Why did I know that Darth Vader was a Sith long before EP1? How? It's never mentioned in the original trilogy (But according to the video above, was clearly intended to)

Why do they never bring David Prowse to Star Wars Celebration? He was Darth Vader for the original three movies and they just shove him aside for James Earl Jones and Sebastian Shaw

They're wearing [I]entirely[/I] different outfits other than the helmet. Nothing is the same between them other than they have a standard non-unique helmet and a beard. There are two things people who mention the theory seem to forget; Rex is a clone, and he isn't white. Clone age seemingly twice as fast as normal humans, he's only around 30 at the moment and he's the equivalent of someone far older than that. It's been mentioned a few times how he's getting old for a Clone. By the time of ROTJ and Endor, he'd be 40, so he'd be closer to 80 in Clone years. Chances are he wouldn't be able to fight anymore. The actor who played Jango (and therefore all Clones) isn't white, the guy in ROTJ was.

Dave Filoni wants to make him that trooper that is enough for some people.

That's assuming what he's teasing about is specifically its "similar design" (despite it having nothing in common other than the helmet and beard) rather than the more obvious reason of it being a teaser for something we don't know anything about yet and what the possible implications of him wearing that sort of camouflage/outfit could be. He's teasing about the possible events/episode that'll require that outfit, not about the random background character we see in ROTJ. There is no connection between the two hinted at by that image. They're both old characters wearing some sort of forest camouflage and a standard-issue helmet, that means nothing. That doesn't support in any way that they're same person, especially not when the lore and the actors who played the characters suggests otherwise. If it was a unique outfit the Commando on Endor was wearing than it would make more sense, but it's generic equipment used by everyone there while Rex's outfit is unique and the two have no similarities beyond the helmet and they're for a forest-like environment.
