Company of Heroes 2 on Steam CoH 2 base game free until the 10th. Not the greatest game out there, but it's worth a shot with friends.

I'd say it's a very underrated game. It wasn't all that great when it came out, and the single player is meh but if you want a unique and good competetive multiplayer RTS that isn't all about micromanaging your macromanagement to korean levels of perfection, look into it!

Honestly I'm surprised it's considered bad at all, I bought I back when It came out at full price and I don't regret buying it at all

I don't remember the climate in the market back then but I imagine it was like this, Starcraft 2 had already filled the market space for competetive RTS games back then, which is to Blizzards great credit because that genre had been more or less dead for many years before that and has been since, I mean how many successful RTS'es since the 90s and early 2000s can you think of? That and the fact that the game was by no means perfect back then, still isn't, meant it didn't get enough attention to make it big in the competetive market and the single player wasn't good enough to make it big in the market for WW2 fans. It's been kept alive by a strong but small community and has managed to grow in the last couple of years, but it's still not a very big game in terms of players and attention.
