Sony won E3 because they showed off the new Phalanx

Why even bother covering a press conference where they're more than likely going to show M-rated games?
Because Disney wants to be hip with the vidya games.
I'm trying to wrap my head around the idea of watching this on the Disney channel.
KH3 trailer with only music and dialogue mixing IIRC is intentional and they've done it before with previous game trailers. I just can't remember which ones, however. Just a fucking weird SE thing
So I heard Sony's conference was mediocre at best.
The format was fucking garbage, but when they actually showed a full demo, it was good.
So just my opinion but...

Sega are the ones who won E3 this year.
I'm glad Sega is embracing PC. Saves me from having to buy a PS4 to play Yakuza and Valky 4
There's been so many cool games this E3.
I've always wanted to play Yakuza, now's my chance I suppose
Amazing price for what is basically a new game at that too.
Yeah, I can't believe Yakuza 0 is 20 bucks. That game is huge. That is such a great fuckin value
Shenmue I & II are there, too. Isn't Shenmue III supposed to be hitting PC as well?
bongo results after sony:

stream error is no longer subjective considering the sheer number of issues Sony had lmao
There will be a mini bongo card later this year for The Game Awards if I'm not homeless by then. That card and next year's E3 card (which will be the fifth anniversary!!) will have more general spaces like the older cards. This one is just too specific.
Microsoft's presentation was just as bad. Most of their announcements were third party, we had a shit load of First party from Sony and the reveal of Remedy's first multiplatform.
Shit man, I'm just glad we got to see more of SuckerPunch's game. They've been quiet the entire generation outside of inFamous Second Son.
That special stage for the Last of Us really fucked Sony's presentation. They could have gotten away with a Banjo performance that goes on just long enough to become tiresome, the awkward flute solo that was pretty close after and even giving greater focus to a smaller number of games - but the 15 or so minutes of faffing about literally padding for time for the sake of stage change that didn't need to happen just made everybody impatient, and made Sony's already modest selection of games even more unimpressive.
Is that stunt even going to impress the people actually attending? I can't imagine it being that fulfilling to spend however long shuffling into a tent only to spend a whole 15 minutes there before all getting up and shuffling into a different theatre.
Do I win bongo?

Made this.
That was only wheeled out to pump up their E3 2015 conference. It's clear the remake's nowhere near ready.
I dont know. Microsoft had a better flow and presentation, but Sony blew me away with the actual creativity behind the games. They also seemed to show more actual gameplay in their big titles. Plus dat Last of Us trailer was dope.
o nice Hideo and Lindsay interview is up

Gotta say, the Sony conference didn't bring any breaking new announcement to the table, but wha we got as definitely worth it, especially the long-awaited gameplay reveals.
To be honest I was interested in all the major games they have showed: Spider-Man, Death Stranding, The Last of Us 2, Ghost of Trushima and, once again, Kingdom Hearts III (I know at this point the series isn't exactly liked here, but the footage from the Pirates of Caribbean world nearly made me squee, especially witnessing how much the series has evolved in terms of graphics and gameplay).
Given I don't give two shits about whatever Nintendo is going to feature at their conference, this year's E3 is pretty much over for me, and it was kinda bittersweet: I liked many of the announcements (I've counted a grand total fifteen games I'm now interested in buying) and the new gameplay videos, but many parts of the event were especially worrisome to me, especially both the EA and Bethesda conferences and the general direction the industry is going (as to say, the hell with a given videogames series fidelity and distinctive elements and let's jump on the current bandwagon hoping to make some money).
See you guys next year, I guess
Just got caught up with Sony, and yet another lackluster conference. It was okay, but the games that I was excited to see more of kinda just left me caring slightly less for them than I did before.
There wasn't any of the Spyro remakes either. Apparently they are showing some of it during a playstation livestream today though. I just want to see some Spyro 2 footage.
