The data tape was stolen from the archive and taken to the transmission tower, where it was beamed up to the rebel ship's computer. It was then transferred to the disk that was given to R2.
Oh duh. My brain really needs to turn on today.
I wonder if that disk is still in R2 Just think, if someone got a hold of him, the First Order could build a DS

do you think palpatine used sith magic to store all of those superweapons he pulled out of his ass in legends?
So apparently Wookiepedia is claiming the Rakata from KOTOR are cannon again. Only they're using a vaguely-similar alien from a background alien in Marvel's Poe Dameron comic as the visual, and citing a generalizing tweet by one of the story team guys regarding alien species names as their reasoning. Not that I don't love these guys, but that's a bit flimsy of a way to "Canon" them...
I mean Rakata Prime,Taris, and the Selkath are all canon and were either created or shown fully in KOTOR. [editline]24th February 2017[/editline] And TBF if a Story Group guy says it's not changed or canon, we can logically assume that yes, it is canon. Unless Pablo comes in and says something different.
Feels pretty flimsy to me. The eyes don't even look like they're on Stalks.
Ohh that was a good episode of Rebels
Ohh that was a good episode of Rebels
Fuck it, I'm rolling an Imperial agent.
As with all Rebels Recon episodes, a short preview of the next episode at the end.
Sam Witwer played Republic Commando recently, with the Sound Designer/Lead David Collins commentating with him https://www.twitch.tv/videos/124021081 He has also played on a SWG Emu server a couple times https://www.twitch.tv/samwitwer/videos/all
some concept art of the various artifacts in Thrawn's office and hall. The Caption on the official website says one of these is an ornate old lightsaber. State of the GFFA during TLJ, obviously major spoilers [sp]http://makingstarwars.net/2017/02/state-galaxy-star-wars-last-jedi-begins/[/sp]
I wouldn't trust that, they haven't been right in a long time

In Star wars, do the ships have computer targeting?
In Star wars, do the ships have computer targeting?
Do you remember the Trench Run in ANH?
Do you remember the Trench Run in ANH?
But the missile lock seemed pretty ineffective and the trench laser canons on the death star didn't seem to be able to lock on to the X-wings
But the missile lock seemed pretty ineffective and the trench laser canons on the death star didn't seem to be able to lock on to the X-wings
You sure about that? Someone tells Tarkin that the fighters are TOO small and they're evading the Turbo laser, and that they're shielded. IIRC the first hit with the torpedoes would've killed the Death Star but it's literally said.
Negative, just impacted on the surface.
Hell if they were getting targeted by Vader,Gold Leader would've destroyed the Death Star.
Yeah, you saw Darth Vader use a targeting computer, and his lasers even tracked the fighters, he didn't need to turn to aim. Which is something they mimicked in Battlefront with their lock on feature which I thought was cool. [editline]2nd March 2017[/editline]
and that they're shielded. So your question was answered back in 1977. Wether it was effective or not, it was still a targeting computer.
IIRC when the X-Wing pilots were being given the briefing on how to attack the Death Star, someone (Wedge?) explicitly states that it's "too small to hit, even for a computer"
Maybe the force was why Luke was able to bullseye those Wamp Rats in his T-16 back home. They're no bigger then 2 metres.

I'm excited for RLM's Han Solo movie review were they wonder why the Millennium Falcon is in it
I bet the last shot of the movie will be the Falcon going to Hyperspace.
