lol was that it are you fucking kidding me
That "Don't expect many new characters" thing can fuck right off.
This always confused me. Isn't Bowser usually different sizess, and has shrunk down a shitload for Smash too? Why would Ridley have been different?
Yeah but Pichu is back, and Daisy is worth ten new characters.
There is like sixty five characters in it, how many more do you need?
was that really it? im not a smash player so it looks super underwhelming :/
No metroid prime 4, bleugh. Not surprised given it's bandai namco developing it, can imagine it turning into a development hell situation
I can't beleive the smash community actually memed a character into smash
Smash looked cool, but shame that's pretty much all the showed.
Like, a huge draw of the pre-release of the game is "Who's going to get into Smash?"
4 specifically -Shantae -Shovel Knight -Quote & Curly -King K.Rool
goku when
A Zelda representative would be nice. No, upping the count to four clones does not count as representation. They have less characters than Fire Emblem that have unique movesets

Say what you will about the direct, but Smash itself made this E3 for me.
ughhh.. what a letdown nintendo was.
I bet they will do DLC characters there's no way they won't. I just hope they pick something good tho.
I still think Bethesda was the best conference.
So no Switch UI improvements, or news on their upcoming terrible internet plans (Why would I pay for online if it's fucking abysmal already), nothing on first party titles other than Smash. No apps, nothing.
Unrelated to Nintendo, but I can't believe I got blue-balled by Croteam yet again this year. Really wonder what's going on with the Serious Sam 4 development, seems troubling that they're not showing anything after announcing it a month prior...
Man imagine if you didn't care about Smash.
They definitely will, especially after the success Smash 4 had with it.
As a Nintendo fan who doesn't like Smash Bros, that was really dull. I realize I'm a rare breed, though.
It's not for everyone, and while it's one of my favourite series of all time... holy fuck Nintendo this is E3 not a Smash direct
I don't mind smash but I was hoping for a new animal crossing game, the switch would've been perfect for it.
Really disappointing. That Smash stuff went on for far too long. That should've been its own Direct, not on E3. No news about Metrioid Prime 4? Come on.
Could be that there are some major changes from the usual Serious Sam formula and they feel it's still not ready to be shown worldwide yet. Similar situation happened to Doom 4 back in 2014, remember...
I really enjoy Smash games, buuut yeah that was a bit much. They could have just covered all of that in their Treehouse event. I was really hoping to see something Metroid related.
They literally said it was going to be a Smash Direct
Also "Breath of the Wild Zelda is more focused on research". As... opposed to...? She fucking follows Link around everywhere pre-calamity on her own adventure?
