https://clips.twitch.tv/UnsightlyFlaccidSlothLitty Got the cornershot shell and used it as intended. Works well
I'm basically John Wick. You know, if John Wick could tank a bunch of bullets. Also fuck you Anton. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/185499/a72a0670-2e22-4447-b6ca-f4dff8e14df2/vlc-record-2018-04-27-00h20m17s-Replay_2018.04.26-23.32.mp4-.mp4
Cheat engine for slo-mo lmao just fucking instant reload its the best
I was thinking of doing that, but figured it'd mess with other things. I'll have to try it out
You can aim it with both eyes at the same time, ultra tactical https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/110618/1c418b52-6cdf-4c3a-9512-80e86486eaf9/20180427182609_1_vr.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/110618/59995bff-8fc5-479f-b063-4e47ca806091/20180427182545_11.jpg
I once made a binocular handgun with two 12x scopes. It worked!
Those shield enemies in H3VR can be really annoying if you dont have any explosives, armor piercing rounds, good sights or high capacity mags. Also armor piercing rounds need to actually penetrate armor instead of just damaging it, have atleast some damage pass through. Wasnt he supposed to remove the useless iron sights from spawning? (theyre mostly useless even if you somehow managed to find a matching pair). And i keep finding those extremely tiny pistols that do 100 damage on a headshot.
The most reliable way to beat shield enemies is to walk up to them and shove the gun directly into the eyehole and twist it a little so they're busier with trying to balance themselves out than actually shoot.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tzb972Mqb84 I made the Johnson. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Gwr4B
Man, why can't more devs care about the firearms in their games like Anton does about this game.
Mounted miniguns for dual wielding plz
the shields in T&H are a bitch to handle and im having hard time shooting at their legs. anton should put the tactical shield in the item table
Don't go for the legs, that does no damage. Shields are dealt with by running into them basically.
The Stielhandgranate is so fun to use in Take and Hold, I always have it with me before starting.
More H3VR https://youtu.be/qJewot179DE This time around I made the Obrez https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rQ8bL
Is there anything else similar to H3VR? Not so much in the way of gun simulation but more in the way of physics sandbox with simulated aspects. The only other thing I found so far is Kingspray Graffiti, focusing on spraypaiting but having sandbox elements in the way of secret items (Paddleball, etch-a-sketch) Gun Club VR is also similar if you want another target shooter that takes quite obvious influences...
Unlike other games, this one is actually all about the guns first and foremost. I kind of wish there was a reason to use two hands for weapons that would definitely need it in real life. It's great Schwarzenegger action dual wielding semi-automatic rifles, but just doesn't feel as good as using a pistol.
I love the detail of H3VR's guns, but I dramatically prefer how one/two handed weapons are handled in Onward. I really wish we could get an option for the exact same control scheme including the hand-sticking.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI-OQ0k3gQw BELT GUNS!
Belt guns?! I'm surprised, I seem to remember Anton commenting that they may be impossible to simulate in H3VR. This update looks incredible.
Fuck yeah, an MG42!
He posted a video some time ago on the discord that showed a prototype one, I'm surprised he managed to include it relatively early but I'm not gonna complain about that.
H3VR's imfdb-page is a close contender in ridiculousness to Far Cry 2, 3 and 4's pages. Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades
The random loot table option is pretty great in T&H.
If I ever get VR, this will probably be my first purchase.
The random option in Take n Hold is fucking ridiculous. I'll remove the embed from the images just in case you haven't seen these guns and don't want me to spoil some of the special weapons in this game. The game starts me out with a fucking anti-material rifle of all things. Then my first supply point gives me a god damned joke weapon the length of my lower body: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/924806510520655214/CF1421B4B22141366BD191A047926702E84E1E88/ My next supply point holds the holy fucking grail of "guns": https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/924806510520655402/E0F3730B38F5AAF6B38F044B626AC2449A218DC3/ Let me describe this fucking thing if you haven't seen it (and I'll spoiler it in case you want to stumble upon it yourself). It's a fucking alien gun that fires bright blue bullets at the rate of a fucking mini-gun. Oh, did I mention it has INFINITE AMMO? Seriously, this gun is outrageous and made the run way too fucking easy. This was the last note-worthy weapon I found, don't remember the name of it: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/924806510520655536/AD09385FBB43F61B437F5D3C29833AE27E49733E/ I'd be pretty stoked about finding it if I didn't already have the most overpowered thing in existence. Overall pretty good run, ended it prematurely because it became boring and drawn out due to the insane gun.
I never saw that alien blastertype gun before.
Its not even mentioned in the devlogs or patch notes. Think you found a hidden weapon!
Looks like something out of Mass Effect.
I really do wish more games put love into their weapons. I get so confused as to how some FPS games just have every single weapon feel identical.
