Vinbo seems to have gained new found interest in Warframe.
It's kinda strange. After Fortuna was shown, literally every streamer I follow started taking interest in Warframe, not even because of Fortuna though. They just sorta did.
The announcements of Fortuna and Railjack made a lot of people take notice. A lot of YouTubers and gaming news sources all started talking about it and how big the additions were, how game changing it is, and all that. So there is a lot of activity in the wake of that since many people are seeing it.
Like many people made note of Plains of Eidolon, but it was still new and didn't really have much to go on in the run up to it, and it had been sorta lingering around anyway and there wasn't a specific element to show off other than, "Open World". People didn't really bother to make much of a show of it. But Fortuna was all show. Opening the trailer with the song was the perfect idea. It was something short and catchy that established a ton of atmosphere for the update. Then within that they had a lot of smaller little things to show off, like the hoverboards and animal fultoning. Then they bookended it with a completely unseen and otherwise unheard of new gameplay element with Railjack. It was basically every element of the gameplay at once with a lot new things to do, and it was all done live. It wasn't just pre-recorded E3 gameplay footage like something out of Ubisoft nor was it just a cinematic trailer. It was a complete package with a lot of surprises.
Something else to keep in mind is that for some reason YouTubers and gaming news kept making comparisons between Destiny and Warframe in the run up to the release of Destiny 2 and Plains of Eidolon. Plains of Eidolon came out a month after Destiny 2 and the massive problems in Destiny 2 hadn't really been noticed yet, so it was riding high. But this time around Destiny 2 has little good will from the gaming community off the back of more than one mediocre paid content update and an announcement for another one that to everyone but the most diehard fans was met with a shrug and a sigh. The only other big sci-fi shooter rpg being talked about is Anthem and that has been a comedy shitshow the entire time people have known about it. So Warframe can walk in with an announcement that already would be big and in comparison to basically it's competition it blew them completely out of the water.
What's funny to me is that people who have played Anthem say it's actually a lot of fun, but the good will for EA/Bioware dried out a while ago. So it's gonna flop on release even if it is alright.
I came back to warframe after 3 years because my friends and I played the Destiny 2 demo, and it was boring as fuck. Then we were like, shit, that makes me want to try out warframe again. And now I'm about to unlock my last frame, after like 100hours in 3 months.
Can i have an invite to the clan? The name is the same as here.
Most have already played the game in the past but forgot about it since it was a really tiny game back then. Now Fortuna has them turning their heads and its just like this completely unrecognizable monstrosity of content now
could i have an invite to the clan? coming back to warframe after a long break.

Done.
Shout out to Rawkun for giving me exactly 1 plat and the dojo palette when I said I was 1 away from purchasing another palette. You're one generous motherfucker.
Speaking of palettes, what one should I get for maximum fashionframe? A lot of the palettes look the same to me and I was thinking of just unlocking the rest of the Classic palette but if there's something better let me know
The people that say it's a lot of fun are people that can't play DooM, and die every encounter in Nioh, literally on stream/camera and TeaWrex,. the guy who said Andromeda melee gameplay was better than me3 melee gameplay. Not saying that a instanced group shooter needs to be the paragon of skill, but the simple fact is BW and EA refuse to let Anthem out of its little perfectly manicured playspace with these ubishaft level "mp commentaries" and "previously recorded sessions"... they really aren't fooling anyone.
What they should be doing is taking some hard ass critics with obvious gaming skills and then let them loose with the game and get actual focus data, not unicron farts and fluffy rainbow sprays from the usual suspects.
You mean someone, almost anyone armed with grace and guardian and a zaw that does red crits at 2x combo with 4x condition overload is better? Sure.
Does anyone have any issues with staying connected to the chat server? It makes trading extremely difficult and it makes it so some PMs don't reach me.
Real sick of seeing this.

