I'd like to think that mom dying, presumably from the sheer stress of feeling like she's at fault for Kylo's betrayal and thus for Han's death and everyone else who's fallen because of Kylo, will pull Kylo from the dark side...
While I'll lay money that Rey is going to struggle and possibly fall to the dark side in his place.
And then IX deals with saving Rey from herself, defeating Snoke, redeeming Kylo in everyone's eyes including his own, and happily ever after
Nobody likes Rey.
One thing is for sure - Luke is the only one who can save Kylo if he can be, and only Luke can lead the Resistance now.

Thought i'd share a semi reason of TIE fighters. (1:44)
(Still love this game despite how messed up these sections are)
Olay so I'm literally just hearing now that Thrawn is canon (I've never watched Rebels). This is a massive deal to me okay.

There is also a new novel coming from Timothy Zahn next year that will be his new backstory.

When I thought the show couldn't get any better, these guys managed the impossible: redeem Darth Sidious to my eyes.
I'm fucking done. I know which birthday present to ask for on next year.
except there was never anything wrong with the emperor anyway?

What's wrong with what's possibly the best part of that film? :v:

That's awesome, Thrawn was just too good of a character to just leave behind like that. Glad to see that after the dust settled when the EU was purged Thrawn was still standing.
Thrawn was one of the only good things about Legends.

You guys must really understand the concept of "personal opinion"
What's wrong with what's possibly the best part of that film? :v:
I'll be honest that part scared me a lot
You guys must really understand the concept of "personal opinion" around these parts
There are no personal opinions in Star Wars fandom, any difference of opinions lead to a fight, the winning side decides the opinion of every fan.
That's why every SW fan hates the prequels but because of concessions admits there were parts of it that were good and the era has been salvaged by TCW.
I don't hate the prequels. They're not as good as the OT (nothing will be, let's be realistic here), but they aren't the abhorrent mass murdering piles of shit like people make them out to be.
I saw Rogue One, it was a lot better than I was led to believe. I had a lot of friends crying about how it was awful garbage and I was pleasantly surprised. I kind of feel like everyone wants to be an amateur Plinkett these days and rag on popular stuff in hopes of looking cool. To be clear I didn't think it was incredible but it definitely wasn't the shitpile I was told it was
I also just saw Rogue One and it had its up and downs. The action set pieces were definately the highlight of the movie for me. The characters didn't really get fleshed out that much though but I guess that's hard to do in one film. Still I'd reccomend it to any Star Wars fan that would rather watch a film about people doing the grunt work instead of being unstoppable jedi.
[sp]I didn't hate the CGI Tarkin, I was actually impressed with how far CGI has come. Still, it was pretty unsettling to see a CG Peter Cushing back from the dead and not totally looking human and I can get why it's controversial. [/sp]
the original trilogy honestly had cool ideas. a lot of them aren't very well executed, yes. but I don't think they're collosal pieces of shit as many people believe. infact, I still hold to myself that revenge of the sith ifs a pretty decent star wars movie.
Rogue One's start was a mess, but i really liked it otherwise. the entire Scarif sequence was badass, but it felt like at some point people just started dying way too fast.
the original trilogy honestly had cool ideas.
PREQUEL trilogy, right?
If I have to be honest, The Clone Wars has slowly warmed me up towards the prequels. It's like they used this series to fix a lot of problems I had with those three movies, and they even manage to introduce new, interesting characters and pieces of lore

PREQUEL trilogy, right?
oops. I've been up for 13 hours straight. plz cut me some slack
The pacing certainly had issues in the first half or so, but once it was clear to the characters what the actual objective was then it really picked up.
[sp]Also the DS eclipsing the sun and then firing upon the holy city was absolutely GORGEOUS[/sp]

UNPOPULAR OPINION TIME WOO
Prequel trilogy mainly suffered from poor as fuck directing and terrible sceneplay
Except for EP1, which suffered from all above PLUS a terrible story.
Honestly EP1 is the only one of the 3 that I genuinely just can't stand. The other two had plot issues too, don't get me wrong, but at least they HAD A PLOT AT ALL.
Past that they certainly had a solid foundation for a great story arc, but its like they couldn't decide who's story to tell so they just keep bouncing everywhere for 3 films until NNNNNNYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
At least Ep1 created gems like this

Agree the start was all over the place but it came together well in the end. The people dying too fast part I guess ties into the fact that they were hardly developed to begin with so that probably didn't help. But hey I'll give credit where it's due, you wouldn't expect a Star Wars film to kill that many people that quickly.
Ok, I know from Rebels that Ahsoka will be framed for the Jedi temple bombing and that she'll leave the Order afterwards.
Still, it doesn't excuse everyone involved acting like a utter, fucking idiot. (I'm willing to make an excuse for the Jedi at this point because in the series they are idiots by default)
I think the two holocrons [sp]combined[/sp] in Rebels is entirely illogical and works contrary to what we know about the force/holocrons
Also [sp] I don't know about you, but the big guy who pretends to be plant life would make a pretty fantastic mentor. Not sure why he's not a major supporting character on discovery. [/sp]
Maul would be a swell guy if he'd chill out.
Rouge one feels like a bunch of scenes from different movies I've already seen before, entire plot was obvious and nothing stood out.
At least [sp]that shit with the star destroyer being used as a giant knife was cool.[/sp]

Are you sure you didn't watch The Force Awakens by accident?

Episode 1 has a plot to it.
