is there anymore to the sony conference or is that it? because that was lackluster as shit tbh
That's really just shitty editing then. It looks awkward.
Weird how professional people don't realize this.
They did suuuper briefly.
Maximilian is saying Mortal Kombat will actually show up on the Nintendo Direct, where they will anounce MK is finally coming back to a Nintendo console.
Then they will announce that Sub-Zero is going to be in Smash.
Which means Sub-Zero will fight Ryu in Smash Bros.
Because they showed it off pre-e3.
This is just a theory of mine but, I have a feeling this is because they're trying to step away from announcing games far into the future. Just look what's happening with FF7 Remake.
Or Ace Combat 7, Spyro, Red Dead 2, Dreams, or even Call of Duty! Did Black Ops 4 have any solid showing at E3 this year?
"One (worm) a day keeps the Timefell away"
I think when you eat the worm you grow a DNA clone of yourself in your body, so if you die you will respawn as the fetus. You're then exposed to the rain which is called Timefell to age yourself back to where you were
So the rain is deadly because it ages you but the babies are a respawn system and the worms are how it works
copying this from /v/, pretty good theory
Sony's smug arrogance is probably coming in full force now with the transition from PS4 to PS5. They don't care since they're at the top now. They did the same thing when they transitioned from the PS2 to the PS3, and got a huge backlash from it. Then they humbled themselves with the PS4 launch. And here we are.
As they announced maybe a few weeks ago, the actual conference was going to focus on 5 games.
This doesn't mean you'll only be seeing 5 games announced of course. Keep a look out on their official YouTube channel - we're already seeing more stuff being published.
Switch venues and then have some guy play a flute for 20 minutes
The banjo and flute guys were my favorite part of sony's conference
Didn't they do that for Spider-man to though?
They talked about Black Ops 4 during the intermission. They also announced that Black Ops 3 was being added to PS+ this month as an extra.
Why did all of them have to be over the shoulder cinematic action games though?
i just wanted some MediEvil news, man. RIP
i dont get the comments about microsoft "winning" E3, does it even count when the interesting stuff you show is multiplatform?
I'm just saddened that Dreams wasn't one of the 5 games.
Banana playing guitar was best part.
If it makes for a more exciting show? You bet.
Sure does. It's about which E3 was the most entertaining to watch and surprising, not about who has the most exclusives.
Yes. The one who wins E3 is the one with the best conference. Sony has one off the back of third party games multiple times.
Seeing games I can actually play is always nice.
I don't get the awards of "Best in Marketing" in general. Shouldn't the winner be the consumers, walking away with some gameplay for a game they can look forward to instead of pissing about with a Phalanx remake and porting an RTS to a belt sanded piss poor RTS competitive game for the mobile phone?
they blew their load pre-e3, their plan is to only highlight a handful of high profile games.
except their lineup isn't diverse, all their largest ammo are third person, action, realistic, gritty, cinematic.
plus, it is only an hour long, and the intermediate has been a complete waste of time.
AND, they have NOTHING outside of game showcases. Not even a single soul on stage to deliver a promise nor enthusiasm.
Ghosts of Tsushima looks tight though. I don't know how the gameplay actually works, but I'm hoping it's super lethal, and that blocking/dodging is vitally important, like it seems.
So about a good dozen reports on Twitter that I can't corroborate are saying Disney XD's E3 coverage was interrupted with an ad during the Last of Us II trailer.