Hey can my brother get into the clan? He's not a Facepuncher, but we'd appreciate it.
His IGN is Bluebees
I used to have issues when using a bad ethernet cable that didn't properly connect with the port, the error would pop up when the cable moved in any way due to me being clumsy (I use a laptop), resulting in a small disconnect on what would be normally a lagspike
Thanks!
I'm on a desktop (with ethernet) that doesn't get nudged or touched at all, and when chat fucks out, my connection to everything else remains totally stable. (Discord, the game, even when I have another online game open at the time like the multitasking bastard I am)
I have someone else in the house that plays and I don't think he has this issue despite connecting the same way to the router.
If it's something that's only happening at yout PC, I feel like ou should do the following:
Try switching cables if it's easy enough, you never know.
Check if there's something blocking the game in your OS, could be a firewall or antivirus
Check if your ports are open and the game is able to communicate with the server. Since there's a setting for which ports the game uses, compare it with whoever doesnt have issues at your house, and check if he doesn't have a router setting that allows him to use the chat. Even if they don't, you could try port forwarding just in case, but it might be a bit slow depending on what router you use.
If all else fails, remember that technology is controlled by gnomes that feed on eletricity and live in sillicon, so issues appear and disappear even without you doing anything.
There's also plenty of reports and information on this error, since it's not only quite common among Warframe players, it's OS error code that can be result of a few networking issues, but that's mostly irrelevant in this situation, I feel, so if you're gonna do more research, I recommend sticking to the DE forums. I found a staff thread about the issue here.
I feel like all that would be more relevant if it weren't for the fact that it's only the chat server that cuts out, and it's not like it's permanently inaccessible. Just 8/10 times until I spam a few messages to force it to reconnect and it will stay connected for the next half hour as long as messages keep coming through consistently enough. Trying a different ethernet cables probably wouldn't help either because if it was an issue with that, far, far more would be wrong on my end than the chat server ignoring my existence. Same with ports, and he and I have checked the router countless times. The only things we've really fucked with is binding client ports to our computers so we can play on the same Garry's Mod without it kicking one of us off, but I doubt Warframe's chat server uses the same ports as Source game clients, and having a few ports open for our home hosted game servers for our friend groups.
This wasn't an issue in the past, it suddenly cropped up for no real reason a few months ago.
It's probably the gnomes. There's likely nothing I can really do about it.
But thanks for giving me the resources and info anyway, I'll still probably look into it when I have nothing better to do.

Praise the prophet of profit, rate him with your coins! Don't be shy now! the void rewards those who give unto it by 10 fold! Give unto me your coins, your diamonds! and the void shall bless you with its good graces!
So if I give you a diamond, I'll get Platinum rained on me? Is that what you're saying? By god I love Corpus suddenly
Absolutely! But the void works in mysterious ways, and only through giving coins to it through me may you be blessed by its promiscuous profits!
Hey,
Can I get an invite to FP clan too. Just reached Phobos, MR3, still rocking Excalibur but for the most part know what I'm doing regarding different missions though I am still pretty confused as to how to progress and what gear/warframes to work towards. Probably going to bother the clan chat with stuff like optimal builds and etc.

Done.
Such an influx of new WF Facepunchers lately, it's nice. Is it because of the Fortuna/Railjack publicity?
I started playing WF because of all the Plains of Eidolon publicity last year. I'm sure every new update that makes it into PCGamer etc draws a few more new players or encourages old players to check it out again.
I started playing Warframe because I wanted to understand what Charon's Warframe screenshots on Twitter meant
@_charon you did this to me, you got me hooked you son of a bitch
Not dying while bowling is fun.
All it needs is a pin-knocking noise.
or a choochoo, whatever
That's pretty much how it was for me. My BF and a large majority of my friends all love Warframe and play the shit out of it, so I always kinda felt the temptation of joining in to see what the fuss was about. Then that Fortuna trailer came along and that was enough to finally sell me.

Finally managed to roll this. I do not regret spending all that kuva for this roll.
