xbox won so far unless sony does the same thing with constant games annoucements
As someone who loves that feeling of E3 where I can just feel like I'm excited for games again... The convention didn't even start until this conference as far as I'm concerned. EA's was such a wreck.
Current state of the bongo card. Pink is subjective to your experience. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/797/4bb87992-353f-496f-9d92-9d4c03f200d0/image.png Violence - Gears 5 Square Enix IP - That Life is Strange spinoff CD Projekt RED - uhh they showed their game
For those who missed it https://youtu.be/8X2kIfS6fb8
My policy is to expect literally nothing from Sony then they can mildly impress me.
(Quick list I made, probably missed a couple things, for anyone that missed some or all of the MS conference) Microsoft E3 2018 conference summary ------------------------------------ - Halo Infinite (teaser trailer with Master Chief) - Ori and the Will of the Wisps (gameplay/story trailer) - Fallout 76 (new trailer, not much shown other than confirming in WV) - Metro Exodus (trailer) - Kingdom Hearts 3 (trailer, showed off new Disney characters included) - Crackdown 3 (literally play as Terry Crews) - Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (From Software, makers of Dark Souls) - New Life is Strange game (1st episode will be free) - Sea of Thieves (2 new content, July and September) - Battlefield V (new short trailer) - Forza Horizon 4 (has 4 seasons, confirmed 60fps on console) - New acquired studio - The Initiative (new studio) - New acquired studio - Undead Labs (State of Decay series) - New acquired studio - Playground Games (makes Forza, rumored to be making new Fable) - New acquired studio - Ninja Theory (Hellblade, Heavenly Sword) - New acquired studio - Compulsion Games (We Happy Few) - PUBG (showing off stuff that's already on PC) - Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition (remaster) - The Division 2 (Washington D.C., gameplay complete with cringy Ubisoft "player banter") - Xbox Game Pass - FastStart (coming late June update) - Game trailer montage (some new stuff, some older stuff) - Shadow of the Tomb Raider (story trailer) - Session. (new skateboard game, possible spiritual successor to Skate franchise) - Black Desert (gameplay trailer) - Devil May Cry 5 (gameplay/story trailer) - Cuphead in The Delicious Last Course (DLC) - Tunic (gameplay trailer - isometric Zelda-like game) - Jump Force (anime fighting game - Naruto, One Piece, Death Note, DBZ, etc. - from Bandai Namco) - Dying Light 2 (teaser trailer, gameplay peek) - BATTLETOADS (teaser, 2019) - Just Cause 4 (trailer) - Gears Pop! (GoW mobile game Pop! Funco shit) - Gears Tactics (X-COM-like GoW game) - Gears 5 (story trailer, quick look at gameplay) - Cyberpunk (trailer)
Good conference. A lot of games I'm looking forward to
I expected more car fetish bullshit where they have a man do full penetration of a supercar in front of everyone but instead I got Funko gears. I'll let you know if this was a disappointment or not as soon as I find out myself.
EA WAS a waste of time.
Show ain't over yet. Time for the other conferences to step up and show what they've got.
They've had pretty rock-solid conferences the last two years (2016 especially). That said, not sure how many "surprises" they can really have. Pls gib Horizon Zero Dawn 2 and whatever BluePoint is working on.
I'm glad Cyberpunk really emphasized the PUNK aspect, something a lot of modern cyberpunk really lacks.
Microsoft took the junk food approach and shoved a whole lot in our faces, but snuck in some classy 5-star desserts to make up for it. I hope the other panels aren't as bloated.
anybody know the song before the start of the show and ninja theory did ninja gaiden games
You guys think bodd boward is going to show up and vomit on us again
...V?
I really hope the rest are as good as this. Bethesda will have Fallout 76, Rage 2, probably Doom 2,probably a Prey expansion, and if we're lucky some other stuff. Ubisoft have information on The Division 2, probably a new Splinter Cell, info on Beyond Good and Evil 2. Sony will probably have a lighter conference since they just had a lot of prominent releases. Nintendo will be great if they have info on Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon for Switch, and Smash. This could shape up to be a very good E3.
As far as I'm concerned any game cdpr makes is going to be great.
Yeah, that's why I said "Even more of a waste of time."
Jesus fuck people redeemed those Cyberpunk codes fast. Can't get a single one to work.
Jump Force went for the nads for us old anime fans for sure. And death note's universe being the villain is so ingenious. JC4 is now gritty which slightly reminds me of JC2 justa bit. But Tunic is the one which got me the most because of that touchin music.
The codes they flashed during that sequence actually appear to be valid codes on the Microsoft site, though every single one I tried was redeemed.
Will there be a stream of Cyberpunk showing off gameplay somewhere or is the trailer all we are getting?
I think all the codes are already used up, but from what I hear it was Witcher 3 GOTY for Xbox.
humanity doesn't deserve this
For some nonsensical reason EA decided all actual gameplay should be done by Youtubers with limited clips rather than full matches.
pretty sure its still in early development, since they had announced it right as they started working on it. though its nu-relic so my expectations are pretty low considering how they handled dow 3 after release.
JoJo better be in the game.
Was thinking, did they actually announce any xbox exclusives? As in, you can only play it on xbox one?
