Sam Witwer has been dancing around whether or not hes voicing Darth Maul and Palpatine in Battlefront 2.
It is clearly his Palpatine in the trailer, but I guess he is still under NDA even after that.

It's possible. TCW series makes a bulk of the Clone Wars era content that's canon and has a lot of material they can draw from and use in the game. If they keep themselves safe and only going with movie heroes they're going to limit themselves. The Heroes vs Villains roster would be:
Like compare if they use TCW characters for villains and heroes against the movies.
With : Dooku,Jango,Grevious,Maul,Palpatine,Hondo,Pre-Viszla,Cad Bane,Ventress,Savage
Without: Dooku,Jango,Grevious,Maul Palpatine. Zam Wessal is probably since they made heroes out of Greedo,Dengar, and Nein-Nub.
With: Obi-Wan,Anakin,Yoda,Mace,Padme,Ahsoka,Rex,Fives,Cody,Saul,Bo-Katan,
Without: Obi-Wan,Anakin,Yoda,Mace,Padme.
We're talking EXCLUSIVELY Clone Wars with this example, if the entire PT era is used then add on Captain Typho and Peneka because they actually saw action.
They have the Blurrg-1120 blaster (Hera's weapon) with the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition of the game, so I assume they might pull stuff from Clone Wars or Rebels.

I mean the X8 Night Sniper,Bo-Rifle, T7 Ion Disruptor are all from Rebels so it's a good sign.
It would be pretty cool to actually have Rebels crew as heroes in the OT Era, because then you get MORE HEROES AND VILLAINS. More weapons, hell the EE4 was the weapon Sana uses in the comics and since Rebels cast and Dr.Aphra got included in the Force Arena game, there's potential they can be in there too.
I personally find it unlikely there will be any Clone Wars/Rebels characters in the game, at least at launch. They'll focus on the movies and give us the other stuff as DLC.
One of the problems is that the game is photo realistic.
How do you make cartoon characters made with a specific art style(s) into realistic looking people with it still looking like them?
I can maybe see Ahsoka being present in the game at launch, since she would probably have the most mainstream recognition. Maybe Ventress as well. Although I agree that other characters like Cad Bane would probably have to be DLC or an update.

yes, i did click the links and saw the pictures, and yes, the part where Vader gets off the operation table is drastically different from how things happen in Revenge of the Sith - including the big word, which here is much less dramatic and hammy.
It has to be after, they can't retcon/alter the movies dialogue.
