I'd say you can try and see the outcome. There's obviously quite a few different types of dogs, one mighy work better than the other. I think I'll give my dog a go tomorrow.

Challenging, the lighting is inconsistent and the pics are slightly angled. Yes, I know it's hard to get your cat to do whst you want but try putting him on a ledge so full paws and side are visible. For the head just get it as straight on and the back isn't very demanding, as long as you can see the ears. If you want to go all the way get a pic of the bottom of one of the paws. If you can, shoot outside in moderate light for best results.

Sure babe. Try to get some proper side and front pics. If you want to go all the way get a good pic of the back of an ear and maybe even the underside of the paw. Try to keep the light consistent and if you can shoot outside. If your cat is being annoying with the side picture try to find a place where your cat can only face one way, like a balustrade sort of thing. Might take me a few days to complete seeing how busy I am currently.
