location spoiler if you care: the pulse gun is in vault 34, just east of sharecropper farms. The key is in boomer territory, and the lock is level 100, but you don't actually have to go to boomer territory
I wish that companion dialogue could trigger in-gameplay, like you're walking down a road and you can navigate the dialogue kinda like 4's quick loot system while still able to move. I think that would make people more willing to go through their dialogue more organically, rather than hit all the bright options as soon as you recruit them and have all that information immediately be forgotten

Features
========
Adds whole new questlines:
-The Traders questline, which is by far the longest and most complex. Speak to Lucy in the Fizztop Grille basement to start it.
-The Raiders quest, which allows you to oppose Lucy.
-The Nuka-World Brotherhood questline, which is primarily concerned with taking over the Commonwealth Institute. You can start this by finding a clean bunker close to Bradberton Overpass, picking the lock on the trapdoor and speaking to the intercom near the locked bunker door.
-The Nuka-World Institute questline, which is only gotten if you decide to interfere with one of their operations. You can start this by hacking into Lucy's terminal in the Fizztop Grille basement.
FNV Realistic Wasteland Lighting or Clarity? I've heard RWL has bad scripting, which I want to avoid. Is that true?
Any other alternative weather mods that aren't Nevada Skies that I'm not aware of?
Was there ever a fix for huge fps drops indoors for F4, as well as randomly in the city? I remember getting a shadow map mod, but like, the game still goes to a crawl on a beefy system, despite the fact that I can put on a shitload of things that make other areas of the game infinitely complicated (EG, a mod that makes the whole map greener and adds thousands of new foliage objects.) and that does nothing to the framerate, but go downtown? Forgeddabout it. Go in a metro station? Fuck you, <30 FPS
I wish I got 30 fps after spending several hours optimizing the .bsas.
There should be a guy like this in the next Fallout

I don't feel safe on this savegame anymore.

Sim Settlements is one of the most impressive mods I've seen in any Bethbyro game, period.
Most Beth games have really good quest mods why hasn't anyone made any good ones for fallout 4 yet?
Maybe I just haven't searched well enough, anyone have any suggestions?
I absolutely goddamn D E M A N D an overhaul mod that retcons sarah lyons deathand makes her the High Elder instead of Maxson in FO4
GIVE ME BACK MY WAIFU
I'd much rather she show up as the leader of the brotherhood outcasts in a future game.
Sure Maxson says she's dead, but Maxson also thinks potatoes are extinct, the dumb fuck.
i feel like if anything a story of Lyons having survived an attempted murder from the other steel members, and comes back in a quest where she's the leader of a new set of outcasts that preferred helping people would be kinda cool.
I feel like Sarah Lyons 'Died in combat' the same way that Trotsky accidentally fell head first on an ice pick multiple times.
Today I visited Vault 34 for the first time in New Vegas for Veronica's companion quest.
The first time and, most definitely, the last.
The vaults are easily the worst part of FNV

Granted, I've yet to use any of these in any context, but damn if Terrifying Presence wasn't one hell of a purchase, as far as perks are concerned
So I just googled Moira Brown and this was the result...

I really hope there will be some way to get some extra firepower on your side when you're playing alone in 76, specifically if you were able to make your own robot buddy
I think the main reason people find these NPCs, shall we say, arousing is because they have a quirky, really endearing personality more than anything else
In honor of the season,

If you look up rule 34 you'll find that the most popular characters are the ones with the most porn, rather than the most attractive ones. Of course the attractive ones get a lot too, an the ones who check both boxes get more than anyone else.
Not that I'd know much about that kind of thing.
...okay F4 must have a fucking huge memory leak or something, because I just reloaded my save that was in a terrible running indoor area, and it now runs fine...ish.
What the fuck is wrong with this game
Sometimes it doesn't just work.
Sometimes the game freaks out when a bit of the indoor 'atmosphere fog' is on screen, drastically lowering the framerate. I think it's caused by the game trying to draw the fog multiple times in the same spot and not knowing how to handle it, so it just ends up with layers of alpha transparency overlapping and eating VRAM.
Like how in some games getting close to smoke, or a smoke grenade, causes the FPS to tank because it's trying to draw more layers of smoke and transparency.
I'm probably entirely wrong, but that just seems like the most obvious answer.
How is Horizon? I wanna give the game a shot again with Sims Settlements and Horizon but I know Horizon is a huge overhaul that requires a lot of patches, and there's a few weapons I want to mod in but don't have a comparability patch with it
I kind of love the hyper dangerous dungeons (including some vaults) that FNV had, you always got the idea they where some serious shit when you saw them.
I always thought it Sentinel site should of been the same thing but it was pretty meh
I've been enjoying Horizon, but it definitely has its problems. It loves to focus on settlement building to a degree, and I hope you enjoy salvaging for the one specific component that you always run out of (Basic Circuitry).
