acts the way he does just because he's a full padawan and got a Sith holocron to talk to, so he thinks he's some very hot shit. He literally spend all the scenes he appears in either threating the Ghost's crew like moronic children with issues who needs to behave (we are talking about the people who were kind enough to let him in their crew and saved his life in countless occasions) or spitting out terrible one-liners so the children in the audience can have a laugh and think he's cool. The above when he isn't making one mistake after the other (from this week's episode: Ezra is told before arriving on Mandalore that the natives don't take Jedi well, so Sabine's mission could go awry if either he or Kaidan do something hastly. The first thing he does upon landing is igniting his lightsabers the very second it appears there might be trouble. Way to go, idiot)
Jedi should act like jedi, or what we should expect jedi to act like, because the series has never really shown consistency. Obi-wan is on the risky side of being a jedi, but it's stated in a conversation between him and yoda that he was considered reckless (for a jedi) Anakin was worse, but look what happened to him. I find it bothersome that so many jedi have behavioral issues that are very un-jedi. Like I get that being in a monastic order'd create some problems, but not the ones we see. They're problems because the writers need conflict/moral messages in an episode despite the context. I only warmed to asoka after she'd done some growing up.
Wait so is the TIE Phantom canon again? Or at least lives on as some new thing? [t]http://i.imgur.com/1P2qlD4.jpg[/t]
That's a ship from Lego's own original SW series Freemaker Adventures, so it's not.
That's a pretty striking design. It looks like it's got more speed at the expense of maneuverability. Reminds me a bit of vulture droids, now that I think about it, but it's obvious the legs can't move. I'd really like to see a bigger version go war-of-the-worlds. Lego seems to be bringing the imagination out.
It reminds me of a seperatist ship/droid, definitely
Holy shit I love that droid/bounty hunter. Also For some reason I find it really ironic that it's main function is just to...Explode. I'd have preferred an actual interior as seen in the cross-section books.
I think I would've preferred it if they used a new ship rather than the falcon. But I think the same thing about FO TIE fighters and X-wings (even though I love the new TIE look). That scene where the X-wings flew low over the water would've worked fine with a new fighter design, they don't need to hug so aggressively to the OT.
