so i posted earlier about my difficulties with Stalker well today he popped up again in a mission, where i dunked a Zarr cannonball straight into his stupid face, killing him instantly yeah this is the Stalker I remember: sometimes he kicks your ass no problems, and other times he just completely whiffs the attempt

Been using a Kavat for a while now despite thinking the same before I got one, and man has it been great. Tanky as fuck and generally useful too, basically never dies unless I'm standing still at the last part of the sortie, and I can just pick it back up whereas sentinels just die usually. The buffs it gives are much more powerful than sentinels as well. Also, how modded is your Kavat? It's an end-game companion, you shouldn't expect it to do much unless you forma it some. My Kavat's build was maxed out on the 5th forma, if that says anything, and now its just incredible.

I have maxed mods with 5-6 forma on a smeeta kavat. Mine doesn't die either but holy shit is it unreliable compared to a sentinel. I'd post the build but I'm too lazy to bring up Warframe at the moment.

Weird, I use Smeeta too and I love the little thing. Just wish it had Vacuum and I'd never use a sentinel again pretty much.

You guys reckon ill get away with rushing the star map as a newbie? Im just focusing on junctions atm and upgrading my gear as i rush through

Unlocking the junctions is how you'll be able to access most of the content as well as reach farming areas. As long as you keep leveling the big mods (like serration) or have them maxed out, you'll be fine for the most part.

I really don't like using slow melee weapons in Warframe because the input buffering window is so damn long. Not even primed fury can save me from being stuck melee attacking as I helplessly watch my health bar shrink.

What slow melees would you be talking about? Those just sound like bad weapons. The only slow melee I use is a zaw I have, but I just use it with the plague arcane that lets me throw it

Try adjusting your video settings. If that doesn't help, consider verifying the integrity of the game cache through the launcher.

Right now I'm ranking the zenistar which sometimes swings twice in a single attack. Just now I tried to blind enemies as excalibur and had to wait for 3 swings to complete before the animation for raidal howl was initiated only to die before it actually went off.
