There's no patch notes, so if there are any other changes then nobody will know about them until they're found. Finding the new things for CC content is just a lot easier than trying to find other changes. On a completely unrelated note, I noticed that in the CAMP video Bethesda put up earlier today, they've made some notable changes outside of just the UI for 76: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/215295/75d39676-db2e-44b7-8abf-68078dc0ec93/F76Workshop.jpg You can now pick Variants of items, so items can be combined into a single object in the UI instead of having 20 different objects when the only difference is their colour. Maybe they'll change some of how this works when it comes to release, because it's a little odd building a brick wall out of wood (assuming that's not just a placeholder requirement for now). There's now a "Modify" option. It's hard to say what this'll be used for right now, but I suspect it'll either be for modifying positions or changing the variant that's used, as I can't see them letting you modify the actual objects. Who knows though, maybe they'll surprise us. There's categories for both recent and stored items (along with blueprints but we knew about that already). This should make it much easier to build and rebuild without having to go through the whole UI to find a specific object again. The way the overall categories are organized is pretty different from FO4 too, but it's hard to know exactly how different when we haven't seen all of them yet.
The animated promos shown for 76 might show off some more weapons, since they show the Shishkebab and single-action revolver that are in the game. They also have a hatchet and what might be the 9mm pistol from New Vegas.
gotta say, that UI is definitely a great incremental improvement to the settlement system.
He's also that perverted drug hormone filled teenager in Fallout 2 known as Myron.
Tried my hand at a BoS flag, with and without text https://i.imgur.com/sUkeCHS.png https://i.imgur.com/EI3ZQKA.png The smaller stars are for the generations of Maxsons, the two big ones are for Lost Hills and the Citadel.
I went on playing Fallout 4 for a long time under the impression that Paladin Danse was voiced by George Clooney. I continued to assume so since Bethesda had many celebrities voice their characters in the past, until I had finally checked the wiki and discovered it was not, in fact, George Clooney but Peter Jessop, who sounds way too fucking much like him.
If i only have the fallout 4 base game and i want the rest of the DLC whats the best way to get it right now with the steam sale?
Save 50% on Fallout 4 Season Pass on Steam
get the season pass while its on sale, you don't want to have to buy them individually. plus season pass gives you the most compatibility and features for mods.
Danse always sounded like buzz lightyear to me.
Hope they bring back the DKS-501 sniper rifle in 76.
I don't mean to plug my own shit, but tbh I think this looks better https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/15922-0-1467500194.jpg

VATS on pc sounds worthless because of hard hard it'll be to controll
I've been banned for a week and couldn't ask; how do you guys like that mod? does it work?
Possible details on BETA this week maybe? A BETA date?
VATS on the PC with guns will be a mixed bag. I'm assuming VATS defense will still be a thing so even as you're being shot at you still won't take as much damage while you're aiming as you would in real time. VATS on the PC with melee weapons is going to be just as broken in Fallout 76 as it is in Fallout 4 because you can VATS, target, and execute in a split second with melee weapons.
If VATS works exactly as it does in fallout 4 (minus the slow motion) in the new multiplayer game then the combat is going to be a complete mess.

Fucking dirty barnacle bastards are causing me grief, for some reason the radiation they put out isn't going away, I've just started at Dalton farm and already lost one settler to rad poisoning. There was a "Remove Barnacles" mod on Nexus but it isn't working. Any other way for me to remove them?
pictured: disabled veteran begs for change outside of diamond city (do not use resurrect command on gibbed npcs) https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/251806/d05c427b-a350-4ffd-8b3c-a76eab0d8f6b/377160_20180628202105_1.png
We were never meant to play god. ...Also maybe next time try recycleactor?
Doing it with completely gibbed npc's is more fun http://i.imgur.com/hbPJCWg.jpg
Is Sims Settlements good for getting back into the game? I haven't tried it yet but it does look nice and I see they have quests.
In all seriousness, having crippled and disabled NPCs wandering around would be neat and it should actually be a common sight in a post nuclear USA with mutant carnivorous lizards the size of a van.
Oh shit.
I didn't like MacCready's color palette so I made my own (with a historically accurate marine corps-esque theme) https://puu.sh/AOc3a/4eb8b5c32f.jpg https://puu.sh/AOc34/a981017050.jpg
So I just preordered Fo76. Does the BETA code come soon after you preorder on Beth.net store, or are they still being sent out? Ordered on PC.
Q: So Fallout 76 will feature crossplay?  A: No. (laughs) We would love to do that, but at the moment it's not possible.  Q: Why not? Is Sony and Microsoft not co-operating?  A: Sony is not as helpful as we'd like. We'll see what the future will bring.  Lol fuck Sony
What he said about microtransactions in here could be concerning. Lootboxes weren't ruled out despite directly being asked about them, the ingame store might end up being more than just cosmetics (though what counts as cosmetics still isn't clear, and he says they don't want it to be pay to win but who know if they'll actually stick to that), and rather than being able to do something in the world (like just finding them or doing a quest for them) to get the items in the store, it'll be a case of playing the game a lot to earn the currency (which also implies it'll definitely be using a similar system to the Creation Club).
