Almost tempted to give it a try, laying the smackdown on incompetent kids sounds quite cathartic.
Roblox has come a really long way since the mid 2000s, I've been trying to tell people that the game development tools are top notch. Roblox Studio is incredibly powerful now, and it's a great way to get started with game development.
Shame the community has tainted the name.
Check out some of the 'showcase' builds that people have made, they're amazing and really demonstrate the graphical capabilities of this game now.

builds like that put the stuff I make in building games to shame, too bad I've never liked studio since you can't save in testing mode and I have 0 skill or experience in scripting
well, I gave it a good honest try, and I just cannot enjoy this at all.
the guns are good, sure, but everything else about this (especially maps) just completely kills any fun I could have.
it's hard to enjoy good guns if I'm spending 90% of my time running around a 3x scaled version of gm_bigcity just looking for someone to fight, only to get oneshot by a brazilian twelve year old and his magic 30 meter extendo-knife to start it all over again.

never lmao, it's especially bad on mirage because the map is so large you just light yourself up like a christmas tree because you can't possibly keep track of the absurd amount of angles on the map.
crane site kinda because it's a smaller map and some more cheek angles are covered but again it's a horrible idea. not to mention you can just shoot upwards through the bottom of the crane and kill people that way. or as they're going up the ladder.
I wanna meet the guy who made some of these maps and give them a slap in the face for some of these damn abhorrent sightlines, even the new map is just one huge sniper fest, you'd think they would've learnt from suburbia's shit
TBH i feel like I've been preferring TMD more and more because the maps are so bad anything objective-focused is just gonna be awful.
At least with TDM I can just fuck around and find nice spots to camp.
This game has become the go-to for my group of friends, it's easy to pick up and play because of the general low skill barrier in place, but there's enough skill based gameplay mechanics to allow us to autistically hone our skills and ruin the entire rest of the server's day.
I gave it an hour and half or so and it was pretty fun, even if it ran like ass because of my bad laptop
Makes me more excited to play when I get back to my main PC though, yay

Nope.
Well if you wanna get technical they have different weapon trees in addition to different starter guns.
Each class gets different guns, and that's it.
