Totally forgot about the stream and missed out on Ash Prime. Probably should've set an alarm or something. But anyways, all these updates look awesome. I love how DE consistently puts out new content and all for free.
you would of probably never got it anyway
Platinum is not free.
And you don't need platinum to play the new content. That's his point.
You technically don't even need to spend money to get plat too tbh
and my point is trade chat and their absurdly priced rivens funds quite a lot more than most consider.
I ... don't think I understand your point
Explain to me how that has anything to do with: I fail to see how Rivens have anything to do with Fortuna lol

Alright so I haven't played this game since archwing, kubrows, and mirage were added. Aside from new warframes, story quests, and the movement being revamped, how different is this game now? because I just watched the Fortuna&Railjack video and this looks like a completely new game. I had top end weapons, mods, and warframes when I played the game but all this content looks very intimidating because I know the focus of this game is still grinding
If you find the grind fun then the game is a blast. I'd honestly look into Eidolon hunts if you want to see where the current big cool endgame is right now, before Fortuna is released later this year. I personally have a lot of fun since I set one goal at a time for myself. I came back from a 5 year hiatus from early 2013 and now I'm fairly far into the end game. The only real things I have left to do are farm the 2% chance nonsense and grind mastery points, but I mostly just enjoy playing missions. It's the little victories, at least for me.

Well, technically, someone at some point has to pay for plat to get plat into the economy. But that's just semantics
So the last time I played was around the time Oberon came out, which I checked and realized holy shit that was back in 2013. I found a gift card I can use to buy plat, but I was also considering the current Prime access thing. I'd like some opinions on Limbo Prime. Is the frame any good, or should I just wait until I roll a 75% off login reward? I currently have Oberon, Valkyr, Trinity and Frost prime from twitch, Mag, and Nyx.
60 new posts, maybe DE broke something again? Oh OH OH Warframe really is the pinnacle of successful f2p games content and gameplay wise. Holy shit.
Limbo is a really niche frame, if you are still early on he probably won't be too much use for going through the main story/star map Unless you really want the cosmetics I'd wait for a 75% reward

It wasn't so much the grind I hated but at the time, all there was to do is grind absurd amounts of resources for stuff that did nothing and I got sick of doing the same thing over and over. How is the FP dojo doing? are Warbros and Reddit still shitting up Solar Rails? do people even care about those anymore?
scanning cephalon fragments is the single stupidest thing I've ever wasted time doing in a game. This is Vanilla WOW levels of fucktastic grinding. The fuck am I supposed to do? Run Ara 40 more times to get one chance at one fragment? Fuck.
Is there any real reason to grind them? Pretty sure they're mean to just be things you can come across while playing
Solar Rails were scrapped.
I literally cannot progress past mars? You're locked into doing them to play the fucking game mang.
Mars has two Junctions, so if the Phobos Junction requirements are burning you out, you can just go the Ceres route (which is the main path anyway). Cephalon Fragments haven't been rare at all in my experience (in fact I think there's one every mission, and often on the main path). If you have a mod that gives you Loot Radar, it'll even mark Cephalon Fragments as unique icons on your minimap.
Welp, time to reinstall Warframe again.
If you have any form of loot radar (Loot detector, thief's wit, animal instinct), cephalon fragments will appear on your minimap. Really helps in finding them.
There's always a fragment in every mission though? Mod for loot radar and run around the level. I did them all before Somachord Tones were a thing, because those now have a chance to replace fragments. No idea if it's a 50/50 chance, but just quit and restart the mission if you see a purple icon instead of a blue one.
I don't this game is fucking great game, but it's been designed to be as much of a piss off as fucking possible. I'm very close to uninstalling and calling it a day. I've run ara 30 fucking times this morning. I've found 2 fragments. I still need to find 3 more, and then also find lith fragments JUST to progress to the next map. This is a waste of time. I'd fucking play Vanilla Wow for all the grinding I have to do here.
If you want, I can join your squad and sniff them out for you, since you don't own any loot radar mods.
Oh I didn't realize. I unlocked the entire map long before the junction system was implemented.
I feel like this game is currently made so anyone who was playing it has a great time, anyone new to it won't.
